How to get started
Step 1: Read and agree to the terms
To ensure that Scottish Slimmers’ online community remains positive and supportive, we need you to agree to some terms of use before you register.
If you’re signing up for a Scottish Slimmers Online, Daily Record Slimming Club or Sunday Mail Slimming Club service, there are terms specifically relating to these memberships.
To confirm that you have read and agree to the terms of use, tick the box and click the REGISTER button below. If you don’t agree and wish to cancel your registration, simply hit the BACK button on your browser.
Step 2: Create your account
Once you’ve read and accepted the site’s terms of use you can start setting up your online account by picking your username and password and setting your email preferences. If you want to purchase an online subscription you can do that now – no payment is taken at this stage.
Step 3: Activate your account
To protect your privacy and security we will send an email to the address you’ve provided to verify that it was actually you that created the account and to check that you correctly entered your email address. The email we send to you contains instructions on activating your account, which is usually as simple as clicking on a link. If you aren’t purchasing an online subscription, once your account is activated your registration is complete and you can start exploring the site. If you’re signing up for an online subscription, no payment is taken until you complete step 4.
Step 4: Purchase your subscription
This step only applies if you’ve opted for an online subscription. Once you’ve activated your account and signed in, you’ll be taken automatically to the subscriptions manager that will show you the package you chose previously and will guide you through the steps necessary to make your payment. Once payment is completed, your online account is ready to use right away. Visit the COMMUNITY Support Forums for some Getting Started tips and advice.
