In partnership with the Scottish News of the World, Scottish Slimmers' ultimate celebration of weight-loss success, its annual Slimmer of the Year event, promises to be the best yet.

2010 is Scottish Slimmers’ 30th birthday so this year's Slimmer of the Year event will be a double celebration. There are more categories which means more winners!

The Scottish Government's Healthier Scotland Take Life On campaign is once again sponsoring some special categories in 2010's search for super slimmers.

MALE SLIMMER OF THE YEAR Category for the most inspiring male weight loss success story

HEALTHIER FAMILY Category for relatives who stuck together and slimmed together

PLUS: In 2010 Scottish Slimmers, in association with Healthier Scotland, will present a LIFETIME SUCCESS AWARD to a slimmer who, following their original weight loss, has managed to maintain their lighter weight for a number of years. Tips for entering
  • You don’t need to choose a category – we will do that for you!
  • Please include a photo of you before you lost weight and a photo of you as you are now
  • Full length photos are preferred – show us your transformation!
  • You must be over 16 years of age to enter, have followed a sensible, low fat or calorie counted diet – no pills, patches or potions!
  • You must have lost weight within the last 12 months (except Lifetime Success Award), and agree to inspire others by appearing in Boost! magazine as well as other local and national publicity resulting from the event
