God it's been a long time since i posted on the exercise pledge page
Well i'm making a comeback, yet again!! Rejoining class tomorrow night but have already made a start on the exercise

I joined curves the woman only gym a few months ago but haven't really put my heart & soul into it, till last week that is, so since 11th July i've been 6 times, (they say you only have to go 3 times a week to see results so here's hoping)
I was swimming yesterday with my brother & my wee niece, thu was more larking about than serious swimming lol
Went out an hour long walk this morning & will be pledging to go to Curves 4 times this & week as well as doing some exercise on my twist & tone thingy i got for the avon so will have to dust the cobwebs off that haha

Hi all,
Still here, hubby on holiday for last couple of weeks so not been at gym. Aiming to go tomorrow at some point so will be posting on here regularly again.

For the 1st time in a year, I got my bike out from the shed and gave it a go. Boy, it was more difficult that I thought it was gonnae be but the 1st hurdle has been jumped. I know I may have aches and pains tomorrow but someone please tell me it'll get easier!

Hello everyone
Slowly getting into the exercise again. Still loving my bike and the rebounnder but haven't been on them as much as I should have.
Got one of those core stability balls at the end of last week and I am loving it. Even just sitting on it gets you some exercise and you are having to stabilise your balance at all times, plus you can't help yourself but move around on it.

flick - you are doing fabby with the rebounder and the fitball
well........I bounced on my rebounder last night and my new guinea pig thought i was bonkers!! I will be bouncing on it again tonight and flick....you've got me thinking that i will blow up my fitball again too and get using it!!

I am venturing out to the gym later, for the 1st time in about a month. Looking forward to it, but a wee bit anxious.............

Goodness me, I used to pledge on an exercise thread months and months ago and needless to say haven't exercised much since then, due to starting a very physical and stressfull job but determined not to let it get to me and am trying to get back into exercise again, every little bit counts after all!!! So back to my treadmill, trying to do at least half an our 3 times a week but pledging today to try 5 times this week and see how I go, I did yesterday's so only 4 more to go.

Well folks finally made it to gym and found this page again so will be pledging a lot more from now on. I was last at the gym on 1st July so that is exactly a month I hadn't been. I pledge to go again on Fri, then again on Sunday.
Hope you are all being good.....nothing like a bit of exercise to lift the mood......I was buzzing when I came home. Just had a nice shower and chilling now with the kids........x

Thanks Nicky, it's good to be back. Well, so far so good, 3 days down another 2 to go and that will be my 5 days out of 7 exercise! I'm really enjoying it too as I can watch my Big Brother repeat while I am doing it so the time goes in quicker

I hardly even feel as though I'm exercising!
Well done Nicky for your go on the rebounder and Cheer Bear making it back to the gym, yes it does give you a certain buzz doesn't it!! Keep it up girls.
Well done angie - you're doing great, half the battle is finding an exercise you enjoy, and a way of making it go in quicker.............

Oh yes I can think of some exercise involvoing Dermot but that wouldn't be readable on here
Just finished my 4th session of the week on the treadmill so hanging in there! I can't quite believe I have stuck to my pledge so far, I usually always come up with an excuse, only one more day to go, wooohoooo!

training is back on from tonight and after a whole month off i suspect i'm going to be completely knackered after an hour and a half tonight!! can just picture me, oooh its no pretty!!
i'm pledging to have fun at training tonight, well its a start!
would like to start making use of my air walker too, i'll pledge to use it for half and hour Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday nights (got training on Thursday night)

WooooHooooooooo, I managed my 5 days in a row last week and am going for 3 this week as it affected my nightshifts, I was knackered!!!! Really enjoyed it though, it's good to have the fitness bug again. xx Have a great week everyone xx

Just refreshing it though cos I find it really does help me. I was at the gym on Sunday and pledge to go again today and either Thur or Fri again before my weigh in on Saturday.

i've been on hols this week......and unfortunately exercise has been on the back burner!
i've been really busy doing lunches........child sitting etc!

I made it to the gym twice this week, was aiming for 3 but ran out of time! Not enough days in my week.
Just back from toddler group today, walked there and back, ditched the car...

I am going to my mum and dad's for my tea but I am going to do one of my Rosemary Conely dvds tonight and another twice this week too.....i'm not sure what my guinea pig will think about jumping around like a nutter!!

i went to training last night, we did loads of fitness work and such like and i've realised hat i've become a little unfit
when i'm finished work tonight and i've got time between picking up andrew and going home i'm ging to go out for a run, itst he only way i can do this!

right i am back and feeling more positive.......
I am pledging to do one of my rosemary conley exercise dvd's tonight
Tomorrow.......i will bounce on my rebounder to some cheesey music for 15 mins followed by doing some exercises on the fit ball
Wednesday - I pledge to workout to Rosemary Conley
Thursday - i will bounce on my rebounder to some cheesey music for 15 mins followed by doing some exercises on the fit ball
Friday - I pledge to workout to Rosemary again......
As well as this.........I am pledging to walk to work every day and onwards....

i did a 20 min RC dvd last night.........i used to be able to do it easily!!

I have bought 3 RC DVS's from play.com - what a bargain got them all for £9.99....like the idea of the 5 x 10 fat burner 1.......i never seem to have enuff time in the day so 10 mins is a start for me

I'm here, but I'm not if you know what I mean. I will be going back to the gym this week, just not had time. I've had a sore arm/elbow for a few weeks and finally got round to seeing dr this morning about it. I have to rest it for a few weeks, but can go to gym, just not to do arm exercises for the moment.
I have been doing a lot of walking recently though as the weather has been nicer, so every little helps.
You are all doing fab though, glad to hear it!!

ok ok you got me Nicky - I will do 10mins exercise

also go to my mums resist the cake and fix Sharlies bike......

just thought i would do a wee update....and where are you all????
i've walked to work everyday except yesterday
i'm doing a 12km walkathon on sunday

i'm away to edinburgh next week so i will try to walk everywhere and wear my pedometer to see how many steps i do......will report back on my return
i'm also going to a trial session at curves....
CC - i hope to see you posting here if you are a gym bunny now!!
CB - how's your arm?

my get up and go had got up and went but i did complete a 12k walkathon last sunday in just over 2 hours and then did lots of walking around edinburgh mon-thurs last week........
i'm going to a curves gym on wednesday for an induction thingy.....!

Great plan - you're going to be as fit as a fiddle.......
It's so good to see this thread again, it was a great help to me before.
I plan to go to the gym today, Wed and Fri too... time permitting, the schools are on holiday.
I will do some walking too with the kids, I did this last week instead of taking the car and it certainly does help. The better weather appears to be here too so that helps.

This week is a bit difficult to plan as im off for the week, so my plan is keep moving, run don't walk (or dance) and keep moving as much as possible lol Off to Loch Lomond shores tomorrow so should get some calories burnt off in the fresh air.

Enjoy! i have been 5 times this week as i have been on holiday. It does come quite addictive. My only problem is that some weeks i do not lose weight but i know i am shrinking.

My exercise for last week was -
Monday - 1 hour PT session, 1.2 hr spin, 1 hr body attack
Tuesday - 1 1/2 hrs jogging with PT (9.2mls)
Wednesday - 1.2 hr abs, 1 hr spin, 1 hr circuits
Thursday - 1 hr PT session, 1 hr body attack
Friday - Day of rest
Saturday - 1 hr circuits, 1 mle on treadmil, 10 mns on xtrainer and bike
Sunday - Day of rest (well except for that lovely pastime of shopping)
I think that I must have too much time on my hands

Felt I had to refresh this thread to keep me focussed, it really helped me in the past. Would anyone else like to join me????
I joined Curves on Wed night after a lot of humming and hawing, been getting mixed feedback on it!! Anyway, I am pleased to say I am loving it. Did my first proper workout last night and I can't wait to go back, I am hoping it is open tomorrow!!
