Hi Daisymay
HI Daisy,
I hope you are feeling better about yourself.
We all find it hard, but if you are stuck in a rut, it's even harder.
PLEASE believe in yourself. Your holiday many be getting closer but each day is another day where you could be making that difference which you obviously really want.... Your cup is half full NOT half empty.
Get your books out and make each meal come from them. Have a notepad or daily checker if you have one, out and ready to be used. Write your menu for the next day at night. To pass time at night and to stop you snacking, sit with your notepad/daily checker and all of your recipe books out and sit and drool over all the nice meals you can have the following day. You will not be snacking and AND losing weight.
The secret really is to write everything down... then you know how many checks you've had AND how many you have saved for the special things in life.
I see some members have been talking about no-check soup and Jelly... but i also know another delicious meal you will love. An average egg is 7 checks BUT the calories are only in the yolk... So make your eggs healthier and CHECK free by only eating the egg white.
To make a CHECK free omelet..
Separate the egg whites and yokes from the eggs as you like (about 4 is enough for a decent size)... chop up some mushrooms OR onions. Fry onion/mushrooms in spray oil, pour in egg white mixture and cook.
Then ENJOY CHECK free!! Very nice and light meal.
ALSO i enjoy a nice mug of hot Sugar Free juice at night to give me a nice warm feeling BUT no spending extra checks.
I hope some of this helps you.
Have a wonderful holiday and all the best to you ![]()
