Ok folks, here it is, the one you've all been waiting for.....
the new year, new you challenge, complete with old style chart and buddies for those who requested.
The boring small print bit........
I commit myself to doing this chart for you all and it is important to me that you commit to checking in each week - even if you have a non weigh week, please let me know. If you do not check in for 2 or more consecutive weeks you will be removed from the chart and any accumulated losses will be deleted. If you wish to drop out, no problem, just let me know either on thread or via pm. If you have asked for a buddy please contact them and spur each other on in anyway that works for you! If you have any problems, grievances or beef with the challenge in any way please pm me and I will try and resolve it. I gain nothing from doing this chart apart from the warm fuzzy feeling inside of making other human beings happy.
Anyway, nuf waffle, here it is, complete with buddy list. Please contact your buddy via pm and get to know each other. Your buddy is your buddy for the full 8 weeks of this challenge. If anyone wants to set a little target for the 8 weeks thats great, mention it in your first posting. Likewise if you would like to set a mini target for the next weeks loss, mention it in you post. I canot guarantee to get it on the chart but its nice to write it down.

il go second, i aim 2 lose a 1.5lbs per week throughout the challenge, so 12lbs in total. xxx

Thanks for setting up the challenge Pinky! I'm looking forward to it. My aim is to lose a lb a week so that'll be 8lbs by the end of the challenge. Still waiting to see what the damage is from Christmas so i may need to ajust my ticker a wee bit! Anyway my weigh day is a monday so i'll be back tomorrow with my first result. xx

hi everyone! Hope you dont mind if i join in. I was a member a few months back but i lost the plot. This is a fresh start with a fresh outlook. I am going to go it alone as I cant afford to join a gym and pay for class but i will have my weigh in day once a week, a monday so 2mrw is the beginning.
I hope to loose 14lbs in 8 weeks xx

Hi Everyone!
Pinky - thanks a million for doing this. It's just what I need to keep me motivated. Not sure what i'll weigh tomorrow although I expect to have gained about half a stone! No point in crying about it - I enjoyed every single bit of chocolate I ate, I just ate so much that I started to feel sick! LOL!!
I'd love to lose a stone in the 8 weeks but like Maz, I think 10lbs is more realistic.

good luck with everyone for the weigh in today!! I am meant to be re joining tonight but going for a meal!!!!!! with my mum as i hadnt seen much of her over xmas and new year, i am off work until wed so will weigh myself on the works scales wed morning...
that is where i had the sts on friday 28th so i am being consistent!!!

I am just joining ss tonight, my weigh in is at 5pm but I would love to join in your new year challenge, I think its a great idea. As I'm completely new to this diet I would love a wee buddy to help me along and keep me on the straight and narrow so if anyone can help I would really appreciate it. I would like to lose a stone by the end of the 8 weeks.

Hello Ladies,
Day 1 back on the wagon - I've only had a chicken & tomato sandwich for lunch and courgette & mushroom risotto for dinner and melon as my EDB fruit. Not used all my milk allowance yet. Not even missing chocolate...yet!
I'm allowed 50 checks a day so I think I can afford to have a cup of coffee and a packet of SS cookies!
How's everyone else doing?
