Ona the cheese and tomato baguette pizzas are from tesco, tescos own make in the freezers they are 275 cals each so 11 checks and i usually put some sliced mushrooms on top and serve with a salad

Here's me ladies - would I hide???? Busy with prep for a management meeting this morning and then sitting through it.... now contemplating my 1lb gain this week.... that's what you get when you have woowoos and crisps at the weekend and you don't write anything down!!! I have decided that I don't like woooos at all - I actually only had one, but won't be entertaining the thought of them in the future - they spoil the taste of the vodka!

Continuing to be very busy and have been clearing out my loft, so that must have burned off quite a few calories - how do we manage to accumulate such a load of clutter?? Bags and bags of stuff have gone out to the bin and it has been good for the soul.

Weekend to myself - family off to Edinburgh with hubby being a Hibs fan and the derby being on Sunday. I am going to have such fun on my own!!!!!! I am making the new "spare" bedroom (following the departure of eldest to uni) into a study just for me and it is coming on nicely. Space for poetry and history books, artfully arranged nick nacks and pictures - this will be my new bolthole.

Will also have to spend time washing all of hubby's "holiday" clothes, which I washed when we came back from Spain in July but which I am now required to rewash for no apparent reason - grrrr. Need to see if I have anything suitable too. Flying to Egypt from Edinburgh 5th November. It's Globespan Marion -flights will start from Aberdeen to Sharm but not till 17 December it seems. Maybe next year if we like it this time.

Well and truly stuck with this weight game - can't even be bothered changing my ticker to reflect my gain.... Need a bit of tough love I think to get my act together! What on earth am I going to be like after a week all inclusive????

Afternoon ladies!

I am in work but it's so quiet so I'm sneaking on here....

My wee car has had it's day! One of himself's pal gave the car a pre-mot check earlier today and it'll cost more than the car is worth to fix it so it is going to the scrappy!! At least I can use himself's car when I need to and I will now have to walk to work every day which will be good for me! And I won't have the added expense of running a car either although it is useful to have my own transport it is by no means essential.

Feeling a bit stressed just now and not sure what about!!!! Maybe it's TOTM symptoms...who knows!!!!

good morning everyone

i can't quite believe its sunday again!! the week vanished and the weekend has done likewise!

i'm still pepping and exercising, i have to admit, i'd forgotten how much i actually enjoyed jogging and even managed to do 3 miles yesterday, i was purple by the time i had finished but loved it all the same!!

it was andrews birthday on Thursday so we had his birthday tea last night, got soem fillet steak sodid that with potatoes and pepper sauce, i'm very glad i did justice by cooking it, it was very very good!

not much planned for today thoug, weather not too good here bt i've plenty to be going on with in the house, a lazy day is what is called for i think!!

i'll be able to get on the boards tomorrow morning, the receptionist is on holidays and i'm covering her job for the morning atleast!

Andrews birthday supper sounds so fine did you do homemade sauce? we usually use a packet one its very quick and easy and tastes fine too which is more than a home made one would if i made it!!!

Well as i said already when we got to Tulloch the lady at reception asked if it was a twin we had booked and i said yes as that was all they had at the time of booking so then she said we do have a double would you like it so we said yes and ended up in a lovely big room with a four poster bed. We unpacked our stuff and went for a drink in the bar which we took though to the sitting area where there was a big fire going it was so cozy and relaxing i almost fell asleep

we got talking to another couple and lost track of the time a bit so ended up being alomost half an hour late for our resturant booking hope they didn't think we were making good use of that four poster !!

we had a lovely meal both had lentil and bacon soup then i had pork on mustard mash with broccoli and carrots and a blue cheese and chive sauce Kenny had the steak peppercorn sauce onion rings mushrooms and chips then he had the cheese board while i had a brandy basket with bananas and vanilla ice cream all washed down with a bottle of champagne the remainer of which we took to our room afterwards

was sleeping by the back of 10

today after a full cooked for him and porridge for me we drove up to Dunrobbin Castle and had a look at the grounds didn't go into the castle this time we've been before but it was only open for a couple of hours this morning and by the time we got there it would only have been about an hour so it wasn't worth paying for. Pity it was raining but the gardens were lovely and we got some photos of castle. Then we drove home had a quick stop in past Brodie Countryfayre where i could have spent loads on Christmas stuff but resisted ............... Kenny bought a Christmas pudding!!!

So thats us home and going to have a lazy night catching up with last nights x factor

Ohh poor you on the 'u know whats!, but a four poster ... might have to google it,his birthday 28th Oct my birthday 7th Nov, so will drop a hint or 3.. Nae much decorating happened since fri night..ordered his bed just the furniture to get [out o stock] down to dunelm this pm and new bedding curtains etc. We've also relented and going to pay for some of his driving lessons I didn'a want to as he's an ungrateful little ******. Just had a very nice casserolle wi aunt bessies dumplings - Iknow I'm dumpling enough without eating more. Where did the motivation go for the gym

Am away tomorrow for our wee break,back Friday afternoon,all being well then on Monday I will be attempting to get back on plan ,could lose almost a stone in time for Christmas if I can get my head in gear so you will all have to be extra strict with me if it looks like I need a kick in the right direction.
Having a break from the ironing at the moment while the next load is in the drier,then will have to get some packing done ,trying to get my lot to sort out what they are taking with them is like pulling teeth,would serve them all right if they ended up with no clean clothes for 4 days ,or with clothes of my choosing.Friends from down the road are going to visit family in Greenock at same time so Greg and his pal are hoping we can meet up at the pool or swimming,they seem to have it all planned.
Dawn that's the sort of thing that happens to me,I had totm part of the time in Paris!Also got mine at moment too!I have a lovely photo of Dunrobbin castle in my hall-Dave took it and photoshopped it to make it look all mystical and mythical.
Marion good luck with the decorating and your tea sounds affa fine -we had roast chicken.
Carol well done to your son on passing his test and as for totm
Nicky,at least you won't need to spend any more money on your car,think what you can buy with all the money you save.

Can you get all the condensed milk out of the tube????!!! A school pal's dad used to eat the stuff straight oot the tin!!!! I find it too sweet which is a good thing I suppose and just use it to make the occasional traybake!!

I made a sandwich for lunch today but didn't have anything with me for my tea (it's my late finish) so I bought a salad from my mum's work....and a pear and a satsuma!!! Himself saw a photo of me when I was aged 20 and a size 10 at my grandma's yesterday...not that I want to get to a 10 again but to get close to that would be great...he's going to boot my bahooky to do it...he says!!! The weird thing is that I thought I was fat then!!!!

I haven't eaten crispy pancakes since I was wee and it was always the cheese ones we had....I wasn't particularly fond of them but I think they are quick for tea as we were always at the end of the road!!! hope you enjoy them Carol

Afternoon ladies!

Fab idea skippy which I wanted to say earlier today but the webserver was down at work and I couldn't access the internet!!! boohooo!!!!!

I would like to have a wee cyber glass of champers later but I've just met my brother in the local baker for a plate of macaron so not sure I can have one later but will try for tomorrowi!! Champagne is much more appealing than string and sure might keep me on the straight and narrow so great thinking skippy! He's on a fleeting visit here from Spain and was complaining about how freezing it is!!!!! At least it's sunny was what I was thinking!!!

Speaking of champagne...I was saying to my brother that I wasn't too happy at his put down at his wedding with the DP & orange juice and apparently, the champagne was supposed to be a brand which is about £20 a bottle but the wholesaler didn't have it in stock so they ordered DP instead and the hotel didn't charge for the cost of the DP!!!!! Still didn't like it though!!!!!

The scales might not be that bad Dawn...let us know how you get on xx
