Well after 1 year on the plan I finally reached target just before xmas !
I was wondering if I should have received some kind of target memebr book/pack with advise on what to do now?
I plan to continue attending class and become a life time member to keep me on the straight and narrow.
Thanks SS for the best xmas for ages

Well done Liz that's a fantastic loss you've had. Haven't had the priviledge to become a target member, but am aiming for it this year, so can't help you. Maybe someone else can guide you. xxx

Wow, 66.5 lbs lost, what a Christmas present to yourself and an inspiration to us all!

I can't give you advice as I'm only just starting, but there are loads of target members who use the boards so someone should be able to advise.
Good luck in maintaining x

I believe there's a thread somewhere on here for target members - I'm sure you'd be very welcome

when I upgraded to a Lifetime Member last year, I got a pack with 2 books one was for higher check value receipes and the other was a whole book about maintaining your target weight, ie inc checks and lots of good tips and advise.. Also got a card to get stamped each week at class and after 10 weeks you send away for a gift.
If you didnt get this i would ask about it.

On Tuesday (19th), I made my target weight with an added 1lb loss - that's 3 stone 2 & a half lbs since July 17th, 2007. The ring of that bell was fantastic.
The focus now has to be to ensure all the effort and expense is for my long term benefit, I don't want to contemplate returning to the me of old.

Well done Clare, best advice I can give is keep going to class ,at least initially as after not going for a few months I now have a few pounds to lose to get back to target.I would also strongly suggest you take out lifetime membership ,it gives you the safety net of not having to rejoin ever and you only pay for the weeks you attend if you are 7lbs over your target weight.

Well done on getting to target, I would advise keep going to class for the next 6-8 weeks, to make sure you adjust your check intake correctly, it does take some getting used too.
Good luck with maintaining

I agree with Onalee 100% - if I had done this first time I lost weight I wouldn't be trying to loose over 8st now
Stick with it and keep going back to class on a regular basis - it may be a drag but it's better than the possible alternative in a year or twos time if you go back to old ways
I'll not be making that mistake again thats for sure
