Morning all

I'm heartbroken this morning, my best m8's hubby collapsed and died last night at a night out, they had just come off the dance floor, she tried to resus but to no avail. Puts everything into perspective doesn't it.

So sorry to hear of your friend's sad loss. What a shock. x

Day 3 was a success, here's to day 4 ~ Echo and The Bunnymen were brilliant last night~ wrapping pressies this morning before work so its a quick hello and goodbye xxx

Bad day today for me Started off with being hungry at 3am, had a mars bar when I got up and have to admit to having picked and nibbled all day long. On top of that one of our children had a major turn today, took three of us to try to subdue them, One of us got punched kicked and headbutted, one got scratched and kicked and I got head butted in my boobs. Then later on the said child managed to drop kick me right in my neck, very sore now but I suppose I'll survive - thank goodness it's only 3 working days until Christmas. Overall I think I need an early night and to forget about today.

Fell off the wagon last night with ice cream and 2 bags of hula hoops, then at 0400, woke up starving and demolished Rob's malt loaf

Back to day 1 for me. Funeral on Monday 1000.

I can't seem to get started - I need to go back to basics. Have my books all looked out for some studying. I know what i am meant to do but never do it - as I am thinking it my hand is reaching out for something to eat.

Think your job is probably harder Paula, least I only deal with 10 and 11 year olds.

One day left and then two weeks respite from them, I really love the job but as the term prgresses we get tired and now we need to recharge ourselves.

Lost the plot since coming within 6 inches of losing my life to a bus in the snow yesterday. Had been out on a visit, snow bleaching down, Gateshead all steep banks, had to get up one to get back to office, skidding all over, pulled over, hazards on, 4 cars over took me and then pulled in in front of me, then this bus tried, others got out of their cars for safety, I couldn't as bus had me jammed in, for 5 mins I thought I was going to be killed ~ worst situation I have ever been in !!

Yesterday was a really emotional day, feeling frazzled now. Last night me, Rob n my parents visited my aunt and uncle and had a really great night, topped off my a chinese takeaway

Plan ~ eating wise, go with the flow until 27/12/09 then back on it with a vengance. Buffet at work today, hitting Tescos and M&S in an hour

Still not ventured out in the dreaded snow, am going tomorrow. Enjoy your days cooking Paual, doing that tomorrow as well.

In fact today is a lazy day for me, OH finishes work tonight so there'll be no rest for the remainder of my holidays, he means well but always has to be doing something whereas I can quite happily sit with a book or DS game and lose a couple of hours.

Means my time on here will be limited too, can't get his head around me talking to 'strangers' (he can talk, I think he's stranger than most )

I successfully imitated Keith Floyd yesterday (cooking, drinking and eating) and I have been all night. So today I have had a yoghurt for my breakfast, buffet at work, then dinner tomorrow, then thats me back on wagon. I must have put a stone on in 2weeks ~ so its damage limitation until WI. As I said a few months back, it's July 10 target for me ~ not any more ~ I'm making it next Christmas now. I am entering the Great North Run with people from work and will start training in January ~ build up from slow walk to running and walking by September. So thats my pan for 2010.

Judging by the way I feel I want to shout at someone and my munching through a box of ravello's at 9am, I think its TOTM. I feel now, so have cleared cupboards of goodies and they are going to work with me.

Right sisters, got my menu planned for today ~ back to counting points. Have just written a goals list for 2010 culminating in The Great North Run on September (19th).

My goal for January is to lose what I have gained since my hols in December and hopefully a bit extra as well as eliminating the back ache which is creeping back when I walk.

Afternoon Sisters

Went into town today, OH drove I still haven't moved my car since Christmas Eve Tesco wasn't too busy, think the weather has kept people away, it's been snowing off and on all morning waste of time clearing the snow from the footpath, it's just getting covered again, I don't mind though, I actually love clearing snow, especially since I got my "proper" snow shovel

I'll be glad when all the "goodies" are finished I try and restrict my "intake" but fail miserably you're not alone Paula

so far so good today on the food front BUT having ham egg and chips for tea

You know what it's like when you fancy something and try to tell yourself you don't really want it - well it's not working, so giving in but only having a small portion. Reckoning that a little of what I want is better then 'being good' and then falling face first into the chocolates that are hiding under the coffee table.
