hello to everyone else, i hope everyone is having a good week, im not sure what result i'll be in for this week. was at my friends ann summers party on friday night and was planning on coming home straight after it finished but ended up going out with everyone else down the town and was still in the pub come closing time

lol. so who knows what damamge i'll have done on that one night alone, oh dear. plus ive got another day out in edinburgh on saturday for another friends birthday so will really have to try and be good, any tips girls?
can i just say a massive thank you to you all for the congrats on gettin past the 100pd mark last week. it was really great to know that so many people are wishing me well on the journey as im sure you all feel as well. it really does make a big difference and im my case helps me gain a wee bit more confidence too i think. your all fab!!!!!!!!!!

Its back to basics this week, after last nights WI, weighing everything and using Chaz's log to note everything down so that now it will include grams of fat etc

it looks like this will work
probably having a glass or two of wine later and going to make some sf jelly with fruit - as you can see plent of checks in hand - Good or Bad???

good on you littlefire! sounds like your well motivated this week! your planner looks really good, ive not seen that before i dont think? i think its a really good idea to post it on here as well as i know it would help me not to cheat if i knew people were checking it so to speak

WELL I LOST 2LB THIS WEEK AND TO BE HONEST I WAS NOT THE BEST,I DID DRINK MORE WATER THAN NORMAL,AND TRIED TO EXERCISE A WEE BIT, SO HOPEFULLY IT WILL CONTINUE TO COME OF

hey littlefire, its a funny feeling when you stay the same eh, im never as dissapointed as if ive gained a little but im not happy either i always hold out for a good loss the next week and i hope thats what you get

had my weigh in this morning and lost 3lb this week, so im pleased again

! my c/m told the class my overall weight loss at the meeting this morning and i got a wee round of applause, i got a wee bit of a red face but i was awfy chuffed and to tell the truth i was almost in tears, not because i was upset or anything, just that i thought it was really nice of her and the class given me a wee clap and im very chicken hearted

Hiya, well done to everyone this week. Went out for a meal last night so hopefully I wasn't too naughty. Is a prawn Thai red curry ok? I know the spring rolls weren't really. And I didn't eat all the rice. I saved about 50 checks so hopefully that will cover it. Anyway, had a good week this week so hopefully that will show on Monday night. I certainly won't be drinking as much wine this weekend as I still have the bruises from last Friday night!

its eems to have been very quite i this bit the last few days, what happened to everyone

? hows everyones week going? im gonna have to be very good the next 3 days before w/i on thursday as ive been a naughty girl at the weekend? what is it with hang-overs? is it just me who gets a serious attack of the munchies whenever im feelin rough after the night (or in the case the day) before

! well i hope your all having a better week than me so far pep wise and hopefully i'll have some more posts to read in this bit soon

After my chocolate binge of Tuesday and Wednesday I hauled back on the checks and came in only slightly over my weekly total. Glad to be back to my 65 checks a day though! Weighed in on Monday and was 4 lbs down - yipee!!!
The other change I made was to incorporate some of the principles from the Food Doctor, eat less sugar, have protein at each meal, and eat something every 3 hours. Either that and/or bringing my week in nearly at the overall checks total for the week did the trick! I couldn't follow the Food Doctor completely though, it seemed a wee bit rigid and faffy with the food preparation.

i lost 1pd this week

! couldnt believe it as i had been so bad at the weekend, i hope it doesnt show next week, will have to be extra careful this week so it doesnt!
smile i workedreally hard at the gym on tuesday and wednesday night so thats probably helped quite a lot in being able to get a loss this week. last night in particular i dont think ive ever pushed myself as hard, but i did feel really good after it though

hope you manage to get to a class at the start of the week! 3am starts must be a nightmare i imagine, when do you sleep if your working at the time

Awww Minnie well done on your loss this week, really good news
and well done on going to the gym on both nights, I really do believe that the gym does help with weight loss
As for my strange hours it has only been recently due to staff shortages, usually just day time or on some occasions split shifts, that I just completely hate, but has to be done
tomorrow I am working 6am - 1pm followed with 4pm-9pm ish (hopefully no nitemares) then on Saturday 5am-2pm and Sunday off yay, but have my brother and partner coming over on Sat night for a meal and plenty of drink, so now I have to try and work out what I am going to cook, but will be a fun night
might be easier to just get take out

Not had that good a week. Chips one night and pizza last night but I hope I've managed to make up for it elsewhere. Thank God for No-check soup!

Last night...
My brother phoned me early afternoon to inform me they couldn't come over for the evening and night due to not feeling very well, some kind of sickness bug
The day before I popped out from work to go shopping, to buy a few nibbles, Indian selection of nibbles, crisps (only one large packet) dips (only one tray) and plenty of sushi (addicted to this at the moment) and trying to stay healthy.. Anyway I ended up freezing the indian bits, gave the crisps to hubbie for work, gave the dip to my mum, and munched on some of the sushi for lunch, and the rest will last a few more days, in fact I was really proud of myself.. But then.. because we had planned to have a chinese take-out, I had nothing else in to cook, didn't fancy pasta
Sooooo we umm ended up having a fish supper that was lovely, but a bottle of champagne that had been in our fridge for months, really was the perfect evening
Today I willl just have fruit, more sushi, grilled salmon and plenty of roasted vegetables for tea, to try and claw it back a touch, ooh and visit the gym
as I am off today..
I AM going to class on Tuesday night, as did not make last week due to working

Joining class tomorrow , scales have been relegated to me Mams so its a fresh'ish start and onwards and downwards for me.

Well WI tonight and I'm pleased to report a 1.5lb loss this week
That takes me below the 18st barrier and hoping that I can get down to 17st 4 or 17st by my birthday in early April
Considering all the off pep or should I be more accurate and say over check days last week the no check meals I had (when I could) obvioulsy helped
Out on Friday night and promise to save checks up for it and stick to the lower check items (if there are any) on the buffet table and only have 1 dessert
I hope everyone has a good PEP week and I look forward to seeing your losses posted

Paula.. How did you get on at your new class tonight?
Hope everyone else have had a good day, I have to go to bed soon as working in the early hours, but if I am honest really looking forward to weigh in tomorrow night, even tho I would be happy with STS with the week I have had regarding eating out and a take out, and the odd touch of booze, but hay ho..
I was hoping to lose 4lbs within the next two weeks to make my three stone loss, within three months, but cannot see that happening, but oh well
I am still really pleased with the achievement I have made so far, why do we always want more

Six months until I go on holiday hopefully will lose 3+ stone in that time, maybe being a touch hard on myself, but I need a challenge to keep me going
(Making note to myself must go to gym 2 hrs a day for the next 6 months, to achieve personal goal) soooo not going to happen..

Didn't make it to class last night because my Gran's in the hospital (poor wee soul) so I went to see her instead. Should make it to class on Saturday morning instead. Hopefully I'll have lost somehting this week. I'm off to a wedding at the end of the month and my new dress was delivered last night and I'm scared to try it on in case it doesn't fit. I don't really do dresses so this is going to be weird. Oh well, at least its only for 1 day! Oh and I managed to walk straight past a huge display of buy one get one free tubes of Pringles and not buy any. Virtually unheard of before PEP

I STS this week, but I had to move the scales around the kitchen before they told me that!!
I went over checks on 2 days and used loads of NCLC food to balance it out. I came in only 5 checks over for the whole week so was disappointed to barely STS.
I have started off well this week so far, so hoping for a better loss next Monday.

Have been weaning myself off the fizzy juice too, as I felt it was bagging me up only had 8 cans this week, off sweets and crisps for lent and saved checks everyday, just incase of a blip.
Anyways I guess a STS is better than a gain.

Well done Smiles. Gran not great but a wee bit better. She's 92 so things hit her pretty hard. Tried dress on last night AND IT DOESN'T FIT

It looks like a size 12 from the waist up so it doesn't fit over my huge chest. Anyone got any ideas where I can get something pretty quick? I'm panicking now.

Aw, cheers Smiles. It was a gorgeous dress too. Yeah, well I finish at 1.45 on a Friday so I'll nip into town then (I work in Dundee). Hopefully I'll get something. At least there's a Debenhams, Monsoon and M&S so they should have something I can wear. If not, its jeans and a t-shirt. To be honest my friend who is getting married probably wouldn't bother if I did turn up in that

Hope you get something, I have a lovely black dress size 22 I bought for a special event last year, felt the bees knees in it but it doesn't fit me anymore.
You will be the same soon, hang in there and hopefully you get something new to wear.

Sorry I've been missing in action, but since I got back from holiday, work has been soooo busy. Well I gained 10 pounds whilst away, thats what lager, red wine and baileys do for you when you consume them every night

Thanks Flick, I'm a size 22 just now and am finding it really difficult to get nice stuff. Got loads of nice size 18 clothes in my wardrobe. Maybe in a few months............ At least I've got a really sexy pair of shoes to wear but I suppose I can't go just wearing them
