I'd appreciate your comments/suggestions on how far below target weight is recommended, I'm 3lbs below my 9stone 5 original target. At 5ft, what's a safe limit?
ANNE.

dunno realy...when i 1st lost weight my target was 9st7..which i got to fairly quickly, but at 5ft 7,i found it difficult to maintain...
rather than go by target weight, maybe it would be healthier to go by BMI.and as long as your weight is in a healthy range for your height then you will be fine

I think there is a 7 lb limit either way Clare, but no doubt someone will correct me if I'm wrong. Wish I had your problem

Hi Claire, Im sure youre CM will keep you right (thats if you go to class) I found my target weight of 9st7lb a wee bit high for my height 5ft 3 1/2 as have small frame size 4 feet, so i like to sit at around 9st (my CM is fine with this)
Hope you find a weight thats right for you (PS often your body decides too)

Thanks Anne (and everyone else) for your words of advise, my curiosity just got the better of me. I've more or less decided to stick with my current weight since I'm already 4 lbs under my target, it's now a case of stabilizing things.
The reality of where I was on July 17th - 47 lbs heavier - seems a million miles away and thankfully so. I can now look forward to Summer 2008 & beyond without feeling like that beached whale lying by the pool.

Didn't quite catch that Anne
With regards to target and below, I wonder if our CM's or class assistants could answer that one.

You really need to stay in a healthy BMI of 25-20
