unsure.gif Hello everyone,
This is my upteenth time tring to lose weight and felt I was really getting there this time but this week I've slipped. I put on half a pound at last weigh in (due to night out) then this week it sort of spiralled as I've been feeling a bit low...and comfort eating.... and now I'm dreading getting weighed next wednesday. Each day I've tried to get back on band wagon but well I've lost my positive outlook. I'm worried I'm going to slip back into my old ways and put out more weight AGAIN.

Any advice?

lost 9.5lbs since jan 08, about 5stone to go

hi bobo smile.gif

isnt it awful when you fall off the pep? you wonder how you will ever get back on!

but u will, just decide a day to start, put ure weighin day out your head at the mo, and take one day at a time, or even one meal at a time

come back here and post what you are eating, if u want, sometimes having to 'report back' stops you eating so much

hope you get back on track soon xxxx

It's very easy to slip up but stay onbaord, Yesterday I had a day of comfort eating as well but all pep friendly fry ups would you believe so stick with it...........

Thanks Mariont.

I've just got get over this blip!

I've always had the problem of tending to thinking 'glass half empty' when really I shouldn't be complaining at all!
mariont
Turn it around to 'glass half full' [without topping up of course] much nicer ring to it.

Hi everyone,
thankyou all so much for your replies. I am feeling better, deciding today is a new day and although I probably will have put on come wednesday weigh-in... I'm back on the saddle!
I've done ok so far today, (B)porridge, tea, orange,(L) banana sandwich, yogurt &berries. I'm even going to go out for a walk to clear the head! Taking one meal at a time as suggested.
cheers smile.gif

i'm a student nurse and have just spent 11 weeks workin in hosp on placement and sevearly over indulged in biscuits! sad.gif all my clothes are getting a wee bit nippy on me again. placements finished now so hopefully i'll stop gorging on biscuits and get back to normal. i normally do quite well but every time i went into staff room they were just calling out to me!
