I need to know how you Ladies cope with TOTM cravings! Do you have a favourite comfort food that keeps your eating under some sort of control,or do you just give in?
Mine's every 3 weeks-according to my GP its my age

I lost weight, my last time of the month after taking on board GP's advice of eating little and often with plenty carbs.
Also find whipping an options into a strawberry or cherry or mandarin yoghurt satisfies the choc craving

Ill have to give the options and yogurt a go,Ive run out of yogurts...
I just remembered 1 GP telling me years ago to eat cream crackers...think he ment 1 at a time, when i felt the urge to eat....a whole packet would be good right now with butter and marmite!

LOL!!! Val
I ensure I have plenty of cherries and strawberries as I always seem to crave these, also options hot choc, sometimes I just give in and have a little of what I fancy, because in the past I have found out if I do not have a little, then I end up eating the entire kitchen

I try and not crave anything so the best way for me is just to eat what I want and not worry otherwise I eat far too much of everything.

I just take an extra 10 checks per day at totm, when I'm craving more, its usually enough for a bag of crisps and a small choccy bar. taking a good multivit with iron helps too.
I'd sooner just lose a lb or sts than have a big binge and blow it

I drink loads more than usual (be prepared for many loo visits!!), i keep checks for things that i know i will crave..curly wurlys..milky way etc..i find that one of the sweet oat so simples helps too.

I don't get cravings at TOTM, I just feel a bit lethargic and am generally less careful about what I eat. Comfort more than cravings for me.
However, the absolute best therapy is to watch my calendar and increase my exercise before. Stretching is particularly good but I find I need to catch it before it begins or else I don't feel like exercising once the aches have settled in....
