Aw Cyprus sounds amazing - where abouts are you getting married? How many peeps you got coming for your ceremony?

Iv got my dress but need to sort out a band and photographer soon!! We're moving house in 2 weeks though so need to get that sorted first xx

im between paphos and protaras i think, we dnt need to decide till april, which i know isnt long away but will fly in !
At the moment there is about 35 people coming with us, friends and family, so thats gr8 too...

I have no wedding stuff organised yet, i wa waiting till the new year then im going to throw myself into it !!...Yay, this wee thead will be fabby for ideas and links and stuff......

hey all, how are you getting on?? Good to see you join up Booty!! I've had my stepdaugher here for christmas and we were just winding each up over all the wedding plans! She wants a green frock while I was prepared to compromise over the garnet and gold to navy with green trim! Anyway, I've been back online trawling the wedding sites now I don't need to shop for pressies!!!

I can't wait for the 1st Jan as we will be officially able to say 'we're getting married next year'!!! (sad,I know)

HI Guys, Im Back!!!

Sorry i havent been on in a while, just been sooooo busy! There was a bar put on pc's at work for a while so we couldnt get onto any external sites and at home ive been busy with our new puppy and doing some things to our house. But, xmas has gone and iv put on a bit of weight so im starting afresh and making craig do the same, seeing as WERE GETTING MARRIED NEXT YEAR!!!!! ha ha.

i hope yous all had a lovely xmas and new year and am glad to hear everyones wedding plans are coming on well. mines are at a standstill at the mo as all the big things are booked so nothing needs done till next yr now. hasnt stopped me spending a fortune on wedding magazines tho!!! xxx

Ooooh i have a weekend full of wedding fayres this weekend! Saturday in the invercarse hotel in dundee and sunday in the west park centre! So exciting!

Hopefully a few of the dresses i have seen will be in the fashion show as id love to see them for real rather than online!

Wedding plans - i have now paid the deposit on my dress, its sincerity 4476 and sooooo much nicer in the flesh, the pics on website dont do it any justice at all!

Weight loss - started afresh lastweek after putting back on the weight id lost and more. so lost 3lbs last week and hoping for the same again this week!

Sorry to have been awol and lurking for so long....things have just been mega hectic and work has taken up all my time!

Eeeekkkk I have 12 months and 2 weeks until I get married Cannot believe how quickly time is flying by and I have so much to organise!! Going to a wedding fayre up at the atholl palace on Sunday 26th April so hoping to get some more ideas then!

We got our photographer booked, went with Amanda Gard.... www.amandagard.com
Met her 3 weeks ago and she was lovely and her albums were so beautiful, just the kind of pics we want and not a total rip off either so very chuffed with that!! I also bought my tiara.....it matches my dress perfectly, its pearl and swarovski crystal and I got it in the sale reduced from 150 to 65 Speaing of dresses.....am trying mine on for the first time in 2 weeks and I just knwo its not even going to go up past my thighs!!!! PEP head not been totally screwed on although I have lost 11lbs.....hopefully it will give me the kick up the backside i need and realise that the weighs not going to go away by itself!!

Got my save the date cards through so have spent today writing them (am off work with an ear infection and stinking cold so thought I would do something useful!)

Anyway, how you all getting on? PEP wise and wedding plan wise? xxx

I get married in just under a year - can't believe how the time has flown and I decided this week I really need to get my finger out!! Rejoined class in February and lost 11lb, then missed class for 3 weeks due to work and used it as an excuse to eat whatever I wanted as I knew I couldn't make class result being I went back to class yesterday with a gain of 3.5lbs!! Have dug out the picture of my wedding dress and keep visualising myself fitting into that and feeling comfortable in it and that alone is keeping me on the straight and narrow just now!

Went to a wedding fayre up at my venue on Sunday and had a great day, tasting the wine thats included in my package and sampling the chocolate fountains and wedding cake (just testing for quality purposes!!!) Got alot of great ideas and am trying to get as organised as I can!

Hi Lindsey, good to see you back, this thread has been a bit quiet!

My plans are going fine, 16 and a bit months till the big day!!! it was 25 months when we booked it and has gone in quick, i thot it'd drag in!

Iv not really much else to organinsing wise till next yr. my dress is chosen and dep paid, jewellery bought, i won a voucher for bridal shoes and theres no expiry so ill get them next yr (myt lose weight off my feet lol), bridesmaids dresses are bought, i no what flowers i want, 1 of my bridesmaids are paying for them as a gift, i no what kinda cake i want and my auntys paying that as a gift, so i dont think theres anything else left to do really. itll be all go early next yr with save the date cards, making invites etc. and the boys will be trying kilts etc, cant wait!!!

weight loss isnt as good as i had hoped, but its my own fault for giving into temptation. still im 8lbs lighter then i was at start of the year so things are looking up. joined in redmoors 7lbs may challenge so hoping to do that!

wedding fayres in my area have stopped for now, so looking forward to next spring when they all come back. think theres maybe one in october november this yr so that should be good! going thru in october to see my dress again and hopefully the sample will fit better this time, from the front it looked fine but it wasnt done up at the back!

Great to see you back and well done on losing the 8lbs Thats the same as Im looking at it - iv not lost as much as I could have but im still 8.5lbs lighter than I was in January so it could have been alot worse. I got my measurements taken at class again yesterday and was pleasantly surprised -

February

Bust - 45"
Waist - 41"
Hips - 48"

April

Bust - 43.5" (lost 1.5")
Waist - 37" (lost 4")
Hips - 46.5" (lost 1.5")

Target for Dress

Bust - 39" (so need to lose 4.5")
Waist - 30" (so need to lose 7")
Hips - 40" (so need to lose 6.5")

Im going wedding shopping with 2 of my bridesmaids on Friday to Glasgow - looking at shoes, bridesmaid dresses, cakes......have already got m tiara and jewlerry but need to sort out everything for bridesmaids!

Am on day 2 of perfect PEPping and feeling really positive again - aiming for between 1.5lbs and 2lbs a week and anything else is a bonus Am also back to drinking the water again - at least 1.5litres a day and what a dfference I feel already - so much less bloated, my skin is glowing and my hair is looking healthier!

Arrrghhhh can't believe how quickly time is flying by!! xx

Hi there Lindsey and everyone else out there who are getting married, Please may I post here to get the motivation I need to keep on the straight and narrow??? I get married seventeen weeks on sat and am getting really excited and nervous. I am just about organised I think but have had a few problems along the way.

I get married at the red house hotel, in couper angus as they had a fantastic deal, my mum has made my invitations and is doing place settings and table plans for me, my uncle is doing the photography, I have my and my 4bridesmaids dresses although have had to buy another one (long story). Hair and make up for day organised, all jewellery etc bought, cake ordered cars arranged, all gifts bought apart from motb and groom flowers. Think thats just about it all

Oh I also have my wedding ring. Sorry to blabber on but thought you guys would like to hear how im getting on. If I can help and advice anyone please let me know, and thankyou in advance for your help and support xxxx

You sound super organised and prepared...whats your dress/accessories/shoes like?? Also your bridesmaids?

I was bridesmaid dress shopping on friday and found lovely long teal ones with a chocolate brown sash rounds the waist....they're on special offer for the next 2 weeks so planning on going back with all 3 bridesmaids this weekend

Also, I got my shoes aswell....had been looking at ones from rainbow club for ages and just happened to look in BHS on Friday and the exact same pair (albeit BHS own make!) were there for 1/4 of the price!! Im not one for designer labels so snapped them up!

Hows everyone else getting on both organisation wise and PEP wise?

Iv got weigh in tomorrow and hoping for a loss, had a good week and have saved checks for all my meals out/night away so should hopefully be ok! xx

Hey guys my dress is ivory with red through it from eternity bride, my 4 bridesmaids are wearing cranberry so we all look stunning together, my veil is sholder length with cream and red beads to match dress as is my tiara., I also managed to get a fantastic deal on my flowers (imitation) They are also red and ivory but have loads of little beads coming from them, mines is a drpping boughet and my girls match but in posy. I got all five plus p&p £200 through an ebay shop.

I struggle to walk in shoes so have a nice little heel and a little detail on front, as soon as I seen them I knew they were the ones. ( also bought white crocs for night incase feet get too sore )

Got all my dreese etc from abrdial dream in carnoustie, I would reccomend Nyona to anyone she has been a rock to me through all my tough planning .

Weigh in last night I put on 2 and a half pounds so not happy about that, but got up today very positive and am aiming for a pound a week, so I can and Will be 1 and a half stone lighter for my wedding. Hope you all have a great week xxxx

Hows your planning going? Any more developments?

We have eventually got around to booking our honeymoon

We are going to Canada, something we have always wanted to do, for 2 weeks Neither of us wanted the 'typical' beach honeymoon as we both get bored really easily so this is ideal for us!

We are flying to Vancouver, staying there for 6 nights then hiring a car and driving through the rockies to Calgary (taking a total of 4 days) then flying to Toronto for 4 days before flying back home! Really cannot wait

The only hotel we are really splashing out on and have booked already is a night at this hotel right on Lake Louise....

TF - my dress is georgeous, would reccomend to anyone I was lucky and escaped the tax but think its because they packet it very small and didn't let on what it was!! What styles are you looking at?
