hello sir
HI everyone, not been on here for a while. Fiance bought me thi sims game and im totally addicted!!

ope everyone is well! Havent weighed myself this week as scales at work have been sent away to be callibrated. iv been really good EXCEPT when i was hungover on sunday i went to jimmy cheungs. bad bad girl!

Lyndsey and Mairi - How are the plans coming on?

I think i may have found bridesmaid dresses already. walked past them in debenhaams 2 weeks ago and just loved it. and only £60, so instead of paying £420 for 3 like i was gonna, id be £180 for 3! The girls are trying them on this sat so fingers crossed. Far too soon, i klnow, but cant miss out on a deal like that.

Started looking at photographers but oh my god their so expensive, fees starting from £1760 for 24 fotos in an album!!!!!!!! Now, i know their good, but im not bad at taking fotos and would never charge that, jeezo!

Apart from that, no more plans as yet!xx
Jane39
Hi, I joined the site today and hoping for good things!! I'm getting married on the 9 April 09, this is a second marriage for both of us thats probably why my date is much nearer than everyone elses!!! shucks.gif I have about 4 stone to loose, I know I won't get to target for the wedding, but even just to loose 2 stone would be fantastic.

I ordered my dress in July, but decided to get the size that fitted me then as it can get taken in and I was worried that if I knew I had to loose weight I wouldn't do it!!

Everyone is doing so well with their weight loss, hopefully this will inspire me!

Thanks, Jane
hello sir
HI jane,

Congratulations on getting married! Welcome to SS And good luck for losing weight, im sure youll manage fine.

Youll have to post ur wedding details on here so we can all go gushy and excited lol. Where are you getting married?xx
curlywurly
Welcome to the forum Jane! Scottish Slimmers is fab and you can certainly lose 2 stone by your wedding! Any questions, just ask!

Lindsay - My plans are slow!! I have somebody to do the cake (priorities eh? y_whistle.gif ) but no date yet. I have hols a week Friday so hopefully will be able to get cracking! I noticed some nice dresses in Debenhams too actually. They have some gorgeous things.

Cannot believe the price of photographers. Man alive, we would like a lovely album but not at that price!!! y_woot.gif

Hope you're all well!

Thanks Jane hug.gif

And other Jane, welcome to the forum! Feel free to post away and get involved!

Lindsay and Mairi, how you both doing? Know what you mean about photographers (Lindsay was that Amanda Gards quote?) I'm looking at Louis Flood and he's 1250 for a full 40 photo album and a copy of all the prints in a preview album which is quite reasonable I think!

We've not done anything else the past few weeks, been so busy and now I'm not well so will get back into it soon!

Hope you're all well xx

Hi

Thanks for the welcome. Can't belive how organised you all are. The dresses are stunning. I'm getting married at Eastwood House, Kenny's cousin is marrying us there and then we'll have the meal and reception there as well. Trying to get a cellidh band, Kenny from Scalpay in the Outer Hebrides, so that should go down well with his numerous relations. Any suggestions gratefully received!

This is a link to my dress. Its the picture in the middle. I don't think its a particularly good picture, don't intend to be that pouty! ....... you'll see what I mean when you see it! You have to imagine it with a bit more curves!!

http://www.fantasiabridalabingdon.co.uk/bridal12.htm

We had looked at photographers and decided it was just too much, but managed to find a photogrtapher for £395. He's local to Glasgow, when we met with Roy he was saying that most of his work is in Europe and he's trying to establish himself in Scotland. Think thats why he was so reasonable. We're just going for the basic package, but what I like is he gives you up to 200 pictures on a disc and the copy right so we can go anywhere to get them printed. We're getting married on the thursday before good Friday, then going up to Scalpay to have a 2nd reception, as Kenny's mum can't manage down for the wedding. Another excuse to wear my dress! Roy is going to print off a couple of pictures the day after the wedding so that we can take them up north. His web page is below:

http://www.europhotographic.com/weddings/

For favours I'm doing tablet ones...... every one loves tablet, so don't need to worry about different ones for the men and women! Going to get the wee coloured net bags and put sweets in them for the children. I managed to find boxes for the tablet that we got personalised with our name and date of the wedding for only £33 for 150 boxes. I know there advertised as cake boxes, but there ideal for what we're looking for:

http://homeshopping.24studio.co.uk/gifts-c...gifts/wedding/1

Still to get a caterer, cake..... and so much more!!

Its so nice to go on about the wedding and not see someones eyes glaze over!!!

Ahhh Jane, know the feeling!!! laugh.gif

Your dress is georgeous and what a reasonable price for photographer as well 2thumbs.gif

For bands we're wanting a half and half band!! First half of the evening ceilidh then after the break 'normal' music! We're looking at Firstclass Showband

http://www.firstclassshowband.co.uk/home.htm

and they've come recomended! Don't know any 'proper' all out ceilidh bands though!

How you getting on with the PEP?

Lindsay, hope you've not been eaten by that Simms game and hope you're still getting on ok y_shock.gif 2thumbs.gif

Mairi, how you getting on?

I'm feeling a bit better, back to work today and back on the PEP wagon as well 2thumbs.gif Long may it continue! xx

hello sir
HI Guys,

Jane - Your wedding dress is gorgeous! And thats a great price for the photographer!!! Im gonna have a look at the website in a minute! And those cake boxes are ideal fot what im looking for, we fancy home made scottish fudge in little boxes (our menus is kinda scottish, haggis etc so itd go well), and were gonna do whisky miniatures for the guys.

Lindsey - I am sooooo addicted to the sims! My girl has now got married, had a baby naturally, and adopted one, its great!

I managed to get my bridesmaids dresses, this one http://www.debenhams.com/webapp/wcs/stores...18773_690135_-1

the pic doesnt do it any justice, the girls werent 100% keen when i showed them it but when they tried them on they loved them. should really get my dress 1 st but hey ho. I myt get myself a halterneck wedding dress now, which i hadnt considered before, so looking forward to shopping for it next year!

hope everyones well xx
smile&behappy4
Aww Lindsay those bridesmaid dress are fantastic and what a great price as well 2thumbs.gif

Have to admit, I have never played the Simms ever before, sounds quite fun! Mmmmmmm fudge, how delicious! We've not chosen our menu yet properly but we have the option of chieftan chicken which is chicken stuffed with haggis but don't think we're going to go for it as haggis is quite an aquired taste I think and don't know how many of our guests would eat it! Same with our starters, alot of the choices are fish based (e.g smoked salmon) so think we're going to opt for melon then soup (as we're having four courses) as a safer option!

How's evyone geting on PEP wise? I've had a dreadful two weeks and am notlooking forward to class this morning as know it will be a big gain - am so bloated and look pregnant!! y_shock.gif Hate the way my skin and hair is as well (its amazing how much of an effect eating c**p can have so quickly!) so back on track yesterday! Have a hard week though as going to Gleneagles Hotel for a meal tomorrow, meeting my friend for dinner Thursday then going out for Kev's birthday on Friday blink.gif Will plan as best I can, know I won't be able to save enough to cover it all but can certainly minimise the damage!

Have a great day x

TBird-Audrey
I just love reading this thread. It's an exciting time for you all smile.gif
Jane39
Hi

Thanks for the lovely comments.

Lindsey your band looks great, fantastic idea to have half and half. Do you mind if I ask was it quite expensive? We're on quite a tight budget, but i do love the idea of having half cellidh;and half band.

Lindsay never thought of doing whisky minatures for the guys, great idea. My bridesmaids mum makes fantastic tablet so we're putting that in the boxes, wrapped in greaseproof paper and then red tissue paper...... to bulk out the box!! My bridesmaids dresses are in claret, not managed to find a picture, but will post once I find one. Your bridesmaids dresses are georgeous, I love the colour. What are you going to get your bridesmaids to wear in their hair, if anything.... struggling to make a decision on this. We're going for a scottish theme for the food as well, was out for my birthday last week and I had chicken stuffed with black pudding, was delicious. Kenny says the black pudding has to come from Stornoway as they make the best!!

Well today was my first weigh in and can't believe that I've lost 5lbs!!!! I think part of it was I had breakfast last week before I weighed myself. Joined online last week when I struggled tofasten another pair of trousers!Trying not to see this as a diet, but as helathy living!!

Hope your all doing well

Jane xx
TBird-Audrey
Our daughter had whisky miniatures for the menfolk, and small baskets with tartan ribbon (same tartan as her hubby's kilt was) and small lilac flowers (to match her colour scheme) with almonds in for the ladies. She had thistles and heather in her flowers, the whole colour scheme was based on MY outfit (it was one of the things that was bought first) y_rasp.gif
hello sir
Jane thats a fantastic weight loss, well done!

Thanks, I love my bridesmaids dresses, and the colour is exactly what iv been looking for to go with the mens blackwatch tartan. I dunno what to do with their hair. Originally their hair was gonna be down and curly, but with the dress being halter neck, myself and them would like their hair up. You get some nice hair diamond things, their small and u only really notice them when the light shines on them. They sound tacky but their not, they glam the hair up a bit.

We want ivory boxes for the fudge, with blackwatch tartan ribbon round, as thats the same as the guys kilts again. Im also having ivory invites, menus etc with black watch tartan ribbon, or navy ribbon (same as bridesmaids dresses) on them. Theres a website where u can get miniture btls of whisky and they do them with your names, date of wedding and venue on the label. cant remember the website tho.

Our band is called eat the peach and is £1250 for 5 hours. Im not really into ceilidhs and dont have a clue how to do the gay gordons even tho ive tried a million times, but his family love a good scottish jig so their gonna do ceilidh for and hour then just normal for the rest.

Havent fully decided on the flowers yet, but my pals mum is doing them. she used to be a florist for markies but retired and now does floral art and enters competitions etc. at the reception were having glass bowls on the tables (like fish bowls) with cream flowers and thistles in, and myself and bridesmaids boquets will have the same as whats in the bowls. Bridesmaids boquets will be all cream tho, mines will be cream flowers with thistles etc.

Black pudding DEFINITELY has to be from stornoway. My pals man is a chef (at the hotel im getting married at) and he said stornaway black pud is the best so thats what hes getting us.

Theres a wedding fayre in carnoustie ths weekend and one in dundee the next so going to both of those cant wait!!!
smile&behappy4
Bumping this up to remind myself why I need to get my ass in gear and get back to basics....I have a georgeous dress to fit into and am not going to ruin my day wishing I'd lost the weight!

So fresh start Monday for me tomorrow!

Hows everyone else getting on?

Lindsay, how did you get on at the wedding fayres? xx
JanieR
Hope your all doing well girls.

Hi everyone! Hope you're all doing ok.

We've made a wee bit of progress - I have some wedding brochures for hotels so trying to decide on venue plus a suitable date. Ian is from Birmingham but is really keen to wear a kilt. We're going for Hunting Macleod (mum's maiden name so she's chuffed about that!) Hopefully by lunchtime I'll have a bridesmaid too. Meeting my best mate for coffee and I'm going to ask her.

I'm growing my hair. It's very curly (hence the name!) and when it's longer the curls aren't as mad!

Just a quick post just now. Off to Glasgow for the night and looking forward to serious retail therapy tomorrow. Good luck with your fresh start today Lindsey.

Take care everyone

Hi guys, I have just stumbled across this thread, its fabby! Ive only been doing SS for a few weeks, but I cant beleive I have never found this thread. Ive read lots but never joined in with any, but since im getting married next year I thought this one would be appropriate! I have read through most of the thread and I cant beleive how organised everyone is. Everyones venues and dresses and cakes etc all look gorg! And reading about the proposals were just lovley, it brought back memories of my own. I think small personal proposals are soo much better!

I just wanted to say to Lynsey that me and my OH went to Egypt this year for our hols and it was an excellent hol, great hotel on the beach front, fantastic weather and excellent trips, but a word of warning please take something with you for stomach cramps and diahorrea, doesnt sound nice but does happen as I found and had to spent a fortune on getting stuff from the pharmacy! Think it was just a mixture of the extreme heat and not drinking enough water. Anyway onto better things, last year we went to Turkey and we stayed in the Blue Bays Deluxe Hotel and Spa, and undoubtedly, the best hotel we have ever stayed in, it is sheer luxury and exaclty what you would want for your honeymoon, so you have had made a good choice!

I dont have much longer to wait now as im getting married 5th Feb 09, we only booked ours last Feb and it has come around so quickly. Its a small affair with only 30 close family and friends attending but we are having a large 2nd reception 2 days later. We are getting married at the Anvil Hall in Gretna http://www.gretna-bride.co.uk/
We have hired all the rooms in one of the small family hotels close by as we will be staying over after the meal and the reception http://www.solwaylodge.co.uk/ I think im quite organised but there are still a few things to do but at the moment my time has been taken up with our house move. We move in less than 2weeks and although im sooooo excited as we will be moving into a brand new dream house I feel like I havent got enough hours in the day or days in the week to get everything done. We both have a week off work to get as much done with the house as possible, but with xmas and new year looming there is so much preparation for that too. Im starting to stress out big time, which isnt helping my weight loss situation any!

2nd weigh in tommorow and im not looking forward to it, wish me luck!

smile&behappy4
Welcome to the thread mrspotts2be 2thumbs.gif I'm from perth too....you lived there long? You got your dress sorted?! How are you finding the PEP? Do you go to class or 'go it alone'? Sorry for the 20 questions laugh.gif

Mairi, how did you get on at lunch? You have a bridesmaid?! What sorts of venues/dates you thinking about?

Pleased to say I'm back on track and day has been great so far - forgot to weigh in this morning as was up at 5am for work so will weigh in tomorrow and update the gain on my ticker pinch.gif Not dwelling on it though - at least Im back on track and doing something about it!

Hope you've all had a great day xx
MrsPotts2b
Ive have lived in Perth for exactly 2yrs on the day we move! We originally moved thru as my partner was the senior store manager for the Lidl through here. He spent so much time and money on travelling that we decided to move for a few years, but im pleased to say that he has had a big prmotion which is why we are moving, back to Fife where we come from. Yeah I am going to a class, I usually go the Tuesday morning class at the A K Bell Library, although this is the last week we are doing it there as the venue has been changed to the Salutation Hotel. The class manager is great and the class is always busy with friendly people so I do enjoy it, and I think id cheat more if I were to go it alone. I only have this week and next at these classes then i will join one in Leven with my mum.

I do have a dress picked and ordered but im not getting it made until the end of November, I ordered it from a discount place that does copies of designer ones at a fraction of the price, and they say that they only need six weeks maximum to put it together so Novemebr will give me time to send away my new and improved measurments, have it delivered and make any small alterations that it still may need for it to fit perfectly!

I wish I could give my full attention to just the one thing, the house move or the wedding, or the PEPing but I just have to get stuck in and hope for the best!
smile&behappy4
I usually go to the tuesday morning class at the library - Lyn is FAB!! Just started a new job beginning of September though and really struggling to make it to class every week! Have probably seen you in the class before!!

I too ordered my dress from a discount place online who replicate designer ones - they had it made and delivered from America in 3 weeks y_shock.gif got it for £212 instead of the £1200 the actual designer one was!

You have so much on your plate - know what you mean about wanting to focus on one thing!

How are you finding the PEP? x

WEll I have only been going to the classes for a few weeks now, next week will be my last one here and then I will move so I will change classes, but Lyn has jsut told us that she is doing a class in Cardenden now on a monday night which is great as its only a few mins drive along the road from me.

Those discount places are great eh, my friend told me that she found a dress exactly like the one I tried on and for only £215 and I never beleived her until I saw it for myself, such an amazing find, dont think I could ever have brought myself to pay over 1k for a dress! I was going to order it in a smaller size but when they said that it only takes up to 6wks to dispatch I thought I would wait. Im going to order it next month as by then I should be a size smaller, and I might order it in a size smaller again as hopefully by Feb I should be another size smaller. The only thing that was worrying me about ordering it online was getting the length correct, im only 5ft but I will be wearing 4nhaf inch heels(only coz my partner is 6ft 1) and I just hope the length will be correct, I emailed them and they told me exaclty how to do the measurements so I am a little but more calm now! Im looking forward to getting it.

I have to say my peping has been going ok, my first week I was told I wasnt eating enought and had to use all my checks, so last week I made a point of using as much as possible but then I only lost 1lb and had expected in my 2nd week to lose a bit more, but I was then told that I wasnt eating regularly enough, i.e up from 4am and not eating until sometimes midday!!! This week though my work pattern has been so much better and since Monday passed I have had breakfast everday before work so im hoping this really makes the difference! Only Tuesday will tell, its weigh in day!

Loving this thread, reading all about your exciting wedding plans and the support you are giving each other....best of luck ladies and I'll be popping in now and again to see you are all getting on xx
curlywurly
Welcome to the thread MrsPotts2b!! Everyone is so organised apart from me - I don't have a date yet! I must be positive though, I have my bridesmaid (still undecided whether to ask my cousin) and I have the cake sorted!! Hee hee! I am only five foot myself so I understand your worry about the dress. Did you see yours in a shop before you ordered it? Really interested in these designer replica dresses. Not tried any on yet but target is slowly edging closer so I think I might start. Have to get one that hides my flabby arms!

Lindsey, we are looking at the hotels nearby. Trying to get rough numbers sorted. Keeping them as low as possible but it's proving difficult. I think we'll have to be ruthless. Still trying to persuade Ian to have a church wedding. I think (I hope) I'm convincing him but he only wants very close family there. I can compromise with that if he's willing to have it in church. The only problem is how would I word the invites? I suppose I'd have to say something like 'at the wedding reception of....' I'm sure there's a way round it!!
Hope your new start with the PEP is going well. You will do it!

Catch up with you all soon.

Long time no post on here!!

Hows everyone getting on? Any more plans made or ideas thought of??

I'm on holiday this week and am going shopping in Glasgow tomorrow with my mum - we're going to go to a few wedding shops to get ideas for bridesmaid dresses and try on some shoes 1983.gif Am also going into the Confetti shop to pick up some ideas for invites and to get our chocolate brown disposable cameras - 10 for £25 which is a pretty good deal!

For bridesmaid dresses I'm thinking of using the Alfred Angello website - all my bridesmaids are totally different builds - I have one short, skinny and blonde, my sister is tall, slim and brunette and my cousin is much bigger build and body conscious so I don't want to pick one dress and have them uncomfortable in it. The AA site has the perfct colour I'm looking for (tealness) and was thinking of just letting each bridesmaid pick the style of dress they want - don't mind if they are all different as long as they are the same colour - would rather they like them and felt comfortable in them rather than having them all matching exactly!

PEP wise going well, enjoying it again and have settled into a routine at work which has helped - 1.5lb off today so 4lb off since I started again 2 weeks ago 2thumbs.gif

Hope you're all getting on ok xx

Tutti Frutti
Hi guys,

I'd like to joing the challenge too please. I'm getting married on 31st July 2010 and booked the Salutation Hotel in Perth yesterday...but that's as far as I've got!!

We actually got engaged last christmas day but its been quite a hectic year between one thing and another so I'm only just getting round to planning now - egged on by my stepdaughter-to-be/chief bridesmaid I might add!!

Saying that it's good to have others who are going through the same thing.

Lindsey - your dress is spectacular! I had seen those websites and was unsure how good they would be. I've got a lot of weight to get off so I'm going to wait until next year before I buy something but I've got a rough idea of what I would like - and a couple of stone off is definately required!! I've just started back on pep so am motivated and have done well the past few days.

Anyway, it's a miserable afternoon here in Perth so I'm off to have a look at some of the great websites

lots of love

Scoobs xx

Welcome Scoobs! This is a great thread and I've got loads of ideas of the others! Well done on having a venue booked. That's a big tick on the list!

Well done on the weight loss Lindsey, that's good going. I'm fancying a deep green (I think) colour for the bridesmaids but not quite seen THE colour yet! I'm having major probs trying to find a dress that'll hide my arms. Only seen two with sleeves that I like. O the joys. We've decided on a venue and they have a few dates next July (OMG!!!) available. Don't know whether to be brave and book it........
Before I forget......I was in the Confetti shop last weekend. Got loads of ideas for invitations. Check the date on the disposable cameras as some had dates of April 09 on them. In the end I didn't buy anyone as I was unsure what colour to choose to go with the green!!!!!

Enjoy the rest of your weekend everyone.

Mairi, have just read your blog and wanted to say huge well done on your 3lb loss this week 2thumbs.gif FANTASTIC!!! Any more plans made or dates considered??

Lindsay, know you're busy with work and haven't been on recently but pop on when you get a chance and keep us up to date!

I got my wedding dress box yesterday (its HUGE and one of the acid free ones to keep it nice!!)

http://www.thebeautifulboxco.co.uk/acatalo...torage_Box.html

(the first one, with a chocolate brown ribbon 1983.gif ) so my dress is now fully protected and packed away for a while - as I ordered it 2 sizes smaller than I currently am, have decided the first time I try it on will be exactly 1 year before the wedding so I have 5 months to lose as much as I can before the forst fitting!!

We're really struggling to make decisions on photographers and bands - so many to choose from and don't want to make a mistake!

Got my bridesmaids coming round tonight for a girly night in and another look at dresses and stationary etc - really looking forward to it!

As for my PEP, am loving it again and feel totally in control - was out for tapas last night and for the first time in ages was able to pick a bit of what I fancied, still stay with checks and enjoy the chat and company 2thumbs.gif Really looking forward to WI on sunday, hoping for 3lb off to get my half stone!

Anyone else got any more news to share....want to hear all your plans and how your PEP's coming on!!! xx
Gembob1234
Hi CB, I'm getting married near Aberdeen. Just bought my dress...so exciting!!! Where are you getting married?
Gembob1234
guys, can somebody please tell me how you create a personal profile???

Tutti Frutti
Hi all,

Well I've had a good start to getting into my wedding dress - 9lb off in the first week!

I must say, I've been looking at the dresses on the wholesale website that Lindsay used and it had the same dress that I had already seen on www.blushnblooms.co.uk website who are based in Fife so I think it's a sign that it is definitely the one for me!! Anyway, its been a great incentive although I'll still wait until next year before ordering it as I want to see how the weight loss goes before I get too carried away!!

One other plus is that I think we've got a colour scheme finally agreed - garnet red with gold.

Lindsay - did you see the pictures of the doc from Holby City who is on strictly just now as his bride had her bridesmaids in brown and they are absolutely gorgeous. I also loved her bouquet with berries and cream roses.

Good luck on the weightloss and planning this week!

Scoobs xx

Morning everyone,

How we all getting on today?

Chuffed as lost 2lb yesterday - have 13lbs still to go for my christmas challenge and have 5 WI's left so think its still do-able 2thumbs.gif

Gem, how exciting - what's your dress like?? To create a personal profile, you click on 'home' then 'my account' then edit personal profile' (I think!!)

Scoobs, colour scheme sounds lovely and I would definately reccomend the website, fantastic service and product 2thumbs.gif FANTASTIC loss too, what a start - definately a great way to stay motivated and put in another great week! I never saw those pics but sounds lovely!

Have a great day everyone xx

Hiya

I tried my dress on again at the weekend to show future M-in law. I love love love it! It's silver, and a little tight at the mo but could prob get away with it if the worse came and i never lost any weight, but I WILL!!!! I haven't thought of a colour scheme yet regarding bridesmaids etc, maybe purple or green..

Scoobs...garnet and gold sounds amazing...when is the big day? and 9lb in the first week, an incentive for me i must say

Lindsey, i'd get your band sorted soon as the good ones go really quickly (Learnt from my own experience there! Where are you getting married?

Where are you getting married Gem? Where's your dress from? x

Thanks Nicky, nice to see you dropping by!

Well, no more plans as yet as our time is being taken up with buying our first house (moving in 9th January!) and have so much to sort out as well as working manic hours before Xmas!!!

I have exactly 20 weeks until I try my dress on for the first time (although I have it already I bought it 2 sizes smaller and no way would it even get past my knees just now!!) so my aim is to be as near to target as I can by then - know its a tough challenge but think its do-able - about 2lb a week!

Hos everyone else getting on? xx

Hi,

I must admit that wedding plans have come to a bit of a halt with Christmas round the corner. I did however get a fabulous pair of diamante shoes in the Debemnhams sale last week that I will put aside unless I see something better later on!!

Weight loss has been steady but becoming more difficult, particularly with all the nights out and lunches that are on right now!

Gems, I'm originally from the north east and Fyvie Castle is a lovely place for a wedding.

Well have a good week everyone.

Scoobs xx

Hello all you other 'weddingers' and to those dropping by butterfly.gif Well Christmas is been and gone and boy oh boy do I need to get back on track!! Feel so bloated and yuk - had my dress out yesterday to show my auntie and cousin (one of my bridesmaids) and lets just say it was a reality shock to be reminded of how much I still have to lose to fit into it BUT that is exactly what I am going to do - have come home tonight and have written a huge PEP friendly shopping list and am going at 8am to get it all in and tomorrow marks the start of my serious wedding dress slim down plan!!

On a brighter note my cousin has kindly offered (well agreed!) to make our invitiations/order of service/seating planner etc biggrin.gif she is so talented and is studying art and design at Uni so thats a fantastic help!

We took her and my auntie up to our venue today for lunch and they loved it - I really can't wait until our big day - only 16 months to go!!!

Hows everyone else getting on? xx

I love reading about all your wedding plans, and looking at the links that you all post. There wasn't anything like that when we got married (we just had our 29th anniversary on the 8th December)
