Good Morning Musketters hope evreyone is raring to go. I am I have set myself a target of 9 stone and 6 lbs so I'm gonna get at least 1/2 way there this year basing that on a1lb a week weight loss. Have been to the gym already this morning on a late shift at work 3 til 8 time I go to get up off my seat i'll not be able to move lol
. gonna have my main meal before I go to work and a lunch when I come home hopefully all the sweets in the team will have been eaten before I get in
so I'm not tempted . Good luck to everyone and lets be positive and take today as it comes. (sweet free !!!!!!!!!!!!!)

Afternoon all! Back at work today and I want to go home already
Hate the first day back after a holiday..
I've worked out I've got another 5st 1 lbs to lose to get to my target... which means if I can keep up a loss on 1.5lbs a week I could be there for the end of the year! I am determined - this christmas was my last fat one! (although it was much slimmer one than a few in the past)Well done to everyone who has already had WI and good luck to those still to go
I've got everything planned for breakfasts and lunchs this week so this will be my first pep perfact day in quite a while... going to walk down into town to met my bf after work which is about 25mins and I've joined the wii fit challenge so I've got no excuses!
Have a good day everyone!! xx

I'll be honest and say I'm not setting any o/a targets but hoping to loose (after WI tonight) at least 1lb say 3 weeks out of 4
If I loose more than that I'll be chuffed
Sometimes we set ourselves goals which - though we want them - are too big and maybe a little unrealistic - then we end up disappointed and fall off the 'scales' and just end up worse off
Don't look at the big picture take the year in our 10 week blocks - that said - if I loose over these 10 weeks I'll be happy - if I loose more than 7lbs I'll be estatic

Hey everyone,
Great to see you are all motivated and raring to go!!!!
Like you say Ethne the 10 week block is a great way to look at it and not focus on the year.
I do my target in 2 stages, I know what the big picture is, but I am focussing on the challenge (Little picture), they work great together.
Anyways just had my lunch and so far so good for me.
Haven't been to the gym but my pedometer tells me I have walked two miles so far today.
Will maybe get to the gym later but will see how work goes first.
Will check in later, have a great day everyone, especailly those getting weighed.

Yes, I do know what you mean, unfortunatly... I think maybe I'm getting carried away with myself!
This is probably much more realistic sounding.... 14lbs in the 10 weeks. If I get more then that would be fab but I wont worry if I don't. I'd like to be down to a size 16 for my birthday at the begining of May which I think should be do-able - what do you think? Any advice greatly appreciated!

Afternoon all....
Just back from the town, went to McDonalds but counted it all in

double batch of free soup cooking

no gym today - will go tomorrow after my interview.

Evening All
Had a good day today so far in fact only used 36 checks so need to have some supper before bed, cough still not shifted so no gym today but we took the pram (with the baby in it lollllll) and the dog for a walk this afternoon for about 45 mins or so, its a start I guess.
Did my Asda shopping on line yesterday so all my Pep friendly food comes tomorrow, I'll be spoilt for choice.
I have just been reading the posts and been thinking...............((tumbleweed))............ I havent really set myself any targets, other than I want to be back in my pre preganancy clothes by the time I go back to work in June but thats it.
Having quite a lot to lose I think if I set myself a target of 2lb a week then that should be do-able but from experience I know some weeks I might lose 1lbs and other I might lose 3lbs so if I lose 20lbs over the ten weeks then I'l be ONE HAPPY BROXI.
Happy Pepping Muskateers xx

WI tonight - 3 lbs on - I'm not changing my glitter until I've got a total of more that 38 lbs since starting
So as they say New Year - New You - well it will be by the end of 2009
Off now to fill in my PEP chart plus for the first time in MONTHS I've managed 8 225ml glasses of water / ns dil juice today - just need to crack the exercise nut
Didn't do the Tae-bo - too late when I got in and too cold to strip off
For those who have slipped today - note down what made you do it and maybe you'll remember when you go to pick up that creme egg or go for a big mac next time - I know the first day back at work after the break is a downer but it's by with now
One thing I'm going to try and get organised is taking in something for lunch each day - that way I won't be tempted with biscuits and cake

Morning All
Another good day for me yesterday, homemade soup was fabby........managed to get hubby to eat (and enjoy) mince and tatties for the first time ever. Total comfort food yesterday, it was so cold lol......... but well within checks.
Good luck with the job CC, the waiting is the worst isn't it?
Everyone is doing so well, even counting the naughty stuff and staying within checks, which is a great reminder to us all that there is nothing we cant have IF we count it.
Made a deal with my nephew, we are getting back to the gym tomorrow. Will be good even if I cant work as hard as normal with this stinky cough, at least I will be getting back into it.
xxx
Yeah your right MB the waiting is the worst, put in for another few jobs to so fingers crossed!!!!
Just back from the gym, worked my ass off and boy does it feel good. Got 18 checks saved so having some wine tonight all bloody counted and will still have some checks left over for some snackage

Better be careful or my halo might slip and choke me
MB - last year i had a few bad coughs/chest infections and I went to the gym a few times. I didnt overdo it but my chest/lungs felt better cos they has opened after the exercise.
Happy pepping everyone...

OMG I'm even heavier than I thought 8lbs to be exact

anyway no point in moaning it's done now and nobody shovelled the food into my mouth except me

Lorraine that's a fantastic weight loss well done.
Think I'll stick to walking the dog till I shift some weight then consider going to gym.
Have to go now and start kids homework but will call back tonight for some postive inspiration

Hi all, been busy today, just heading off to Curves, 2nd time this week, will update when I come back.....xxx
Is curves good? I'm not sure about the gym... do you enjoy it? xx
Back from Curves, it was great - still buzzing from the endorphins. They have a new stretch machine and I got shown what to do on it - it is fab!! Can really feel the stretches compared to before, just doing them on the mats.
I will go back either tomorrow or Thursday, then again on Saturday, making it 4 times this week.
I am being PEP perfect too, plus I walked to toddlers this morning, which is a mile each way.
Hope you are all still being good.
Elle - as you can see I love Curves, it's different from your "normal gym" and it's all female, so I don't feel uncomfortable. It's also a circuit, not treadmills etc. I would never in my wildest dreams thought I would love the gym, in any form, but I am addicted........

Exercise and PEP are definately the way to go!!

PC on a go slow here in work this morning - so I've not got folk sorted out on eat charts yet - if I don't get it done at lunchtime I promise to do it tonight at home
Sorry I didn't get on line last night - too b***y angry - but that's another story other than that had me nibbling on cheese and things - so probably a BAD day yesterday - but over with now
I'll see how things go today and get charts etc filled in and sorted if I can, loads of emails to catch up on
See you late tonight

Morning! Can't believe it is wednesday already... this week seems to be flying in
How is everyone today? I had another pep perfect day yesterday and I'm raring to go today. I'm hoping the rain stays off so I can go for a brisk walk round the park at lunchtime.
CB - Thanks, I might go for a look round curves and see what I think... it sounds a bit different to normal gyms which normally put me off the idea.Cheeky, Flick is right about just feeling hungry somedays... I was still hungry on Saturday and I had definetly eaten much more than my checks for the day
Off to fill in my eats for today and then I better do some work.
Have a good day everyone! xx
