morning all!!
well i as up at 9:30 this morning, well chuffed with that as feel like im not wasting day. gonna tidy room whilst cathcing up with the biggest loser then head to abs blast and a swim see if that losens mmuscles. all my shoulder muscles are feeling it as well as upper thighs. but its a good sore tho. persueaded my freind to come with me again too. so going to aim for 40 lengthes, last time i did swimming that only took me 45 mins. so i aming for a min of 40 lenghts in an hours and if i have time to do more then i will. then just build it up.
got some new bread yesterday its soooo nice its seed and rye or something well tastey

just had a sandwich with it for breakfast. a couple of cups of tea.
cant think of what i want for dinner, i hae butternut squash chips that i have prepared, could i have that on its own like you would a normal bowl of chips or should i have something with it. at min been really wanting to eat loads in evening and find it difficult to resist over eating when i have no checks left so was thinka cehck free lunch would be good then a snack, normal dinner then pudding and depending on what left over i can save or eat. i'm loveing bnsquash chips at min there so moreish.
does anyone know if sweeds/turnips are no checks or not, what about parsnips???
ok off to do an hours of tidying then go to gym
if i can actually move later then will be on to let you know how it goes lol. have no idea wat body conditioning is jaci but will go on wednesday and let you know

it gives me a reason to go if i have to report back so pretend like your really interested and your life depends on me going to this class so you know what its like....basically guilt me into it!!!! lol
OH guess what!! Dad was telling me about this graduate training prgram that the NHS are doing, the pay you to do one the job management training for 2 years then garuntee a job for 12 months after that, and the give you the opertunity to do a health and profesional leadership master degree at same time. how awesome does that sound so really hoping i get a 2:2 now so i can apply. would love to do that as it would give me soemthing interesting to do and earn some money too AND with any money i can save i can do the Applied biomed masters in manchester after the 3 years are up. so feeling good about that, gonna check it out more in a bit.

My Aunti has just been down and is coming to Combat tonight and my cousins wife came to Toning yest, so tomorrow night there will be 5 of us going to Toning - Russ says I wont be happy until I have converted the whole world loll.

had a really good day, so far have only had 20 checks. 10 for sandwich and 10 for soup and bread then just had some butternut chips and an edb yoghurt. so got 30 left. think will have singapore chicken with extra vege whcih will be 16. which leaves 14 left for pud, again will have cake wich is 10 and a wee skoosh of cream which will be 1. so will have 3 left over. so will either save or have a wee hot choc later depend on how i feel. but still saved 5 again today so that good and am still to have EDB fruit.
on an other good note i have discovered that my mondays work out will be abs blast then hours swim. abs blast was only half an hour but it really worked tummy and really really feeling it just now and then i did 40 lengths in 55 mins, found it hard cos forgot my goggles and could do proper lenghts untill i just decided to tough it out and open my eyes under water. ws really pleased with that so think will give body vive a miss tomorrow and go for a swim instead as really enjoyed swim. might go for an hour and a halfs swim to see if i can get some extra lengths in. meeting mum at 1ish so will have to go earyish to get in good time.
ok so going to attempt finishing my room tonight. gonna work on it slowly as cant move very fast as muscles are fairly creeky, but aim to have it complete for 9 pm so that i can relax and watch B.G.T tonight.
anyone got any other suggestions as to what i can do with squash other than making chips?? can you mash it the same way as potatoes?? cos might have birdeseye chicken with squash mash and vege if you can. not sure if its very mashable tho..hmmm. if anyone has any ideas let me know. cos that would make my dinner only 10 which give me 6 extra tonight for a glass of wine whilst watching telly.

. not normally a big drinker but i have the odd few days were i like having a glass in the evening. not that uni is over i feel like its more ok for some reason...weird.

Oooooer quiet here today........just back from Combat, it was really good - cant wait to get in the shower!
Going to get some supper and get to bed, nothing much planned tomorrow, hoping to make soup in the morning and the butternut squash tagliatelli thats in Boost for dinner - my wee manny gets another jag in the afternoon so that wont be much fun, then its Total Toning at night.

morning all!!
well i woke up and could barely move muscles were so achy!!! so no swim today!! but there better now so kinda wissh i had made myself as wont get a chance to go later as meeting mum then going to work. oh well got body conditioning and a swim tomorrow starting at 6:30pm.
had a good day yesterday saved an extra 4 checks so saved 9 overall, not on purpose but i just didnt want to eat anymore. so saved 14 all togetehr.
meeting up with mum for lunch going to Gusto which has a healthy eating menu so aiming for 20 checks for lunch.
OH MY GOD!!!! some work men really annoyme, i was just going to go upstairs to get ready for going out when the buzzer went and was going non stop for ages!!, so i decided to look out the downstairs window to see who it was and this waork man was on his phone leaning agains mine and next doors buzzer. so i thought ok i will let him in, i saw him step away from the buzzers and so i went to let him in but he didnt open downstairs door!!. so then i went back to see where he had gone and he was wandering around on the phone!!, he hadent even bothered to lean on door after he had buzzed to see if i was going to let him in or not!!, considered shouting down to him but i thought that if he cant be bothered doing properly then he can justbugger off!! was so mad as i am in the house on my own at min and he could have been anyone. for all i know a long buzz like that could have been a prank or an emergency and so i thot id check it out first as we dont have a speaker phone!! i'm over reacting or was it just rude to buzz for that long and not even wait to see if he got let in as you cant tell if someone is trying to let you in unless you lean on the door!! oh it really p*ssed me off!!!!
anyway rant over, will prob catch up later. wont be one untill after work i dont think tho.

hi all just been catching up on all the posts you are doing grat MB keep up the good work ,Laura glad to see you are still posting i know what it,s like when you haven,t got your pep head on ,We got back from Aberdeen last night it,s always nice seeing family just wish it was happier circumstances mum in law gets her CT scan next Monday,on a lighter note i lost 4.5lb this week so of to a good start just away to fill in my charts

Not long in from Toning, put the babe to bed and just having a wee seat.....he was a wee star when he got his jag, sat still, burst in to tears, quivery lip and everything but the miraculous powers of white chocolate buttons made it all better
He has gone down like a dream tonight too, so he should wee devil - up at 5am. I am shattered, I hope I get a good sleep tonight.
Starving as usual after my class so going to get some supper and grab another early night lol. Swimming lessons in the morning.
Glad to see you with us again Flick, hang in there.

oh boo mum is a bad influence on me. i had a tiger prawns in tomato sauce for starter, hawian pizza for lunch and ice cream for afters!!! that was just for lunch!!!! but it was tasty tho.
but i wasnt even good when i got back in from work, i had dingapore chicke with ectra vege, then temptation caved i and just toatlly stuffed my fave with cake and an individual trifal !!! the DAY before WI!!!. i must be bonkers!!
at least i have done exercise this week hopefully that will make some dent in weight......ARGH!!!!!!!!!!

start affresh tomorrow. I have 3 aims: 1) to make each day PEP perfect
2) to add 2 more exercise days in (at a minimum)
3) take each days as it comes, a step at a time.
i really need to get out of this sweet tooth crap!!! i mean when i first started ss i didnt even think about haveing something sweet i always had about 16 elft over and i used it to have nutella on toast. which i kno is sweet but its not the same as buying a cake or a packet of choclate or cheescake when you absoloutly HAVE to finish the next bit the next night. think i will start buying proper bread tomorro and hae proper sandwiches and use proper toast. been using the wee 400g ones and the slices are tiny so not very big sandiwiches, and there for been put of nutella on toast as the toast is small and only ok with butter and/or jam/nutella on it, theres not getting as much for the same amount of checks as have been counting the smaller slices as the same as it has seeds and stuff in it. so will also aim to make one loaf of warbutons last me a whole week!! mayabey i will freeze half of it!! thats a good idea!!
anyway i'm sure not much of that makes sence i am in a bit of crazy mood as totally annoyed at myself for the cake and trifal fiasco (could have made my piece with the big lunch - not seen mum in ages and was nice haveing a chat over some food) but i think it just goes to sho that i am still very much in a 'want to eat watever i want' head...so will try better this week.
will let you know about WI, Jen hope you do well at your way in tomorrow good luck!!

Reporting a STS this week - bitty disappointed but after my behaviour this week I don't blame the scales
Well done all those Musks that have their Pep head on and kicking a$$ when it comes to exercise. Those struggling - come on peeps we can do this!!
I have 3 pounds to lose in the next 3 weeks for Mission Meet the Ex - so come on - who is with me??!!
Iain goes home tomorrow

so I will be back on the straight and narrow and it is 3 weeks until I see him again (he is a bad influence!) so I will have no excuses, promise!

Feeling fresher today, Russ stayed up after his nightshift and let me have a lie in....bliss!
Swimming lessons were cancelled too so having a lazy morning, trying to think of something to get up to this afternoon though, Mack is easier to amuse on the go lol.
Jen - glad you had a nice week with Iain and 3lbs is so do-able, get stuck in!
Jenni - good luck today at WI, lunch sounds nice.....mmmmm....pizza

i cant decide weather my scales have said a sts or a 1lb if steped on it 3 times this morning and its changed each time. think i need more acurate scales. will go again and do it again and if it the same as the majority then i will stick with that.......
ok it looks like i have put on ANOTHER lb

totally gutted!! i'm seriously getting to the 'whats the point' place at min, believe my normally i would have given up 3 weeks ago....but i wont i just seem to have lost it completely tho and dont know how to get back on it. i need help.
going to sort out room then go shopping for the weeks food, will sort outmenues first. going to see keenan at weekend so need something low check and healthy to eat whilst down at his on sat to save us getting a takeaway. he is taking to me to one of his work mates wedding reception so i can only assume it will be a buffet!! what do you were to a wedding reception aswell, was thinking just smart casual jeans and a nice top but then i thought it might need to be more weddengy than that, so then i htought my grad ball derss but that seems too posh and the 2 other dresses i have are fairly going out dresses, ones short the other one is booby. i hate boys sometimes, all he will have to do is put on some smart trousers and a nice shirt and bobs your uncle hes done. god!! i might have to go shopping, i really didnt want to go shopping this week i spent enought on new stuff last week and only ended up buying 2 things!!!
i really need help not in the motivational fighting mood atal in fact i could so a reseraunti pizza right now. but have one can i...can i??
ok going to go and see if i can get some motivation, have body conditioning tonight then a swim, so hopefully exercise will pay off this week.

thanks Jen lol. really cant be bothered with the exercise today but will see how i feel, will definatly go for a swim tho but unsure about body conditioning. but gonna make an effort to do the stuff ive been meaning to do for ages like tidy room and sort stuff out as will help me feel mor positive. will definatly join you for that challenge tho. sounds good.
ok going to do meal plan, go to asda, repot tomato plants as there getting really gangly tidy room, and after all that ill hopfull be up for the body conditioning and a swim. so here goes.
really wish i could go to meat next sat, but alraedy have other stuff one, there has to be another one later in year so that i can meet you all.
defo feeling more positive not all the way there yet tho.
question: does activa intensly creamy count as and edb yoghurt as its 4.5 checks and i thot i could count is that as dont want to get more yoghurts in untill i have finished these ones?
so had a sandwich and a yoghurt so that 10 but 14.5 if yoghurt doesnt count as edb. will fill in charts later.

Evening All
Wow its quiet in these parts....
Had a good day today, as I said earlier I had a nice long lie, then I made some lentil soup for lunch. We went to visit Russells Mum then came home and I made potato and mango curry for dinner - Mack loved it! I sneaked off to Body Pump and have just finished writing Mackenzie nursery diary.
I have to write his normal schedule, likes/dislikes etc for them, to help him settle as easily as possible. Tomorrow is D Day, Macks first visit to nursery, he goes from 10.00-11.00 - eeek!
Next week we will start building up his hours so I am going to book myself a massage and facial
, enjoy a bit of relaxation before heading back to work.
So where is everyone else hiding?

hi well i am feeling loads better from this morning. bought myself a wee note book to write everything down in so that i remember what all to put in charts. have currently eaten 49 checks and saving 6!! YAY as thot would save 5 a day untill sat then eat 16 for lunch and breakfast on sat. then have what evers left over plus extra 15 for buffet at wedding reception. so quite pleased with myself.
i also bought nimble whole wheat bread which is only 2 checks a slice so sandwiches are now only 8 checks instead of ten!! and toast is also less for breakfast too. also got some skinny cow sandwiches there choclat cookie with vinalla or choclate ice cream in middle only 4 checks just about to eat one (as part of 49 checks i spoke of above) had a slice of nutella on toast too just now as it now only 6 checks instead of 8 due to low cal bread. quiet chuffed.
went to body conditioning was really fun, we were doing circuts today using bosu balls, gym balls, bar bells, steps and skipping ropes. we had to go round each about 6 times and each full circuit did something different so the first circuit was to do with thighs so the majoroty of the stuff was used to do squats. we did stuff for arms aswell and after my upper arms and shoulders were aching but i still went for a swim, didnt fo 40 lengths onlc could manage 32 as arms were just so heavy even that was a struggle but i am pleased with exercise today and will be going back next week. also realised today that i cant do combat on sunday or absblast on monday as in manchester but going to see what keenans local gym is like and maybe get a couple of session done down there instead. but will be back and going for a swim on tuesday tho.
going for a swim tomorrow too and then bodyvive and swim on firday. really getting into this exercise lark. so i am ready and fighting the fat again for another week. BRING IT ON!!!! need to definatly drink more as think that was a big part of weight gain last weeks as not been drinking as much as i usually do.
anywa was only meaning to pop on and let you know how bosy conditiong went, but i have practically writen an essay, again!!! anyway...Oh!! meant to say i got a job interview for a clerical officer at the royal infermary, really excited about it, going to do loads of research on the department as dont want to get stumped on any questions regarding that. want to do the best i can to get it!!!

Well done on your exercise Jenni, once you get into it, it gives you a real buzz doesn't it. Your conditioning class sounds like our circuits class crossed with total toning infact it sounds really like the toning class I went to last Wed when I missed Pump. What gym is it you go to? Is it Edinburgh Leisure?
Another good night for us, Mack slept til 7.00am so we have just had breakfast, will play for a wee while before getting ready for our first experience of nursery
Russ is taking our nephew to play badminton this afternoon after school then its cheese in burgers for dinner and I'm aquafitting tonight.
What has the day in store for everyone else?

Hi everyone
Still here, plodding along. Blocked sinuses are causing havoc with headaches, it was so bad even my ears hurt last night, ouch! Anyway, watched the programme on BBC1 last night and it has totally inspired me even more. I am desperate to be able to exercise again, wish this darn cold would hurry up and disappear!!
Avon are doing their own version of the "Fit Flops" and I got mine this morning, demo price of £10.50 as I am a rep. They are sooooo comfy so gonny see how I go with them. If I have comfy shoes then I love to walk so it's all good. I will keek my head in later to see how you are all doing, off to get my son from nursery.

morning all. well i am feeling incredibly motivated!!
i got a wee notpad yesterday and even bought stickers, green is for a good pep day, blue is for every litre of water i drink, red is for wieght on, yellow is for every half stone lost. i remeber that you got stickers in class and stuff so i thot id do that for myself lol. so i hadve a green for yesterday and a blue for today already. i hate drinking that much water my bladder cant handle it!!!!
anyhoo, jaci i go to greens fitness behind the corn exchange, its expensive but its close and i get student price (fort the time being) but think im moving to leith in a few months so will have to find someware closer to there. were do you go?? i need to find a desecent place that does classes and stuff cos really enjoying them. kno what you mean about getting a buzz i love doing it when im there is just getting there thats a problem, like really not feeling a swim today but know i will feel great after so will try and go ina bit, although my arms are just killing me!!! so will see how i feel, trying to think of what i could do instead.....must tidy room first tho,t thats my main aim today lol.
jen glad you had a good time with iain, glad your back, i'm going down to manchster on sat soooooo excited feel like i not seen keenan in ages but it was only a couple of weeks ago. gonna make sure i research this job role as i really want this job, not getting the hours i need at the one i am at and i just dont like it.
CBx - hope you feel better soon, its not nice haveing blocked sinuses but that sounds awful, hope you ok and can get back to exercising soon.

Make free veg kebabs - I made them last week and really filled my plate. Also make Banana's stuffed with a curly wurly or a few choco buttons. Quite low check if you have not used your EDB fruit. xx

Nice to see things a bit busier here........Laura you are still too quiet thought!
Mack was quite good at nursery this morning he went in fine, gave me a kiss and waved bye-bye, toddling off. He was only there for an hour today and when I went back he had been a bit teary for the last 10 mins or so but he was getting tired, he started crying when he saw me but was then happy to show me the chute and teh see saw so all in all a good first day. He is back tomorrow at 2.00 for another hour.
My Auntie is babysitting for me tomorrow morning to let me get to Body Combat, then we have Russ's brother coming to stay for the weekend so Mack will love being spoilt.

Did you get a sitter sorted for Erin?
Not sure of the plans, no-one is really confirming what they want to do - I was beginning to think we were going to have to cancel. As it stands we are meeting at the Hawes Inn at 7.00 but only ones to confirm for definite are Laura and I so I have not booked anything yet.
Cummon guys, time to shout up, would be fab to have as many people there as possible.
So.....who is coming, does the time suit?

didnt go swimming today as arms were really sore but have tidyied my room and dusted it so its spotless now AND i did whilst dancing around like a crazy person so i am counting that as exercise as was sweating by the end of it lol.
anyway nothing much to report saced another 6 today so quite chuffed with that, going to go fill in charst and write it in note pad. speak to you all later

Nice to see you all doing your best PEP and exercise wise.
I have been PEPing away since Monday after having a total blow out at the weekend. Not been to the gym much but have got 2 dogs to walk so have been kept relitively busy. It's not easy walking them and keeping an eye on the 3 kids at the same time.
Jaci- I can do anytime on Saturday. Julie is still coming too.
Right best get on as I have a meeting with the speech therapist this morning about my boy, then to work till 1 before back up to the school to get organised for the fete tomorrow. Then it's report cards today!!! I even dread getting my kids report cards- bizarre!!!
Then tonight I am off out to a volunteers do before hitting a few pubs with my colleagues.

Great to see you back Laura, busy day for you but hope its a good one......
Jen glad you can come next Sat, will be great to finally meet you. Meg and Elle you were both possibilities, are you able to confirm and I will book a table for 7.00pm on Sat 6th June.
Need to go and get the babe covered in sun cream and dressed, he is going to my aunts this morning for a dig in the gardenwhilst I am at combat then home for lunch before nursery. I am getting my eyebrows waxed whilst he is away, home for dinner then haircut at 6.30. Russ's brother is arriving about dinner time too - busy busy!
Oh better go, Mack is causing mayhem with the CD rack......aaaagh!

Good Morning Everyone,
I am struggling already

I was in the office 3 mins before I scoffed a custard cream. I also did the dreaded thing of stepping on the scales - 3 pounds on!! I did think I was lucky to STS the same this week - but 3 pounds on

thats disgusting amount of overeating!! Someone have a word in my ear!!
Yip! Really looking forward to a week tomorrow - if the weather is nice can we sit outside?
What busy lives we all lead - I think we deserve a pat on the back for rushing around and still putting a wee bit of time aside to PEP.

Laura lets be peptastic today. I have recorded my custard cream and I am going to focus for the rest of the day - I want to be able to report Day 1 of my Pep Perfect week!

hey guys, well islept into day which means i miss bodyvive whcih start about now. and my boob muscles are really sore so its putting me off swimmin, its the but at top of boob muscles that joins onto my under arms bits and whin i lift my arms up it really hurst, i blame the bar bell thing that we had to do, we had barwieghts and had to lie on hour back and push them up for a minute, and my arms are that strong, but then i swam after it and doing breast stroke worked thos muscles again!! so really sore still. but might go for a swim if not will go for a walk round the canal as it is a gorgous day today. oh i have to go to uni today maybe i'll cycle up as i can go up the canal to uni.......hmmmm descisions.
anyway pep is going well i have eaten 49 yesterday and the day befor so have sofar saved 12 planning on doing the same today. and tomorrow i am planning on having toast for brekafast - 6 edb fruit and yoghurt, and lunch will be a ham salad sandwich- 8 and will be a wee flast to have tea in as this will fill me up on train, i get in to manchester at 5:30 which gives about half an hour to get back to his house then and hour to get ready then half an hour to get the wedding reception so no time for food. wichmeans i will have 41 checks to eat at wedding reception with a posssible 18 extra if i save another 6 today so thats 59 altogether!!! thats loads, but if i dont eat it all then we thought about having a takeaway which i really want but i think were just gonna have spaghetti hoops on toast when we get in if were hungry and i have checks left. so staying away from the takeway....well trying anyway.
well i'm going to have breaky as am starving then fill in charts for yesterday, i have wrten it in my book but not on there yet. oh and i had 2 1/2 litres of water yesterday!!, how good is that. gonna aim for another 2 litres today.
Jen - dont worry about those 3 pounds, you dont get weighd untill wednesday it may be water or it may be over eating but if you work at it you can get it off no problem. and well thats just what you get for having a sneaky peak!!! mind you have done the same in the past. it might even out towards WI day so just do some extra exercise and be extra good with pep and i'm sure you will be fine
audrey - good luck with your interview, i'm sure you'll be brilliant!!
lorraine- well done on the exercise, its such a nice day for a walk.
well i'm off, as absoloutly starving. well let you know how i get on exercise wise later as still undecided.
