I had a very crappy weekend with stress, food & wine. I have swiftly kicked maself up the butt and will have a great day today.

Morning all
Have been at the gym for an hour with Julie, its the first time I have made it in 2 weeks so no doubt I will feel it tomorrow.
I have also decided to change my weigh in day back to a Monday. There is too many nice things out there at the weekend when you are off. Beleive me my tummy and I were paying the consequences of it through the night.
So weigh in will be a monday from now on.
Good luck to those getting weighed today remember and let us know how you get on.

I set myself a target in the New Year to walk a lot more. I have a four year old daughter and she doesn't go to bed until about 8pm. The thought of putting on a DVD at that time is a non-starter - esp. when I have a 101 other things to do! Anyway ... I have been walking in my lunch hour and I have been clocking up at least 12,000 steps a day. I really feel this has made a difference. I have not been pep perfect any week since starting 2.5 weeks ago but I have lost 6 pounds. I am not going to class, just trying to do it myself and I think being 'here' will really help and I will get all the motivation I need. A lady at my work is weighing me and she is as mean as any CM.

Welcome to the challenge Jenny there are a few of us on the challenge that don't go to class so you are not alone we also have another post on the get up and go section recording our fitness you should have a peek you may get some tips or even just the motivation.
I'm off to work now have been a busy PePer since the gym this morning and made some check free mushroom soup
and have made some snack to take to work as Monday seems to be the night evreyone phones for a moan LOL.

Sorry one and all - I've let the side down - 2lbs on this week (must confess though almost a pound in that is in the fact that I was wearing jeans and not my usual stretchy trousers)
Has anyone checked out our accumulated total - when I checked before coming on here to post it was a staggering 58.5 lbs - isn't that fantastic especially as everyone hasn't posted their results - and for those who haven't posted results please PM either Flick or myself to confirm that you want to be kept on the chart before we do some 'housekeeping'
Welcome Jenny - you'll have access to the chart and eats chart 3 in about 15 minutes

well I'm back to the land of day shift, thank god!
WI tomorrow morning,don't know how it will go have been pep good but just don't feel like I have lost anything.I'm really missing my scales to jump on for reassurance.

Ok Confession time.
My day started well with a trip to the gym, however I have been craving a steak pie since thursday so gave in today and had one from the bakers at lunchtime.
Didn't manage to get home for tea due to work so at 8pm when I came in I have 2 rolls with microchips followed by cakes the kids had baked with my Mum.
Oh well thats it out of my system. Will need to be really good the rest of the week.
Fresh start again in the morning.

Ok - new day - new challenge week
I'll need to pull myself up but the boot laces and get over this hurdle and off this plateau - I've been trying - unsuccessfully - to actually break through the 3 stone barrier for at least 4 months
This needs to be it and I need to get on or else I don't know what I'll do - in the past I'd have given up months ago but I'm still wanting to get this b***dy weight off and off for good
Ok moan over but please keep a check on my eats chart and nudge me when you think its needed
I hope all goes well for those weighing in today

Well done on your loss WB thats great, its so easy to let loose when you dont get weighed for a week or so.....
Whats done is done gang so no more beating ourselves up
.......promise?????......... but its time to get serious, as Little Fire yesterday that combined weight loss number is amazing and the higher that number grows the more motivated we should all become, most of us have 7 maybe 8 WI left before the end of this mini challenge, even at 1lb a week thats HALF A STONE !!!!!
We have a fantastic wee support network here, lets make the very most of it, share our best practice, recipies and tips that see us through the tough days. I for one am so proud of us all, the number of posts on here is fantastic, lets get this job done

Ethne don't worry you will get to 3st soon. I'm like that at the moment and I've been loosing and gaining the same 7lbs for about 5 months

(and did you know jeans can weight upto 6lbs! so it really could have been that that effected you loss)
Miss B, well said! This is a journey and there will be a few hills to climb on the way - or something like that... no more feeling bad please!

At class this morning lost 2.5lbs so chuffed with that.
Ethne you,ve not let the side down you'll be back on track today I'm sure,
At WI today girl in front of me sts she was v disappointed so she took off her sweat shirt and lost a pound!!
Wonder if we could ask for curtains round the scales then we could get weighed in our bra and knickers

!!! seriously though it just goes to show it matters what you wear when you weigh in.
Well done lorraine fab weight loss especially since it's been 2 weeks since last WI don't be so hard on yourself a pound a week off is better than gaining and just think how many pounds you'll have lost come summer

What kind of pubs do you like Megymogs? Fat GhirlSlim and I both live in Perth.

Well done on this weeks losses so far
I am guilty sorry of not filling in my eats chart this week at all
had a party on Saturday and had no tea as such just sandwiches and party stuff and to be honest I have not been at all organised this week so far, have just come back in from a work thing where we got Chinese takeaway delivered in and i have no idea how many checks i've had!!!!

Please check out each others eats chart and support each other - if you see something your not sure of on a chart or could make a suggestion - comment on it - we all make silly, stupid, simple, mistakes which can cost us lbs at WI and having someone point these out can help
Keep going this year we will be lighter at the end of it

Good Morning Ladies,
I hang my head in shame

... first week on the challenge and I have to report a STS! I am disappointed that I cannot add to your great stats. I have been following the plan for 3 weeks now and I lost 3 pounds each week apart from this one! I promise to do better - I have already decided to 'up' my step count with a big walk to Tesco after work to get stuff to make a angelic meal. Normally I have a bit of a cheat on a Wednesday night but not tonight!! I know if I behave this week and I get a bit more exercise then it will show at the scales next week (fingers crossed!).
I still feel motivated and that is down to you guys and your wonderful support, so THANK YOU!!

Nothing exciting planned today, got Mother and Baby at lunchtime, went to gym yest cos I prob wont make it today as I have the dentist later too. Have managed to talk my sister into chumming me to Body Pump on Sat morning - cant wait !!!!

I am going to make the Mince with Mushroom Pasta (a bit like chilli or spag bol) - I love it and you get quite a big portion!
Yes, I am feeling motivated with the exercise, I just don't seem to have the time though. Maybe I will consider getting up earlier in the morning because once my wee lass goes to bed at about 8pm I really can't be bothered! I have another cunning plan ... I have a stepper thingy and I will haul that out, from wherever it is hiding, dust it off, and pound the pounds whilst watching tv. I walk to and from work and then again at lunchtime - this clocks up about 11000 steps (not including all the normal walking about the office) and I figure if I can do a further 4000 on the stepper that would be a good start with the old exercise lark wouldn't it???
Anyway, think I should do some work!!

Ended up with a salad box for lunch today - 15 checks - that's OK
100g oven chips for dinner with some lasange and a bit of salad - another 15 checks - as long as Charlotte doesn't have eats tonight I should have another saving check wise today - OH how I'll be chuffed with that

Hello Ladies,
Well I have nearly survived the day! I have had all but 3 of my checks and am quite full, hopefully I will stay out of the kitchen for the rest of the evening. I have been quite pleased with my exercise today so all in all it has been a good start for my new, improved, week!
I am an Avon Lady so I have to place my order now - that should take about an hour - better chance of staying on the couch that way.
