WOW the combined weight loss (and not everyone is posting)
current total is a whopping 62 lbs - as of 8.20 am this morning
This is FANTASTIC
Where could we be at the end of the 10 weeks
Good luck to all approaching the scales at class or at home today - would'nt it be great to break through the 70lb barrier by the end of week 3
I had a lovely night - lots of chat and looking through and at knitting patterns, objects and boy has the wool / yarn changed since I was last a knitter - only had 1 piece of caramel shortbread (still managed to save a few checks
)
Have a good day - catch up with you all later

HELP!! I had a disaster last night ...
after posting saying I was full (had my dinner) I went and ate 3 packets of crisps!! Yes I said 3 packets of crisps!!!

They were quavers and skips so only 300 cals - but that is over and above all the rest of my eating!! I am disgusted with myself but then if it was all plain sailing I would not be here asking for your support and advice and I would not have met such lovely people. I'n groveling now!!!!
I have until next Wednesday morning to redeem myself and it starts NOW!!
Hope you all have a great day and good luck to anyone that has WI today.

Good Luck tonight Paula, fingers crossed for you...
Well done on managing those checks LF, I hope you enjoyed the caramel shortbread. Have you decided what your first knitting project will be then?
Oh Jenny dont worry hun, 12 checks between now and Wed is do-able. Get a pot of check free soup on the go, have it for lunch one day and your sorted - back on track.
Bit miserable here today so just going to get caught up on some housework this morning and go to the gym this afternoon then make dinner quite early cos Russ is going out. Then its just me and the babe for bath, bed and storytime - lovely.

Morning everybody!
WOW!!! What a FANTASTIC loss so far...well done everyone!!! You are doing great...unfortunately, I'm not managing to pep very well at the moment....OH & I are in process of moving in together and to say everything is in chaos would be a bit of understatement!! I will use the eating charts to record what I'm eating and will aim to start peping properly at the beginning of Feb when everything should be a bit more settled at home!!
Hope you all have a great day and good luck to anyone weighing in today

Just popping in briefly - have the tennis on the net in the background - come on ANDY
Ms B- I've knitted a Drops pattern headband - looking for a scarf pattern or two to work up as presents (wanting to build up a stash of these) - and I've a pair of socks (1st ever) underway for Dad for his birthday - the knitting on top of the patchwork and quilting should keep my hands busy and my mouth free from naughty things
JB - if you find that you keep turning to crisps and have to have them at home - buy flavours you DON'T like then you won't be tempted
Hope all goes well for those jumping on the scales and I look forward to see the accumulated total get bigger and bigger as we all loose more and more

How's everyone doing? Not long till the weekend now, the time I always dread
So far so good for me today, although I have no idea what food is going to be on tonight at the ceilidh. Hopefully I will be able to stay away from it all. Good thing though the other worker I am going with is a good friend and will drag me away from the buffet if need be.
Been to the gym this morning and I have also been for a walk on the inch too.
Off to get tidied up and have another shot on the wii fit if I get a chance before I pick the kids up from school.

Afternoon all,
Jenny can't really add much to the others advice - it is excellent as always! But if you sometimes have probs in the evening try making your own NC veg crisps - cut carrots, parsnip, etc (any NC veg that you can slice) into really thing slices and spray with a few sqirts of sprap oil and put in hot (ish) over. You will need to keep an eye on them to make sure the don't burn though. They wont go completely crsipy but they taste good and you can add salt, pepper, chilli, garlic etc to change the flavour. I don't have an oven at the moment and I can't remember the exact temp or length of time so I hope that is enough detail. Another good snack food it popcorn - you can get air poping machines so it would only be the checks form the corn you need to add you can add some salt or spices to make it bit more interesting...
Lorriane sorry to here about Broxi. Hope it is nothing too serious!
I've nothing much to report... peping away ok. Saving checks for friday as I'm going to my folks for dinner as the bf is in london for work. Going jogging after work today so hoping the weather holds okay and we don't have snow!
Then this evening I've got a script to read so I can try and come up with a set design for this year musical for the drama group I'm in...
And it should keep my occupied and out of the kitchen!
Hope everyone else is having a good day, take care xx

Ah Audrey - come on get back on track if those 5 went on quickly they should slip off the same way - get the books out and start back TODAY
Paula - what can I say - WOW
- good for you - it's great when you break through that plateau - but don't do a me and slip keep fighting on and you'll have that stone barrier in no time
TWB - I'm using up stash wool at present and making a scarf - ruby and black - its a wonky pattern so should look good - and I've joined Ravelry so 1000's of free patterns there to tempt me - better than sweets (maybe)
Off now to check the O/A total - have we broken the 70lb mark?
OOPS the chart is back under the 60lb level
There are a few missing from logging into the chart - and who haven't been posting on the thread - anyone know what's up
DonaldK, Cheekymonkey - on WI results posted for challenge to date
LynMech and Mini-Maz - nothing posted in recent weeks
We will leave their sections on the chart for another week then if there isn't any action next week we will do some chart housekeeping - everyone agree
Oh and Looby please PM me with your direct email address and I'll add you to the chart and eats chart 4 just as Miss Broxi 'said'

I have gone on line already and ordered him some new ones so next week we will hit the pool..........

Hope you all have a good friday, I am sitting at work feeling a wee bit tired we didn't get back to Perth until after midnight last night, but it was a good night and not one piece of food passed my lips, only a can of dt coke.
I guess thats a bonus of being fussy their was hardly anything I like there well except these wee mini cheesecakes which my colleague said she wasn't having as it wouldn't be fair on me, so I couldn't then possibly munch one as she was trying to help me.
Anyways hope you have a good day. I was planning to go to the gym this afternoon but I have a banging headache so will wait and see if I can get rid of it. Otherwise it will be the wii fit for an hour to try and make up for some exercise.
Anyways best get on, catch you all later.

Good Morning Ladies!
Managed to claw back 10 of my 12 'naughty' checks yesterday and have really increased the exercise! I am a determined Lady this week!
Paula - Well done again for a great weight loss
CBx - Congratulations on a PEP Perfect day - I feel a good result next week
Megygogs - Have a great w'end and enjoy every minute of it
TWB - Hope you enjoyed your toastie last night? I hope you had a better night with Broxi.
Laura - How was your dance-a-thon? Did you dance your butt off?
Audrey - I am sure you will get a better result next week cause when it goes on fast it comes off quite quickly!
I need some advice:- I am going to be PEP and exercise perfect this week (I weigh on Wednesday). It is my birthday on Thurs (29) so I am having a birthday 'tea' at my Mummy's house on the Wed night, then a birthday lunch on Thursday (at Monster Mash) and then I am off to London for the weekend with my BF! How on earth do I make it thro next week? Or do I just work as hard as I can this week and then take the penalty at the scales the following week?? I will make soup and jelly and have loads of chopped veg for scoffing on the days when I can behave. Will that suffice??
Have a great Friday everyone!

Dont worry CC, you will shift that in no time, stay positive !!!!!
Jenny if I was you I would save what I can between now and then, as you say be as good as you can be when you can be. When you are out try and make the best choices possible (without denying yourself too much) ie have grilled instead of fried, tomato based pasta rather than creamy etc AND/OR have what you fancy but try not to finish the portion. Whatever approach you take have a very Happy Birthday

Let myself have a treat tonight sausage mash and veg -
- all checks accounted - still under for the day
TWB - it's easy to get sucked into a craft again, with great gusto - check out ravelry and see what freebies you get - and as for yarn / wool check out the bargin buckets there is plenty on offer at present
MsB - it's amazing how quickly the wee man is growing up - watch out it will be walking next - then you'r weight will drop off as you chase him around the house
Those (like me) who put on last week don't fret - work at it and we should have positive input (the right way) on the chart next week
Those who are loosing well - keep going
Audrey - if you double click a box you should be able to over write what was in it originally
Have a great night tonight - I'll not be back on probably till evening tomorrow - off to play at a friends - dyeing fabric for patchwork and such like

Good Morning Everyone,
I overate yesterday so decided to have an early night - don't really feel the benefit for it tho! Why is that?
Have drawn a line under yesterday and started today fresh! I am hoping that my exercise will pull me thro to a weight loss this week. Fingers crossed!!
Going to see Singing Kettle

this morning - not sure what we are doing after that. I also promised to take my daughter ice-skating at some point. She has talked about it non stop - she is obsessed with Dancing on Ice! She is 4 and neither of us have been skating before so that should be interesting! At least it will keep me away from the fridge!

Still not feeling to great but have a night out with Hubby and a few others tonight. Will not be drinking though but I am a bit worried I will end up bagged up on soft drinks and not get a loss tomorrow. Have TOTM too so it's not looking good.
