6.00am this morning, better than 4.45am I guess...........no plans at all for today, just going to take it as it comes. I have a house like a tip, an ironing mountain, a poorly hubby, and a demanding toddler - who said holidays were fun?
Dont worry, a strong coffee and I'll bounce back. Snow might just be thawing a bit here, roof tops are looking patchy and the icicles are dripping. Wonder what the weather men are predicting today.

oh Ainey
That's terrible, but you must remain positive. I know you will be there to help and support your Dad and we will all be here for you best we can.

for you Ainey. I know every operation is different, but my Mum had a kidney removed 13 years ago, and has never looked back, stay positive
Glad you got a bit longer in bed this morning Jaci
and Russ is feeling a bit better
Going out for a belated birthday meal tonight, with Amy, her hubby David, Mum and OH, nothing fancy, just to the hotel where David "chefs"
Have a good rest of Wednesday, and stay warm

Big hugs Ainey, try not to turn to food hun - turn to us - we are here when you need us xxx
Audrey - enjoy your meal tonight. I love eating out, its such a sociable pass time
and it means you dont need to cook or do dishes - yay!
I had a fairly productive day around the house, been out for a walk in the snow with the buggy - the things you do to get them to sleep!!! and we are now having a wee cuppa.
I have booked Russ a docs apt for tomorrow, morning. No way he will be fit for work on Fri and I dont want him ending up worse and back in hospital again.
Toning at 7pm tonight and then guess what.....another early night .....party party x

Thanks for your support - it means alot.

OMG how insensitive.....some folk
My friend had a kidney removed last year beacause it was small and not working properly, this meant the other one was over compensating and making her ill.
Strangely, it seems she would be better with 1 functioning properly than 2 not. Yes she was laid up for a couple of weeks but the op went well and if I remember properly was keyhole so no big open wound or anything and best of all she has been feeling great since.
No more kidney infections or back pain.
Keep your chin up, feel free to cry though it sometimes helps, but not at someone elses ill positioned comments.
Big hug x

Wow well this is it I guess. The end of the Musketeers 2009 challenge.
Just want to thank all of you for contributing over the past year.
The support on this thread has meant a lot to me and has kept me going through the months- particularly all those STS weeks/ months that I had.
I am so pleased to see that the musketeers 2010 thread is taking off- hopefully we will be as successful then as we have been this year.
Between us we lost just under 300lbs (although have to say Jaci lost 1/2 of it on her own).
So a massive well done everyone and I will see you on the Musketeer 2010 thread.
Hope you all have a happy and healthy New Year, remember to Stay Safe.
