Just poping on quickly to let you know that I managed to loss 2lbs this week 2thumbs.gif Very pleased with myself, although I still say my body works a week behind what I feed it so will see what happens next week.

Good to see that everyone is having a good PEP weekend. It has been quite quiet here though but then it is the weekend and people are busy enjoying themselves!!

I have been good today. I had my friend around for tea tonight and that is normally when my eating goes out the window but I had planned for it and got through it painfree. I even managed to have my 'must have' bag of maltesers when watching Danicing on Ice (it's an addition!). All I need to do now is keep out of the kitchen for the rest of the night!!

Well done to MB for making body pump, CC for being PEP perfect and a huge 2thumbs.gif to Flick for the 2lbs off. Collectively we acheive so much!!

Looks like many of you managed a good weekend - I'm 99% sure that I've used up my savings and a bit more besides - haven't filled in my chart yet to see the extent of the damage - the scales will tell tonight probably
Didn't manage to get to the gym but did buy a nice new handbag whilst out rolleyes.gif

I had a good sat went out in Edin sat evening and food wise i was okay, then came sunday and out again in Edin sunday night and my food plan went out the window confused.gif so pretty rubbish day for me sunday but i have drawn a line under it and starting a fresh.

It is freezing here and had to scrape my window on the car this morning y_shock.gif

Had a few late nights over the weekend and feeling it today now i am back at work.

Good Moro!

Just a quick wee message (meant to be working!). I had a good(ish) weekend - I am never PEP perfect but I try to be near as I can. I am on the countdown to my birthday and the celebrations around it - and it is not even a 'special' one!! I start my 'destruction' on Wednesday night - thank goodness I weigh on a wednesday morning! I will recommence pepping at Sunday teatime - I hate to think of the damage I will do!! Oh well - we are only human!!

What about you guys? How was your weekend and what plans have you for the week ahead?

I have been stopped in my tracks ... totm ... 3 day early!! I was hoping that it would stay away until after I had been weighed! But no ... it has a mind of it's own! The bright side - if there is every one with totm - is it may have cleared up for my weekend away and I have had a really good pepping week so I might still get a weight loss and then an okay one next week too (after stuffing my face) when all the excess fluid is gone. What do we think Peoples?

We went to a new toddlers group this morning, it was really good, wee sing along session with musical instuments for the kiddies, he got a wee snack and I got a coffee (resisted the biccies), came home had lunch and went to they gym evern though my legs are still sore from BP on Sat unsure.gif Hope I dont suffer even more tomorrow!

Well done your registration for the Race for Life Flick, I did it 2 years ago in Glasgow - last year I was a bit heavily pregnant surrender.gif

Like you I would like to work up to the Moonwalk but I would probably die trying this year lol.

Jenny - I dont make any concessions for TOTM (mine came Sat) I think for me the effects differ so much every month, I just accept whatever the scales tell me.

Good luck getting back into it FGS and WB, make this a really good week.

I'm sneaking back on... didn't have a good weekend... y_bag.gif There were crisps, chocolate, vodka, pizza and all sort of rubbish piggy.gif piggy.gif . My pep head has gone awol and all I want to do is eat rubbish and hide under the duvet. It took me all my time to get up and go to work today... dunno what is wrong with me?!? I'm all teary too and I'm not pmted or anything... y_scared.gif

I've not been too bad today but still been picky and I've had biscuits which I rarely do at work. I didn't go out for a walk at lunchtime as I've got to walk past the shop and I can hear the chocolate beckoning... piggy.gif

I've put on 1.5lbs this week too. So anoyed with myself but I don't seem to be able to snap out of it... dunno if I need a kick or a hug... mellow.gif

Anyway, how is everyone else? Well done on the losses for this week! 2thumbs.gif 2thumbs.gif

Jenny, you might be okay? Think it will depend how quickly you gain and loose fluid for totm and how good you manage to be over you birthday weekend... Have a nice weekend away though! 2thumbs.gif

Back from WI - and chuffed with a loss - the 2.5lbs I put on last week had gone - 2thumbs.gif
Now it's just a battle to get these yo yoing 7 lbs off and hopefully get the rest of the weight shifting off on a regular basis - I'm so so sick of these 7lbs they have been boomaranging around for the last 3+ months - I am however pleased that I'm still fighting on and haven't given up - a member at class tonight, who came back last week - 1st time since October 08 - was telling me that as she'd been doing the same off on off on she'd decided to save pennies and rejoin after the holidays, birthdays etc - what a shock she got on the scales last week - 2 st on in 3 months - dear only know's where I would be if I'd given up - it doesn't bear thinking about
Are any of the rest of you on the 'plateau'? - how have you slipped off it into the loosing slopes again?

Elle, 1.5lbs is not that bad! Don't stress about it - we all have weekends when we go crazy! I am getting my excuses in already for the weekend ahead lipsmacking.gif

wi and sts never mind its totm and i did have a rubbish day sunday so fresh start from now also got my pep book out looking through it again. I have had a notion for toastie and may have a bit too many ( although they were all counted)so the bread it getting cut back too confused.gif

Husband got the punch bag down yesterday and i started hitting it a minute at a a time intervals so heres to a new exercise, and upping my cardiovascular but boy its hard y_shock.gif

Morning All

Well done on those losses girls, we are doing fabby - I totally think 100lbs is achievable. Lets do it!!!

There are a few strays though, have Maz, Linzi and Donald gone AWOL?

My legs are feeling much better today, think it was the right thing to go to the gym yesterday - still undecided if it will be Body Pump or the gym tomorrow - will see how I feel.

Out visiting friends today so not sure what lunch will be, she is supposed to be doing WW so hopefully wont be too bad.

I have had a good day y_innocent.gif (my halo is gripping me) and I have been walking in my lunch again. My trousers were feeling bigger yesterday but they are back to tight! sad.gif I weigh tomorrow so I should just wait and see what the scales say. I have ALWAYS weighed in the house but I got a friend to hide them last week so this is the first time EVER I am going 'blind' to the scales. I am hoping for a loss but I would accept a sts as it is totm. sad.gif

Well WI this morninng and lost 3.5lbs. I'm well chuffed 2thumbs.gif
It gave me the boost I needed to start my exercise plan so walked the dog for an hour, then went on treadmill for 20mins sit ups muilti gm and x trainer I'm knackered but feeling positive I will shift this weight once and for all this time.Well done on all those who have lost this week,and Elle it's just a wee blip you'll get back on track, stick with it, we are only human and this losing weight game ain't easy !!
Jenny I ditched my scales from the house as well and It's the best thing I have done!
MB I used to go to body pump a couple of years ago (when I was much slimmer) and I loved it it really tones you up. Maybe once I loose another couple of stones I'll take it up again.

Hi everyone - chuffed that there have been some great losses listed today (need to check the current total)
Had a good day - took some leftovers in for dinner and DH did a salad in warm pitta bread for dinner lipsmacking.gif so if I'm good the rest of the night I'll have a saving to take forward - DH did threaten me with dinner out on Friday night y_whistle.gif - we'll see if it happens or we change our minds come Friday

After a wee discussion with Miss B last night I am going to try something different for tea tonight- a bacon and mushroom omlette with beans, so watch this space. Those of you who have got to know me on the forum will know I eat the same thing all the time and NEVER try anything new.

2thumbs.gif Good Morning all how are we all doing this morning.Well i went to my bed last night at 8.20pm and didn't wake up until 7am this morning y_whistle.gif so i must have been needing a good sleep and feel quite refreshed and feeling positive. It goes to show if you get a good sleep what a different frame of mind your in as before i was knackered and yucky and wanted to eat rubbish confused.gif had a good day yesterday and managed to save checks for the footie on sat although we have decided to take our own food rather than eating out so i may not need to have extra checks after all 2thumbs.gif

Ms B is right Laura - it's good to change what your eating - I'm hoping that some changes and bringing lunches to work will help me
I've been making up boxes of sugar free jelly with a tub of pineapple chunks and low fat fom frais and been bringing them in to ward off the sweet tooth (not today unfortunately) - serving up reduced portions for dinner at night and bringing in the left overs for lunch at work
I'm also planning to try some new check free (or almost check free soups) - sent some recipies to Ms B yesterday
  • celery and pear
  • courgette and brie
  • spicy parsnip
  • spicy pepper and sweetcorn

Ok same basic thing soup but a big change in taste and it prevents the idea of soup becoming boring - so next week I think there will be a few soup and salad rolls logged on my sheet
I've also been thinking of doing some baking y_shock.gif - now I've been brought up in a house where when you bake, YOU BAKE - its never been one sponge cake its been a large batch session - so considering I want to get the lbs off I haven't baked for ages - well at my pals last week an idea took hold
if I do a large batch baking session I'll be cutting the loaf cakes up into slices and freezing them that way there is no need to buy biscuits in for DH or visitors - I can lift out a single slice or a few as required and restrict what's around 'ready to eat' - this may or may not work wholly but time will tell confused.gif - just need to sort out ingredients and check my baking tins etc - probably not this weekend but maybe next y_whistle.gif

I'm back peping and feeling much more positive... going to be pep perfect for the rest of the week and see if I can claw back a loss after my rubbisness shucks.gif and as there is a match on tonight I'm going to walk down into town to meet my boyfriend so we can make a quick get-a-way home before we can't get parked at home. I'm going to have a wee session on the wii fit too while dinner is cooking - every little bit helps...

Ethne, your soup ideas sound lovely. I might need you to send me the spicy pepper and sweetcorn recipe if you don't mind lipsmacking.gif

Hello!

I have had an 'okay' day! Tonight the eat-fest begins!! I am going to my Mum's for a pre-birthday tea (Haggis, Neeps and Tatties, I have asked for heavy on the neeps) and then Monster Mash tomorrow (I hope that I ask for just one sausage!!) and then away to London for the weekend Friday. I am going to try and behave during the day and also stay on the vodka instead of the wine - I think damage limitation is the way I am going to play it! y_shock.gif

I've had a 'bad day' - indulged in a few too many sweets at work then had sausage, egg and chips for dinner - need to check the how bad I've been and log it into the chart
