WOW the list is growing - remember though none of us can help each other if you are shy or hide if you've had a tough day and feel out of PEP kilter - please remember to post NO MATTER WHAT YOU'VE DONE - we want to here all PEP news good or bad
Lila you've been added by Flick and I've sorted things out so you have access to log things into the chart
CBx - I see you've added a weekly listing to you's signature - I'll be starting to star each PEP perfect day on my list as and from Tues after Monday night's dreaded WI
Dreaded as the activity around here over the last week or so has been minimal - back to the gym hopefully tomorrow and Sunday to kick start things off
I'm also hoping to use a minimum of 200 cals a day on exercise to give me a chance of getting away from this weight plateau and maybe even to loose a good 1 1/2 lbs per week - I've worked it out that if I can do this I'll be near target by autumn (here's hoping eh)
Was going to start PEP tomorrow, but stuff it, going to start today.....the sooner the better!!

I'm going to WI tomorrow but I'm back peping today! I've got all my books and stuff out for reading through and I've got a new book for writting everything down in - I'm actually quite excited! Is that sad?!?
Right, I'm off to go and look through everything and find a new recipe for dinner...

I am starting back on it tomorrow and will get weighed at first class 10th Jan so will have a week on pep before my first weigh in, haven't been to class for over six months so I'm really looking forward to getting going again and getting back to target

I didn't quite make it a PEP perfect day yestarday, in factit hasn't been a good week PEPwise at all.
But its ok I am going to make it perfect today. Heading off to the gym with my sister in 15 mins.

Well the party is well and truly over, weighed in this morning and ready to get back on track. I have decided to make Sat my weigh in day, it was a Sat when I did so well last time so hoping history repeats itself.
I am still struggling with my cold so not quite ready to to get back to the gym, which I am gutted about but hopefully if I keep taking my cough bottle I'll get back before the end of the week.

My class is opening next Saturday so decided to start today as Saturday will be my weigh day

have weighed myself and since last weigh in on 29th Dec i have actually lost two pounds
Am going off to Tesco soon ( once other half is showered and shaved ) so will get some " good " shopping in.
when we come back I want to try playing tennis on the wii

Anyway, planning a PEP perfect day today, off to a great start - got the pot out and made porridge, this will stop me snacking!!

Happy New Year everyone.
Well I did plan to start pepping on the 1st but fell by the way side
Did take a photo of myself and well I coundn't beleive how I looked
Weighed myself this morning and I weigh 12st 7lb. So I have started today !!
Away to do a good healthy shop once hubby stops watching the darts.
Can't wait to feel more healther as am feeling sluggish and tierd and it's all down to unhealthy eating. Kids are all needing to get into a better eating regime to so am raring to go and get more incontrol.

Evening Musketeers
Well just finished night shift (yipee).
It was a nightmare food everywhere so I've grazed on peanuts Quality street and pringles for 3 nights.Think I have sickend myself which is good!
Going to go to tesco tomorrow get some healthy food in and start pepping,then rejoin Tue morning.
I've got 5 stones to loose so I think I'll set myself some mini goals. My son has a treadmill and cross trainer in garage so plan on using them and take my wee dog on longer walks.
Right I'm away to start planning my food diary.

Hope you have had a good day. I think I will have made it PEP perfect day 1 by the end of the day with 2 cx to spare.
Was on the way to the gym this morning when hubby phoned to say I would have to go home as he was getting a migrane, I was raging at him (I know its not his fault). Took me till lunchtime and a couple of mini cakes (counted the cx) to calm down. I will go tomorrow morning first thing though.
I am planning to weigh in tomorrow as my fresh start and weigh in on a Sunday for the next few weeks to see how I get on. I am trying to prevent the trip to the bakers I always have after weigh in and pigging out all day. I have decided after weigh in I will treat myself with not counting the cx in 1 meal I eat that day and to have 1 bar of chocolate (not a huge bar- a standard one).
Normally I pig out all day but not this year, promise.

I think the plan is for week one to run from
Week 1- Monday 5th Jan until Sunday 11th Jan
Week 2- Monday 12th Jan until Sunday 18th Jan
Week 3- Monday 19th Jan until Sunday 25th Jan
and so on.
Is that ok for everyone? I am planning to weigh in on a Sunday to help avoid bakers treats on weigh in day, so I will check my weight tomorrow but will record next Sundays weigh in (11th) as my week 1 weigh in.

Well done! It's hard getting that first day under belt! I started back on PEPing on 1st! Great day then but 2nd + 3rd not so good! But hey ho thats were the lovally No-check soup comes in!

I am just back from the gym and had some brunch, so I am feeling great.
Hope you are all raring to go.
I meant to say for those who are using the challenge as a Fresh Start please put FS in your week 1 boxes.
For those continuing from prexmas weigh in just record your loss/gain from over the season unless you wish to have a new year new start too.

Sorry I wasn't around yesterday but I received some PM's from Sonjepinklady and Marieparker - you are both added to the WI chart
Last recap on what you need to do to access the chart
- you need to get a google address - its free - that way when you log on using your usual email address etc and when you click the link you should get access to the chart but maybe have to type in your google address to confirm access - not sure as I have a google address etc
- Just log in your WI results - from this week - and any exercise you want to record - and update the ongoing total in the last column
- there are currently 2 eats groups organised - other charts can be sorted if they are requested
To provide a link to the general WI chart and your eats chart - remember to create a link at your signature you click the following tabs:-
home - my account - edit signature
in the box there you can creat links etc - make sure pop ups are allowed temporarily to create a link (above box with green arrow and plus sign) - in the window that appears for the http address you paste the copied address (it appears at the top of the open google document) go OK then a second window will appear where you type in the name you want for the link at your signature
I've been pretty lax pep wise over the holidays - we didn't have very much 'bad' food wise in the house - I didn't buy it - but I feel a bit bloated and dread to think what the WI tomorrow night will be - don't think I'll have lost this time though I did 07-08 break
I'm planning to sort out my major exercise issues this year and hoping to get DH motivated that way too - I know Tae-bo works so I'll hopefully get started on this for 20 mins at least once this week - put dinner on - do tae-bo - shower - eat dinner - a plan but it just needs to be kicked into action
Now I need to sort out why I'm not getting notices of new posts so I can keep up to date with the thread -
If I don't get a chance to pop back today - I will be on tomorrow 8am ish

Well done to all of you who made it to the gym today, I'm mega jealous, still cant shift this rotten cough. For those still trying to get back into it, hang in there, it will come. A few weeks from now we will have forgotten what it was like not to plan ahead and cook healthy meals.
I am having another good pep day, have made a big pot of broth soup and mince and tatties for tomorrows dinner, all PEP friendly. Today we are having turkey sweet and sour (frozen left overs.......still!!!!!!)
Need to get to the shops though, went on Wed to do a weekly shop, not thinking it was hogmanay and couldn't get any fruit and veg...honestly you would think the shops were shut for a month not a day.
Anyhoo deccies are all down and livingroom looks like a playroom with all the wee mans toys but without the santa's grotto feel it just looks messy.......grrr!

I'm back to PEPing today - all rubbish food removed from the house now (I hope)
DH is out tonight so maybe I'll stick on a Tae-bo dvd and see how far I can get - hopefully 20 mins minimum - that and if I do that could be 300 cals
On one site it says that if I did 200 cals of exercise a day and stuck to my calorie intake I SHOULD loose 1 1/2 lbs per week and boy would that be great - so keep you fingers crossed for me
I have to say its a pity that there isn't a more dedicated SS section for exercise on the site - like basic video links we could be following - eg: a challenge a day - challenge a week - you know - just look at the press today re the TA army fitness training thing on the news this morning

Morning guys!! sneaking on quickly at work... weighed at weekend as promised and not as bad as I thought... bad, but could have been worse, 11st 10lb.... think I'm gonna set a revised target at 10st 5lb, I think thats sensible. Aiming for 3lb this week to take it down to 11.5st.
Will try to pop on later and post menu... keeping it on a spreadsheet so it at least looks like im doing something.

morning all
been on my scales this morning 11.03 so over Christmas and New year thats a gain of 2lbs, I haven't pepped properly for quite a long time now ( have had the odd good few days ) but now its time to get going properly would like to lose two stones a mere 28 pounds which when you see some of the successes on here it should be very achieveable
best of luck to all musketeers today lets report back a fab pep perfect Monday and for those of you on day two three or even maybe four keep going we can do this

Good Morning Musketters hope evreyone is raring to go. I am I have set myself a target of 9 stone and 6 lbs so I'm gonna get at least 1/2 way there this year basing that on a1lb a week weight loss. Have been to the gym already this morning on a late shift at work 3 til 8 time I go to get up off my seat i'll not be able to move lol
. gonna have my main meal before I go to work and a lunch when I come home hopefully all the sweets in the team will have been eaten before I get in
so I'm not tempted . Good luck to everyone and lets be positive and take today as it comes. (sweet free !!!!!!!!!!!!!)

Happy New Start to you all. My new start didn't begin on Saturday as promised. It didn't even start yesterday as got invited to my parent's house for dinner and it was steak pie and roast potatoes - it was bloody lovely though!!
On a good note, I did make it to Curves this morning - got weighed, got "before pics" taken, and got measurements done. The festive damage is nowhere near as bad as I thought. Since last wi I've gained 4lbs....but I usually gain AT LEAST 7lbs at this time of year. My measurements are only up 1/4 of an inch to 3/4 of an inch, but I was expecting it to be more, so happy with that. Will be pepping 100% from now, even at weekends!!
