I really don't like After Eights either (I'm averse to mint in any sweet situation - icecream, chocolate, whatever. Fundamentally wrong on every level).

Ordered a graze box for the first time in ages - got crystalized ginger. Can't decide what I think about it - I'm erring towards heaving however. I bought some of that hugely expensive Dorset cereals the other day - berries and cherries - and that was also vile - the cherries were sour and it was just horrible.

On the other hand, the macadamia nuts in my graze box were yummy, and I'm looking forward to the olives!

Popped in here for a nosey and was rewarded with hilarity. I shall pop in again when in need of some funny, funny posts - you ladies are brilliant!!!!

I got a Graze box today also and it had those big giant while choc buttons (which Rachy loves, boak @ white choc ) and a few other wee things... Included was roasted hazelnuts... I haven't tried them before but do you know what? I actually had to stop eating them because they were making me fantasize about ferrero rochers .. I almost bought a box in Morrisons because of them!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Oh god, fererro rocher! I LOVE fererro rocher! I was given a box last week, and true to type I ate the lot. Yum.

The crystalized ginger was truly grim and made me feel sick (which is ironic as it's supposed to ease sickness).

Hello, delurking after a week off work in bed... gp diagnosed swine flu though it felt more like bad throat/ear infection to me. Have nasty cough now which makes my head ache behind my eyes every time I cough. Nice.

Feel like I have lost weight though will never really know as haven't weighed in ages.

I dunno if it was really swine flu, the gp said anyone reporting a high temperature was being diagnosed with that.... Was rough though.

No idea Gin, he got sent home from his shift last night (a very rare thing to happen!) and her was felt sick and was dizzy and had a thumping headache... He said that he had been feeling like that for a few days. He went to docs at 9am today and they sent him to hosp as a precaution and I haven't heard anything for hours, last I heard he was told to strip as he was getting a full examination! Eeek! Will keep you posted!

I'm waiting for my homeopathy treatment to come through the post. The appointment really felt like a counselling session as it appears I was one stressed bunny during my 20s and didn't realise it at the time!

I had a good time at our Christmas party last night and I actually stood on the scales this morning and have lost 4lbs so I'm dead chuffed with that seeing as I had a few glasses of vino and a voddie last night along with the food! I'm out for another Christmas dinner tonight...thought I might as well go as the OH is working!

Nice to see you in Edinburgh yesterday Nicky. that was a nice surprise!

I had a baby steps kind of week last week and stayed the same. This week I am going to have a GIANT steps week and get a loss. Yes I am Yes I am.

Oooh, very positive! I think I might have lost a teeny bit (although I'm not going to class tomorrow so will never know ). It's probably all through stress though - coursework etc - and the realisation that I'm probably destined to remain single forever - I haven't really been bothered with eating.

Hope everyone is enjoying the build up to christmas - I really must think about doiing some shopping at some point (haven't done a thing!)

More depressingly however - every morning i am having to dispose of wee field mouse corpses, mostly from under the cooker. They are sneaking into my house after dark and then, from my bed I hear - SNAP! (and sometimes horrible noises afterwards, EEWWWHH!) - and i know I have a poor wee moosie to get rid of. It's not nice. Cannot work out how they are getting in or I would warn them!.

Poor wee beasties! I've never had them thank god - I don't think I could cope with the traps! (I'm reliably told that the humane ones don't work).

I can't be bothered to shop - I'm feeling a bit wiped out at the moment. Distraught to find the most beautiful shoes in the world at M&S only to find that they didn't have my size - the nearest store is Middlesbrough. Pft.

I have lots of work to do but I have a funeral tomorrow, so I'm keeping busy. Going to pack it in in a minute and go eat - hopefully Dan Snow will be on the one show and cheer me up

I've been packing all day and I'm knackered! Have just let myself get starving and just had a muffin on impulse. This week has not gone well - I'm still a dieting dunce.

I will do this, I will, I will. I feel hideous and do not want to feel like this any longer.

Going to walk home from work. It will take 1 hour but have comfy nordic walking shoes on - and I got them for £12 which makes them even comfier!
