Starting PEPping in January and over the last six months have lost 3 stone! Am really chuffed - looking and feeling good and wearing some lovely new clothes and really enjoying all the compliments I was getting from everyone.

Had a bad-ish weekend, with an extra bit of eating on Saturday night... decided to skip class on Tuesday to avoid having put on... instead of being extra good this week I have literally stuffed my face this week... chocolate, cereal, toast, chinese takeaway, humous, etc etc etc. I had 4.5lb to go to reach my target and I just weighed myself on my mum's scales and have put on more than a few pounds in my few days of gorging, doubling if not more my final pounds to target!!!

Why do I do it? What good does it do... when you feel like crap later on in the night for being such a pig, and then, if you're like me, think oh well "in for a penny, in for a pound" I might as well carry on stuffing myself until bed time...

I've started noticing how bad my relationship with food is...

Please someone tell me I'm not the only one who does really well, then thinks, stuff it, and literally eats her own body weight in crap junk food for five days. Eeeeek!!

Think we have all fallen off the wagon, some more than others. (I usually do at the weekends when I get too drunk) You just have to not dwell on it and put it behind you and start afresh. You know you can do it as you say you have already lost 3 stone, so get back to pepping, join in the forum for motivation and you will get there. sometimes it is really difficult but it will be worth it in the end.

Hi

You are certainly not alone!!

Remember. You have lost 3 stone - That is amazing. You've had a little slip, but stop! Put it behind you and work toward your goal. You are almost there. You CAN do it

I think nearly all of us have been in your situation!

3 Stones off is just amazing...and you should be so proud of yourself for achieving a fantastic weight loss.

Have a look at the clothes you are wearing at the moment...I bet they are around 3 sizes smaller than when you started SS.

That must make a huge difference to your mood and confidence.

Plan your food shopping before you go to the Supermarket, so you know exactly what it is you'll be eating for the coming week.

after just a couple of days you'll be back in the swing of things and feeling far more positive.

When your at Class buy a Daily Planner and fill in the usual foods and fluids bits, but maybe spend a bit more time on filling in how you feel about food, and then if you like, share it with your CM who will be able to give some pointers and advice on how best to get focussed and finish off the job you have so excellently started.

Good Luck, and keep us updated with how you get on.

Firstly well done on your 3 stone loss 2thumbs.gif that is fantastic Secondly as everyone has already said we have all been there at one time or another. Just Stop and think about how far you have come and just how short a journey you still have to go to hear that bell ring. Do what S suggested as this could help a lot and as they say the CM could give you some help. Keep posting.

Thank you all soooo much for your lovely kind words. When I left work today I was certain that I would think to myself, oh it's Friday, I might as well carry on being 'bad' and then start a-fresh on Monday, but thanks to all of you lovely fellow SSers I've had a PEP perfect day today and am feeling like my last seven days can just be counted as a massive blip to learn from and try really hard not to repeat!!

Finishing off today feeling much more positive (and not stuffed with chocolate!!)

Thanks guys!!

Hiya, if every one is honest most of us have had a bad few days that turn into a bad few weeks. You ll not have put on the 3 stone you have lost so if you get back to class and get back on track you will get there with the last few pounds that you have to go. We have to learn to forgive ourselves when we eat a bit more than we should. Good luck with your last few pounds. You can do it. You ve done brilliantly so far. xx
