hi everyone. I found this recipe in a british heart foundation healthy eating booklet, made it and it was delicious.

4 chicken breasts
plain flour for coating chicken (although i didnt do this and it was still fine)
black pepper
2 tsp olive oil
2 red onions chopped
1 clove garlic crushed
1 tablespoon paprika
150ml chicken stock
150ml natural low fat yoghurt

1. coat chicken in flour seasoned with black pepper. heat oil in non stick pan. saute chicken until golden all over. remove from pan and set aside.
2. add onions and garlic to pan saute 5 mins. stir in paprika and stock. return chicken to pan
3. bring to boil then reduce heat and simmer covered for 25 mins.
4. remove chicken then stir yoghurt into sauce heat for about 5 mins. spoon over chicken then serve with no check veg.

not sure how many checks but doesnt sound like there would be much in it.
just thought i'd share it with u all as it was very tasty.

recipe sounds great lipsmacking.gif must give it a try.

If you didn't use the flour and subsituted the olive oil for spray oil you have saved on checks.
Also if you were using the yoghurt as part of your every day bonus food then the only thing that you would count would be the chicken.

It is about 6 checks roughly per chicken breast.

All in all a nice low check meal.

That sounds lovely - will add it to my list of things to try. Have you ever tried smoked paprika? I love it! adds loads of flavour
