Found out yesterday my sister is expecting another baby boy so I am heading down to Preston on Monday with all of Thomas' baby clothes for her so I am determined to be good whilst away.

There is a local class to her on Thursday night (my usual weigh night) so will try and get to that. Hate using others scales though as not everyone's are the same but I must get to class...no excuses.

Just to clarify - are we counting our stone for xmas from when the challenge started or are we including our prev weight losses? (Mine was only 1lb laugh.gif )

Hi Guys, how is everyone this morning? hope you all had a good weekend!

Well, weigh in for me tomorro night and im a bit nervous. ive been really really good, even tho i had a takeaway and alcohol at the wekend i counted EVERYTHING, but its totm so i usually get a bit bloated and heavier. Hopefully mother nature will go easier on me this time so i get a good loss! I have 3 lbs to lose till i get my 1st stone off, and 11 to lose for the stone off for santa challenge so 3lbs would be great!

anyway, i hope your all well, and good luck to all weigh ins!

Hi Everyone. I'm back from my holiday and can start getting some of this weight off. I gained 6.4lbs while we were away. Not happy with myself but I'm going to stay focussed on getting as much as I can off for Christmas. Not had a chance to read everyone's posts yet...too much housework to catch up on today!

Well, W.I for me tonight and im quite nervous!!! Hoping to have lost 3lbs, so that i get my 1st stone off which means about another 8 to go after that (god, it feels like ill never get there!!)

Chickadee-Dont worry about the gain, you were on holiday and will soon get back into pepping. hope you had a good time!

sleonardi130- good luck for weigh in tomorrow. Remember dont be dissapointed if you dont get as big a loss as last week,that was an amzing loss and it has put you on your way!xx

I am hoping to get to the local class down here in Preston (Lancashire) but the past 2 days have been difficult to count the eating plus am nervous about getting weighed at a different class and on a different set of scales!!

Question - would you go to class and risk a possible gain or higher weight loss due to different scales or would you mark the week as STS and focus all your effort for next weeks weigh in?

Id just take the risk and go to a different class. Altho my cm always uses the same scales, the centre where my class is sometimes closes so we all get weighed in the car park. we get a free week for it tho, and its up to ourselves if we wanna risk the scales, but i just go for it!

Hi every1! Had my wi this morn n ive lost 5.5lbs this week so im really pleased wiv that smile.gif Its put me in the next stone bracket aswel so im all smiles jus now lol.

Great losses all around again!!! Pippa - I would go along to the class - you would have to pay for a missed week if you didnt go and at least if you go along you will get a good motivational pep talk. 1.5lbs off for me this week again xx

Great weight losses everyone! 2thumbs.gif I've been in bed since Tuesday with a virus (I think shucks.gif ) but feeling much better today. Don't know how my WI will go tomorrow as I haven't been eating regularly, if at all, and I've had chocolate today y_whistle.gif

Morning all....didn't make it to class on Thursday as we took the kids to blackpool however I did weigh myself when I got home to my sisters (she bought a set of scales for me,bless her) and it said I would have reported a gain of 1.5lbs sad.gif

1 week of not eating much and no exercise and that is the result.

I have a week to try and get back to the weight I was last time I went to class as I do not want a red mark on my card. I am back home now so should be able to get back to it.

I bought some new scales pippa and checked them against my old ones n the new ones say im 4.5lb lighter! than the old ones so ive had 2 update all my details for 4.5lb lighter. So mayb your new scales have a difference 2 so I wouldnt worry 2 much hun. chin up n keep at it! We all know u can do it 2thumbs.gif

Thanks...I weighed myself at home this morning on my own scales (left the new scales for my sister) just incase the above were to be true and I have definitely gained......back to the gym and steady eating and should lose that gain next week. Will let my CM know though as we are doing this very same challenge between the two of us aswel.

HI Guys, how is everyone?

Im totally not confident about weigh in tonight. Ive not been good at all, not saying ive been eating rubbish, but I have not counted checks the whole week. oh and i had a burger king. and a lot of alcohol lol! Pep head back on tomorrow tho, gotta get this weight off for santa, then more for my hen Doo, then finally get to target for our wedding!!

Hope u are all well, and doing a lot better than me pep wise this week lol xx

Lindsay, you are not the only one. I know I gained last week (well according to my sisters scales) but I hopped on the scales today and I definitely am up in weight. Weigh day is Thursday so have a chance but not holding my breath. Again, not been keeping track of what I'm eating or should I say not eating, as I havn't really been eating enough (in my opinion) my heads been in a different place the past few days and think that has played a big part. I really want to veg infront of the TV with a good film and lots of yummy food (most likely to be very fattening) and have a blow out but I daren't

0.5lb off for me this week. Feel a bit dissapointed with it but havent been excercising as much this week. Caught the end of a diet doctors programme at the point where they were showing you the woman before and after. They then had her speaking to her trainer who pointed out that she lost 1 stone in 8 weeks doing no excercise and a further 1 stone 5 pounds in 4 weeks once she started exercising (she hated exercise). That has really made me think and is going to motivate me at the gym.

Well Done Marina - 1/2lb is better off than on.

Wow, what a difference that exercise did for that woman's weight loss...yup I will be sure to up the exercise if those are the kind of results

Hi all. Not such a great week for me this week. I sts. I did eat a pizza tho n weighed myself the day after n that said i had 4lb gain! so ive been workin hard 2 get that off I swear Im off pizza now (til next time lol). Im happy with a sts so much better than gaining which is what i thort wud happen,

Don't know what's going on - I gained 3lbs over past 2 weeks (Missed Class last Thursday), very disappointed and confused. Will write everything down this week and see where I'm going wrong

Im also annoyed with myself this week, i gained half a pound and my oh gained 3lbs.

Only have myself to blame tho, and it still didnt stop me having a chippy tea lastnight (tut tut)

However, PEP head is back on today. OH made a big pot of no check soup lastnight for us to start our meals with so we can lower our portion sizes again. I just wanted to eat LOADS of EVERYTHING last week. I only had 1lb to lose till i got my stone sticker so iv really annoyed myself. never mind, ill do it this week!!!

I was thinking, how about having a daily or weekly challenge to help us keep to the pep, for example the challenge of the day/week could be to make sure that you drink 8 glasses of water or do some form of excercise or something like that. What do you think?

I gained 2.75lbs this week, it was my birthday on Sat 30th and I had a birthday WEEK, my bad - but I enjoyed every bit of it laugh.gif .

Sorry for taking so long to reply - have been working every day since i last posted (and nightshift tonight y_scared.gif).

I challenge everyone to do some excercise 3 times in the next 7 days. Good luck everyone!

On the weight loss front have managed to loose 3.5 lbs this week - woop woop!!! Think i must have had some water retention the week before.

Hows it going guys?
I havent had the best week pep wise. Had a surprise visit to Jimmy Chungs on Thursday which i hadnt accounted for (and how can anyone be good going there???) and have to say that i am rubbish at saving/clawing back checks. After being so geared up about going to the gym I also couldnt get motivated for it this week (eg went twice and didnt even do half of my workout) - so decided to have a few days off and start again this week. Think that i am going to start going to go to classes - wont be able to slack off and it might stave off the boredom.
On the very positive side though I somehow managed to lose 1lb which I am very chuffed with. Weighed in a day early due to not being able to get to class this week and being on nights all week. I have now lost 1 stone since i restarted following the plan 7 weeks ago (and 8lbs since starting this challenge) - woop woop. Totally dont remember the weight coming off this quickly when i did it before. Im all set for a very positive week - menus are all made and went and bought all of the food yesterday. Am also going to ensure that i write everything down this week.

Coming back with my tail between my legs - have had a very bad few pep weeks (couldnt bring myself to go on here or to the gym). Havent been able to get to class for the past few weeks either. Weighed myself on my home scales and showed a 3lb gain - eek!

SSSSSOOOOOOOOORRRRRRRRRYYYYYYYYY!!!!!!!!

I havent been on in ages. First was without a pc at work while changing to a new one, then internet wasnt working on it, then i was really busy at work, and at home, and then my gran passed away and had the funeral etc so missed 2 classes. So thats me back to work, and starting to pep again. I missed weigh in last night as i had my grans funeral during day so i dunno how ive been doing weight wise but i havent counted checks at all the last cpl of weeks.

As of today im back pepping, and still hope to get a stone off for santa!

well, i think i have to admit defeat! Was at wi last night for the first time in 2/3 weeks, and have put on 5lbs. cant say i was surprised as checks havent popped into my mind once over the past few weeks with everything else going on, however id hoped to have only put 3 on. so im now hanging my head in shame, theres no way ill get a stone off for xmas now. i just need to get some inspiration and motivation. think i need a night with my boost mags.

well done marina. keep it up everyone, i hope your managing better than i am xx
