sanwhich- 11
choc slice- 6
that 22 so far, dunno what to have for tea!
getting hair cut later..... any ideas of a style? thinking side fringe n shoulder length? tho have a round face so not sure if it'll suit me!

how long is your hair at the moment? are you looking to get something completely different or just a tidy up??
im getting mine cut on saturday, its about 2 or 3 inches past my shoulders at the mo so thinking either shoulder length or bobbed at my chin. Really like it bobbed but kind of having fun with putting it up into different hairstyles at the mo!!

I cannot get mine into a side fringe for love nor money. I have no idea what my hairs problem is! So I think I'm gradually reintroducing a full fringe (I really have no idea what's going on!) I got mine cut a couple weeks ago and then that gave 8 weeks until I was due my christmas one. Mine is just above my shoulders just now. I'm making an effort to grow it for various reasons but if I thought I could get away with it I'd have a short Danni Minogue bob.
I reckon shoulder length (or just above shoulders) would be ok Sarah - don't get it too short this time in case it doesn't suit your face - it's a fine line between short and chic and short and looking like a toddler when you have a round face (believe me I have done that!) How about longer at the front and shorter at the back? Not loads shorter but enough to give it a nice shape? xx

thanks for the suggestions!! its about 4-5 inches below shoulders just now. so thinking to just below shoulders and a long side fringe? ive got a cows lick so its a pain! scared to go any shorter, least this way i can still tie it back!! xx

Hope you don't mind me posting. Ermintrude, to maintain weight you have to eat the same no of checks as your weight in kilograms (although from what I've seen, people increase gradually) so you could increase you checks a little more and then go back down to see if that helps. Hope you see the results you want soon.

thanks book hunter, i have been this weight for quite a few years now so think i may have slowed my metabolism down to a ridiculous level! am going to try and up my checks v gradually but its not easy - people say maintaining is harder than losing and i am afraid to say they are right!!!

Morning all!
Despite the freezing cold morning I did make it to the gym. Feel a bit better for it and am currently firing through all the work on my desk!
Used up my spare checks on toast last night (I was cold and it sounded like a good idea) but then afterwards realised I'd have been better having some hot juice! I'll know next time!
Anyways, better keep going, got loads to do so will be back later on!

morning ladies! feeling very postiive today! hopped on the scales this morning and looks like they might be on the way down!
im having a virgin vie party tonight with fireworks! i have made sure i have saved some checks in the event of nibblys but to be honest think it will be ok - i never eat much on nights like this - too wary of going overboard and have bought a nice big bag of carrots just incase i get hungry!
working through lunch to make sure i can get away early! my one settlement looks like it might make it into the afternoon boo!

I feel smug now - I had mine done by 10.15!!

It's getting all my drafts out that's getting me today. I'm not even going to think about the title deeds I'll have to put to lenders next week!
I'm having a pal round tonight. Boyf might be working late or going to the pub later on. I'm secretly quite glad I'm not going to the pub with him! Although I don't know what I do about tea if he isn't home, it's meant to be pork and I don't really want to cook just one portion!! Going to M&S at lunch - might buy a couple of ready meals as a just in case for us! (Planning planning..)
It's a quiet weekend for us. Might go and look at some new houses that are being built. I'm not really keen on where they are but we thought we should weigh up all our purchasing options so we know what we're looking for in the New Year.

I am feeling properly lazy today. Still in my pjs waiting for my 2 low fat sausages to cook. Haven't been for a run. I don't think I can be bothered to be honest - also I have a bit of a cough today, last night I thought I was going to lose my voice I was so croaky. Will see how I feel after my sausages but I suspect I'll just have a lazy day! xx

How are you all? what a cracking day! fair lifted my spirits!! managed to do 10k in 45 min and wore shorts it was nice and warm!! only had a banana tday to help make up for yday, but going for a late lunch today with the girls to line the stomach for a wee night out tnite...... wearing a dress.... aaaahhhhh not like me but feeling fairly toned at the mo. How was ur run Carly?

Hi Ladies
Just thought I would tell you to hang in there. Most of this year has been a STS for me with the very occasional 1lb off meaning I had lost a miserable 11lbs all year.
It's been really frustrating but don't give up folks cause when we give up we tend to pile the weight back on again.
Try to think when we do eventually get to target we will be experts at the maintence part.
Anyways on a positive note I lost 5lbs this morning- I was so shocked I was on and off the scales several times just to make sure. Really delighted and hopefully this will be the start of stuff moving for me again, but now worrying in case I put some of it back on next week.

Feeling a bit better today. Was at Combat first thing this morning and I'll be at the gym again tomorrow morning. It's freezing here tonight - I've still got to make the bed as we washed all the sheets earlier!
Hoping for a good 2 pound tomorrow at WI. Honestly I've been so good this week I just need a good result!

Morning all!
4 day week this week, yay!!
I was at the gym in the freezing cold this morning. But I did it so I feel better for it. Legs feel quite tired now. Am going Monday, Wednesday and then I'll go when I wake up on Friday morning, there'll be no early nonsense for me on my day off!
WI is after work so I better not be a piggy today! Am quietly confident of a 2pounds loss but anymore than that I'm unsure. Food is all written down for today, got 11 checks spare so I'll have a treat after WI.

Probably go to the cinema on Friday daytime, then we're going to see Will Young at night. Not sure about Saturday and on Sunday we're going to see Al Murray (it's a busy time for gigs etc. at the moment for some reason!) Trying to save my pennies for christmas and I also don't really want to go out too much in November to get myself pep-ing properly! xx

Good news - 3 pounds off!! But I'm down to 45 checks now, that's going to be a struggle. CM has told me I can lose 2 and a half pounds for next Monday and get my first stone sticker so I have officially told my boyf I no longer want a birthday cake!!! xx

It's a bit warmer here today, only a bit though, I still need layers!
Got to sleep until 7.25 this morning (apart from when boyfs alarm went off at 5.15) so I'm feeling good today! Boyf has now text to say he's working until 9 tonight so I'll have to rethink my food for today. Will take a trip to M&S at lunchtime - it'll be a nice walk for me! Other than that I'm going to get on with all the work on my desk this morning to get things tidied up a bit!

THAT IS FANTASTIC NEWS CAROLINE! im so happy! and if it worked for you its going to work for us! had a fabby weekend and feeling slim and lovely today - just got to keep it up for weigh in tomorrow!
sarah loving the fitness kick! reckon i am going to do step and push and lift tonight! yee haa! did davinas abs work out for first time in weeks on sunday and im still hurting! i kind of like that! means some sleepy muscles have had a kick up the backside!

Ha ha I know how you feel Erm, 3 pounds off and I'm raking about in all my slightly too small clothes to see if they fit me now. There's really not much in it so I'll try again next week after the 2 and a half come off (here's hoping)
Am starving again today but I'm going to be in my 45 checks if it kills me today! If I can't do it the first day I've got no chance. So I'm on 9 so far, now I've gotten to lunch time I'll be ok I reckon. It's the mornings I hate as they seem so long! Off down to Markies in a minute, might stop off in New Look too for a look. I'd really like some knee high boots to put over skinny jeans. Not having too much luck finding any cheap ones though!

it was alright thank you! didnt think much of the lady that was doing it but everyone seemed to have a nice time! last lot went about 1am!
just been signed up to a 6 week course of cpd on wednesday lunchtimes! no way am i going to miss 6 weeks of weighins - especially when the first week i reckon i might actually have a good loss, (as long as i can behave myself tonight!) so will just have to come in early and make up the time so i can scoot to the weigh and go as soon as it opens rubbish!
good luck with the 45! make use of free veg!
oh i tried the crustless quiche from the new lowcheck no check book at the weekend - it was vg!!

6 weeks of Wednesday lunchtime CPD!? Rubbish!! I find it bad enough doing one a month. I'm going to one next week about alternative careers - it counts as 2 hours of management. Surely something isn't right there!!?
I'm doing ok check wise I think. I've got 8 spare for the rest of today so I must be doing something right. I almost had a melt down at the sight of a chocolate muffin at lunch but I've done well to resist! Managed to resist a jumper dress and some knee high boots too - I must be full of resolve today!

ooh sarah be careful of that carb thing - especially with all the exercise you do,, how about just cutting them after 5pm?? or avoiding all the refined ones?
weigh in for me at lunchtime eek! have been so good and the scales at home were showing me with a 2lb loss for the past 4 days until this morning when its back on! oh no! cross your fingers something postive happens for me at lunchtime - i dont know how much longer i can do this and stay motivated!!

Sarah how about avoiding bad carbs? But sticking to the good ones - a bit like the GI diet I think? Maybe that'll help you? Brown rice and pasta in a small amount could keep you ticking over? I eat the green and red pasta - but I've no idea if it's any better for me!!
No gym for me this morning, my sinuses felt really bunged up when I woke up at 5 so I decided to reset the alarm! Have taken some of those cold and flu tablets to kick out whatevers there - my ears did feel funny last night but I didn't think anything of it! Am going to Kasabian tonight so I'll dance around a bit instead!

ooh enjoy the concert Caroline! I was listening to Chris Moyles this morning and they were comparing the new kasabian song with their Barrack Obama song - it was just like it how funny!
Day is going ok i think - just having a cup of juice and cereal bar for my elevenses - still worried about lunchtime but what will be will be!
I am starting a cpd course today too - sign language in the work place, that is making me nervous too - i hate going to new places by myself - usually end up late or in the wrong place!

Where are you going for your CPD today?
My day is busy but alright. Getting my eyebrows done at lunch so have my thicker glasses on to try and hide the red. Thankfully I've had all my clients in for the day so I should be ok for this afternoon! After eyebrows I'll nip home for lunch, it's a bit easier eating there. I'll either have some soup or a cheese toastie depending on how I feel when I get home!
