Thanks v much Bookhunter for starting the thread - last week was totally mental for me! I even forgot to get weighed on Thursday but feel that the 3lb penalty was better than the real result

!

Evening all,
3 pounds off for me!!! I am so pleased! 2 and a half pounds until and I've lost my first stone, CM has told me she reckons I can do it for next Monday, that's a challenge and a half I think! But I'll give it a go. This is my first week of being 45 checks as well now. So I'm away to do my planning for the week. I think I might have to cancel the birthday cake for Friday because I won't get a good result if I have cake! Better start stashing away a few checks as well for Friday - this is going to be an interesting week...

That's a fantastic loss.
It can feel awful to lose those 5 checks. There are many cheats so you don't think you are being deprived e.g. eating butternut squash instead of potato (if you've had a carb afternoon snack, it doesn't feel too bad).
Having said that, I am not looking forward to it - I'm hoping to drop down before Christmas.

And yes thanks, Bookhunter, feeling a bit better today - still having some low days but hopefully these will get fewer as the weeks go by. I will endeavour to have a good PEP day today and that should raise my spirits.

I put on 1.5 lbs this week

. So annoyed as I had been 100%. Going to Edinburgh at the weekend so saving calories etc. Hopefully better loss next week...

Well done, Fergie on your loss.
Nickie, hope you enjoy Edinburgh.
I am very disappointed as I have had a very tiny gain. Not enough to count but I was expecting a good loss. Obviously saving checks isn't working (especially as I only ate about 30 on Sunday) so I will try to eat the full 50 this week.

Morning all,
We're doing well this week I see. As for any of the gains, I know only too well how disappointing it can be but stick with it - as Boookhunter says, it's bound to show up eventually

I'm chuffed to report a 2lb loss this week - phew!! Hopefully a step in the right direction and a great motivator!

I think you're right Bookhunter - my policy is eat everything you're allowed except if you're saving for a special event. Good luck for next week.

Good Afternoon everyone! Some great losses so far this week. 1lb off for me. Would have liked more but I had some wine, chocolate raisins, chocolate cake and peanuts at the weekend! Can't complain. Have a fab week everyone! xx

Well done, Chickadee.
I'm getting a cold which is affecting my asthma. I find that when I am like this my will power vanishes (it doesn't help that I know chocolate can help sometimes - I need to remember that caffeine is equally effective and usually NC). I will try again tomorrow.

Some fab losses this week - well done
I'm a wee stressed bunny at the moment - have taken on to much again and I'm running around like a dafty trying to a panto programme and set done as well as flyers for the next show... all this and trying to fit in work and family!
Unfortunately for me stress means eating so I'm not holding out much hope for a loss on Saturday

Know the feeling well, elle! I'm finding I'm a rabbit in headlights at the moment - so much to do and I can't do any of it!! Bite sized chunks is the approach that's needed. Will endeavour to do small bits and piece today.
Safaa is reporting a 2lb gain this week as am I - I seem to have lost my way recently - start off everyday in a positive mood but then it all goes pear shaped by afternoon and into the evening. My goal remains to get under 13 stones by Christmas - I'll see how today goes - if I can't manage it this week then that goal goes out the window.

STS same for me this week - suspect it is a minor miracle but I will just say thank you and hope it dosn't bite me on the bum next week....

Oh dear, I have to report a 2lb gain too ... Just playing at peping lately . No excuses really though up to my eyes in work and seem to be working all hours god sends .. Had a good day today though

Just poping in to say good luck to you all.
I have tried this week to get the team 1 post moving again but not had much luck.
Think it might be time just to put the teams together and go as a weight loss post. Let me know what you think.

hi guys, never made it to class this week but weighed myself at home and am sts. Cant seem to get back into it after gaining last week. Never mind gonna screw my head on properly this week and give it a good bash. This is what happened to me the last time and i gave up but refusing to let this happen again. I knew it wasn't gonna be easy so i am just sticking with it and hope it gets better this coming week.
