I have put on half a pound which I'm quite pleased about as it could have been a lot worse (and probably was last week).
I'm off for 2 days so I can finish my shopping and it's my niece's birthday on Thursday - not sure when the party will be yet.
Has anyone planned how they will PEP over Christmas? I am going to weigh next week and have a few strict days and then 3 days without counting but eating regularly and without going overboard Christmas Eve, Christmas Day and Boxing Day. I have ordered a Tesco shop to arrive on Sunday so I don't run out of anything.

Hi all. STS again for me. Phew!!
My Christmas plan is that on the days I have a specific meal eg Christmas day, work christmas dinner, Hogmanay and if we have people round, I'm going to be sensible prior to the meal and then I'll eat whatever I fancy during the meal. On non occasion days I will follow pep and because I'm going to be off work I'll be doing more exercise than I have been lately.
good work everyone!! xx

Hi everyone. I'm looking for a team that will keep me motivated and wondered if this is open to everyone. I'd love to join if it is.

Woody, we would love it if you join us!! Just let me know your weigh day and I'll add you to our list. This week is our last before the Christmas break and we will start weighing in again from Monday 4 January 2010.

Bookhunter you're so organised. I have completely lost the plot but I am hoping not to overindulge too much over the holidays - my husband is home for the full fortnight starting 22 Dec and we're going away for our 20th anniversary just after New Year. Will start afresh in January I think!!

Thanks guys. My weigh in day is Wednesday. If it's any help I lost 3lb when I weighed in yesterday for my first week.

Hello everyone, sorry 2lb gain for me.

My head is just not in it and I am going away up north over the New Year and it is going to be a food and drink fest. But my New Year's resolutions are to stick to the pep ridgidly and exercise three times a week for January and February until the 20th which is my wedding. Hopefully that incentive will make me stick to it!! Hope everyone has a lovely Christmas and New Year. X

Jemima, that's excellent. I've found in previous years that either you could carry on as normal for most of the time (and get weighed too) or pick a day to restart at least a few days before your next "proper" weigh in.
Carly, well done on your sts.
woody, welcome to the team!
Judenbob, hope you enjoy the holidays - sometimes a break can help you get back on track with renewed enthusiasm.
Flufters, sometimes a gain over Christmas is inevitable but the sooner you get back on track after the festivities (as you are planning), the easier it is to lose.
I am on holiday today and yesterday. I've got most of my shopping done. Just got a book to get for my step-nephew (I found a series yesterday - David Beckham football but they didn't have the first one) and a game for my niece - I'm waiting to see what is released on Friday. I've also got to order Audible gift subscriptions for my mum and sister.
I'm going to the gym today (unless it starts snowing heavily). I've got the added incentive that if I've done 10 sessions by 28th December I get my deposit back.

Elle, well done.
Diana, you must be doing something right to sts.
I have been avoiding chocolate today. Luckily I said a while ago I don't eat chocolate during the day so I'm not always offered it. I wish I'd had something this afternoon though. I didn't take my break as I was supposed to have a one to one with my manager and I was starving when I got home after the gym.
I'm going tomorrow even if I don't manage all the sessions I need - I've got to do 3 more and the Personal Trainer one on Christmas Eve. I'm babysitting on Wednesday and I'm not sure if I'll feel like going on Sunday.

I hope everyone has had an enjoyable Christmas and looking forward to the New Year! I've got "We Will Rock You" to look forward to on Tuesday and then neighbours for Hogmanay on Thursday. My husband and I are off to celebrate our 20th wedding anniversary on the 2nd - a well deserved break just the two of us. When we come back on the 4th I'm going straight to class to start the hard work in 2010 - this will be my year, this will be my year, this will be my year, this will be my year (if I say it often enough, it might just be true!!)
