gentle PEP- Taking it as it comes is not working for me.
I need to get my PEP working again .
So from now till the 6th of Jan, I am going to try to stay on track. It is the only way.
So it is Meatballs for dinner tonight for me. So my next mouthful is my starting point.
I must warn you it will not be plain sailing. I have a lot of stressful situations to get thro between now and the 6th of Jan 2010.
But I should not let that affect what I want. Emotion and stress are my food triggers, this I know.
So I will also search for things to use instead of food, when stress or emotion pulls the trigger.
I will continue to blog, but I must apologise as I will probably post quiet long comments etc on here.
The forum is so quiet now and I feel I should give back to get something out.
So please please feel free to join me at anytime either in my challenge or to comment on anything said here.
No invitation necessary.

and if you want, just imagine me sitting on ure shoulder watching you eat, we used to do that with eli and it was enough to make you stop and think

I need to be tough on myself, or I get nothing done.
Off to make dinner soon. But will read some more inspirational stuff before then.

I will be around over the festive season so feel free to drop me a line, and I promise I will pop in and see how things are going for you. I plan to have Boxing Day off next week as it's Steak Pie day in our house. Apart from that I am going to do my best to stick to my 50cx.

Well I know i need to bench mark and record progress.
Yes I need to be into this PEP. That for me is the only way, no half measures or it leads to what I have been doing for the last few weeks. KIDDING YOURSELF SPEEDY!

Building good foundations tho. Lovin the boards just now. Read Lisino's thread about over eatign etc. Great stuff. Loads to think about.

oh and im struggling too, i have had 36 checks and hope to stick to that to make up for my over the top party night, wish i had fruit in the house xx

have forgotten all about wanting to eat, been listening to music, looking for hubbys pressies, and taking a very kind donation from my bruv for christmas

oh maybe i can buy fruit lol hope theres tangerines left in the shops
i never buy food for christmas, i just eat at my mums lol but ive order £100 worth of food for the 28th to get back on track with healthy food

Come on ladies, you can do this!
I am on eating whats left in the house until after xmas and beleive me there is not very much.
Enough to keep me going on the PEP, will just have to be creative or very boring with my meals.
I am now trying my best to save cx for xmas. Not easy though, hubby brought 1/2 a chocolate fudge cake in today. I gave the kids one piece each and then handed the rest round to my mum for the Xmas day meal.
Oh and then we got 5 selection boxes from someone from his work. Grrrr. They are now in the kids sweetie box which is great as it's black so I can't see in to it, which works for me.
Good luck everyone. Everyday is a struggle especially just now- but we can do it.

Morning all
It's going to be a mad hectic day here. Got to get downstairs tidied today, finish off the wrapping of the presents and get to the gym. Then about 10ish tonight go and get thefood shopping with my mum.
Then I will be all organised.
Still have a bit of earrache but I will live with it.
Hubby brought home enough Turkey to feed the street last night- had almost a saddle left after a meal he cooked, so have been on the phone getting rid of most of it already this morning.
Here's my food plan for the day- thought it might help.
Breakkie- Muffin (6cx)
Lunch- Tukey Sandwich (11cx) Muller Light (EDB)
Tea- Gammon, mushrooms and 200g Pots (18cx)
TOTAL 35cx - saving some checks for Xmas (15cx) Might add something else later.

Porridge, milk, sugar
Tea 11.4
Soup, bread, ham, spread
Tea 14.5
Coffee- to prevent munchies at 5pm 3
So that is 29 checks less 4 EDB milk means 25 checks used and 20 left for T/dinner
Fish pie to night.
Ok here is the problem:-
I made the fish part inc peas in my "economy gastronomy mode". I ate one at the time and froze the other.
I have the potatoes for the topping boiling as we speak/write/read. They will be weighed and counted. Unsure what to charge for the fish part. So will call it 10 plus the spuds.
What do you think?

I was also going to get a big shop in next week! Need to 'clear' freezer and cupboards out so will be creative!

Thanks Shoe, that means I am within checks just!
Had so far today:-
Porridge & cuppa as yesterday but had extra milk so 14.5 checks
Soup & Cuppa 5.5 checks
Fruit to have all EDB dairy used means 16 used
Should manage to adapt my GOOD FOOD recipe Macaroni to suit checks left.
Regarding skintness:- Similar as most of us probably are.
That is another good thing about the PEP it means you need less food obviously. But I find it makes me mor eorganised and means less cash spent.

hello ladies, i'm up for trying to stay good till 6th jan. After 3 years of half hearted attempts i'm back in the zone with a vengence! I normally check in a few times a day as i log in on my phone, so i'm here if needed for support and pearls of wisdom! The support i've received through my blog has made a big difference to me x

Had good portion control on 25th. Yesterday did not eat much(have bad cold).

Will probably have a go on the scales tomorrow.
Happy PEPin folks, lets not drop the ball now. This I feel is now often the time when we allow any over eating to become habit!
A habit that is even harder to break on our official return to PEP in the New Year, for those of us who are just starting back as it were.

So you have "over checked" a wee bit , but you are counting , so you are still PEPin , tho over PEPin slightly.
You will be back PEPin perfect very soon, you maybe even are as I type.

afternoon everyone. forced myself to get out of bed before 12 oclock today
it did help that i had a tesco shop arriving after 10 and guess what it wont be here for another 4 hours!! upto 6 hours late. but they did phone and i suppose the roads are bad
only problem is, it has all my pep food in it, and the weans breakfast! oh well it was toast again lol
but im gonna try a chocolate free day, because its ruining my healthy eating plan

P.S scales say 174.2 tho not down to PEP but being full of the cold. Lets see if I can stay at this for my main starting day 6th Jan 2010.

Well it will soon be the 6th! Tho i have had a sneeky peek on the scales , not good. 3lbs up.
Today won't help but tomorrow start to reduce the 3lbs for the big start, come the 6th.
Looking forward to getting the S.S leaflets etc. from the papers tomorrow. Always a motivator.

Just thought I would pop back.
Can't beleive it will be the 6th soon.
I weighed in yest and managed to STS this week. So all in all over the 2 weeks managed to loss 3lbs so I am delighted.
Good luck for the rest of the year ladies. I am so glad the festivities are over now as they cost a fortune (worth it on the kids) but the food is just plain EVIL.

Well I am starting form tomorrow (4th). Eager to get started and want Mon to be a WI day. Helps keep me on the staright and narrow on the munchie Sunday see.

Margy- well done on staying the same. Enjoy your birthday it only comes once a year. And if you save a bit for it great it will help , but most of all enjoy yourself.
