Woooohooo.........the sun is shining (take away the fact its baltic!!) and I'm off work with my wee manny today
Just having a wee cuppa and waking up, Mack is "reading" his Bob the Builder book and munching a banana. I gave you the big spiel yest about me plans for today and nothing changed so thats what we are up to. Planning to head out fairly early and get cracking - if we get done in good time we will pop in for a wee visit with my Granny on the way home.
Russ is out for a wee while tonight so we have good old Auntie Nona coming to watch the monster whilst I go to Attack.
Carly - Thanks for that def, going to give it a bash. Good thing is its on just before Schwinn on a Fri and after Combat on a Mon so even if I was rubbish I could still go for the fun and get to my normal class too - bargin!
Jen - Good luck for a better day today Mrs, hope although your having a wee munch your still keeping your activity levels up? New plan remember?
Dinner was lovely girls - one of my favourites for sure. Its not in SS PeP book its one I adapted from a recipe on the BBC Website but I have calculated all the checks for it -
Sticky Sesame Beef - serves 2, 16 cx each
300g sirloin steak cut into strips
3 tbsp soy sauce
2 tbsp clear honey
2 tsp sesame oil
1 tsp tabasco
2 tsp tomato puree
1 tsp crushed dried chilli flakes
2 tbsp sesame seeds
1 bag sugar snap peas
1 onion
60g dry noodles
Mix together all the ingredients in a bowl except the sugar snap peas, onion and noodles - allow to marinade for 30 mins.
Wash sugar snap peas and cut in half, set aside.
Cut onion and soften in a fryingpan with a little water.
Boil a pan of salted water.
Wok or fry (non stick pan) the marinated beef over a high heat for 7-8 mins until cooked and sticky, after about 4 mins add noodles and sugarsnap peas to the pan of boiling water and cook. When noodles and peas are cooked remove and drain, stir in coooked onions. Serve half to each person in a bowl topped with half of the cooked sticky beef.
Enjoy.
Ps - I often use braising or frying steak instead of sirloin.

Hello My Merry Bunch of Musketeers!!
Well where do I start ... went to an awards ceremony last night that my mum was getting a presentation at and I was bad bad bad ... too much vodka, champagne and wine ... not feeling on top of the world today ... there was also a lovely buffet of pakoras/samosas, etc. I had a rough day yesterday with one thing or another so the wee blow out was welcomed with open arms. My chest is feeling much better today so I was hoping I could start the running again but the pounding head may put a stop to that!! Watch this space ...
Welcome Tray - we always love when people come and join us and there is always someone around or about to have a wee 'chat' with ... so get posting!
Babe - Fingers crossed for today.
Meg - hope you are behaving today?
Jenni - What are you up too?
Jaci - Have a great day with the wee scone - sorry I missed you last night - I was too busy quaffing alcohol!
Elle - Come on Chicky - together we can do this!
Sorry - I know that I have loads more to say ... but I must get some work done!! xx

Good morning everyone!
Feeling soooo much better today, everyday I get up and my shoulder is that wee bit more better - not sure if it is the tablets or if it is easing off - will stop the diclofenac tomorrow see what happens over the weekend!
MsB: WI tomorrow - trying not to think about it!! And I an gonna try that sticky sesame beef - sounds gorgous!
Megygogs - let me know how you get on with Booster, I have found very easy to stick to and am looking forward to my chinese tomorrow!!
Carly - your right - I have friends who go to Zumba too and they are by no means dancers, I think its just more about the exercise than getting it right isnt it
Jenny - Sometimes we need a good blow out - hope your not feeling too rough for long
Tray - Hi and welcome to the musketeers!!
Right am off to blog and fill in charts etc!
Have a good day everyone!

Rosie glad your shoulder is feeling a bit better. My only word of warning about co-codomol (spelling? sorry) is that they do have a tendancy to 'bung you up' if you are not very careful. I was prescribed them among other things after a car crash a few years ago and it wasn't fun
yeah the doc mentioned this to me and said to make sure I drink plenty of fluids and eat lots of fresh fruit and veg etc...so basically what I am already doing! But I am actually not needing to take the cocodamol most days, didnt have any yesterday or today so far, the diclofenac is helping the most. Only if it gets bad I'll take the cocodamol. But no, dont want to get bunged up as you say!!

Aw Rosie keep your chin up - its hard when you get an unexpected gain but it will definately show up next week. Sometimes you just retain a wee bit fluid.
Come on keep going - we are here to support you
Had a terrible night - the bubba was up most of the night - coughing and being sick.

Im soooooooo tired - i actually cried this morning when my 4year old wouldnt do what i told her.
My ex had his op yesterday - they have removed the tumor - need to wait another 2wks now to see if he needs chemo or not. Its such a waiting game - my nerves are shot.
Still trying to keep on the straight and narrow but its so hard. Can feel my positiveness slipping - probably just because im tired.
Got so much to do today as well - its my wee boys 12th birthday tomorrow and he is going away on monday with the school to dalguise - so got to get all his stuff organised for that too. Talk about having my plate full lol.
Will try and get on later.
Happy pepping.

Helllllllloooooooo (voice echos into the wilderness......)
Where are you all? Very quiet in these parts.
Actually I thought I had posted earlier, another one of those busy days where time just escapes me. Wee man had quite an unsettled night last night which means so did Mummy and Daddy, we are heading to bed very soon. Work was good, think I'm lucky to enjoy my job and the people I work with
been to spin, made dinner, ate it and have just finished writing next weeks meal planner and Asda shop on line.
MIL babysitting in the morning for my class and the we are off to a wee coffee morning for Macks nursery - think you pay an entrance fee and get a coffee and MUFFIN....eeek!
Amanda - hope your wee boy has a great birthday tomorrow, hope the temptation of the cake is not too much....and fingers firmly crossed for your wee ones Dad. No wonder you are exhausted
Rosie - chin up Mrs, these things happen. If you KNOW you have been good and active it will pay off eventually, sadly our bodies dont always work in 7 day cyles. If not, get back to basics, planning ahead and writing down - it really works.
Angel - welcome to the mad house
Elle - good stuff Mrs, back on track
LL - as you say its off, well done
Jen/Jenni/Laura/Julie/Lorraine/Shona - where are you all?
and finally a big good luck to the Saturdays, postings nice an early ladies....let us know how it goes. I'd love 2lbs off then I would be counting down single figures to target. Time will tell.

Morning All
Right charts all updated and raring to go for another week.....but first the important task of reporting in this weeks result.....OMG.........I have only gone and lost 7lb !!!!!!!!!!
I have weighed, re-weighed - weighed Mackenzie and re-weighed again to check the scales weren't broken but nope same result each time (well not when I weighed the wee man, cos that would be scary!
) So 7lb off it is...............dont know why, not that I'm advocating such bad behaviour but maybe me blow out on holiday has kick started my body again.
I'm sooooo excited, that only leaves me 4lb to target, I suspect I will need to be super good this week not to get a gain or a sts though. What a great week, 4lb from target and 3 pairs of size 12 trousers bought - woohoo!
Good luck to the rest of the Saturdays too, hope its a good week all round.
Audrey/Lynn - great to see you back with us.....even if you are a bit squiffy Lynn lol. Audrey cummon Mrs, stick with us hun.
Shirls - thanks for the good luck messgage for the Saturdays, keep them coming, maybe your my secret weapon
Amanda - Aww bless, glad your boys birthday is off to a great start.....oh pizza is a tough one, I feel some free soup coming on......
How did your wee one sleep last night? I'm turning into a burst couch, Mack was so restless again last night. Up at 12.30, 2.30 and 4.40 - he is really awake when he stirs and takes ages to settle again but there is nothing evidently wrong. I can live on very little sleep but broken sleep kills me.......5 hours straight through and I'll be ok but this an hour here and an hour there nonsense is not on !!!!! Russ was working at 6am so couldn't even make him take a turn, he is off tomorrow though so tonight will be a different story Mwah ha ha
Right going to post this now cos if I get a wee gremlin and lost it I'd be mighty

well woke this morning with only a surprising very light hangover, the amount i had lastnight thought i would be very ill today, now for the really good part, i lost 4lbs taking me to 14.5lbs woohoo have made my 1st stone, i'm so chuffed,
a few people this week have noticed my loss, even my brother who doesn't say much, he's said starting from now for every stone i lose he'll give me £50
amanda/jaci i've got the same with my wee girl not sleeping very well at night time but the funny thing is she'll fall asleep anywhere through the day, found her the other day sleeping by the back door!!! if she falls asleep about teatime about 5/6 we've found if we just put her to bed then she sleep most nights throught the night till about 7 the next morning but if she goes to bed at usual about 7 you can bet she'll wake at midnight and 3.30, no reason why she does it, never mind it will change when she's a teenager will have a battle to get her out of bed then, only another 11 years to go lol
jaci thats amassing loss this week well done
laura dont worry you'll get that 2lbs off soon

Jaci need to tell you that i cant come to the meet on the 29th btw, one of my friends has planned her birthday night out for then, so i am afraid i have to miss the meet. really gutted as would have liked to meet you all finaly, but maybe another time.

Evening all,
Well done to all the Saturdays, especially that 7lbs Jaci!
Will try and make the sesame beef next week it sounds lovely, thanks for posting the recipe.
Got up early, downloaded some new tunes and hit the gym. Did a good 50mins workout, hopefully I'll be back up at an hour next week. I had been thinking the new machines were tougher than the gym I used to go to. It turns out that when I was setting the treadmill to do what I thought was 6min 30/km it was actually 6min 30s/mile. So no wonder I couldn't do it!
Went into town for some bits and pieces. Specifically I wanted some spanx for my bridesmaid dress fitting this afternoon. I also got a new trenchcoat, bag and purse from Ollie & Nic and some eyeshadow from the bare minerals counter in John Lewis. I was a busy girl. Made sure I did lots of walking today as well as the gym.
My exercise has been much better this last week but my food not so good. My face looks a bit swollen, I guess from too much sugar. So the detox starts now!
This is becoming a bit of an essay! xx

Plan for tomorrow, go for a walk with hubby, probably 3 miles - maybe more, see how we feel. And thats it

Well didnt have my pizza yesterday - by the time the in laws left it was time for Cameron to go to my dads. He had a fab day though and has his laser quest party this afternoon.
PEP wise i wasnt great yesterday - just kind of picked all day and had nibbles after kids went to bed. Going to write it all down today and see what damage ive done. See if i can claw back over the next few days. Determined to get that 1lb off for my stone and a half.
Julie well done on the 2'5lbs off you must be chuffed with that loss. How did the baking turn out?
Laura you will have that couple of pounds off in no time so chin up missus

Morning Folks
Wow folks......what a difference a day makes, in several ways ....Mackwent to bed like a dream
slept the whole night
and Russ got up with him this morning
on the downside - the beautiful sunshine has turned to pouring rain
We had a really lovely day with MIL yesterday, coffee morning was nice and Mack enjoyed the bouncy castle, I treated myself to a wee bit mint cake but although I was bang on cx yest I ate too much choccy and bisc so today will be better
Just had breakfast and heading to attack at 9.30 - god that seems early to be jumping about, then its home for a shower, wrap pressie, get Mack all handsome (that should read MORE handsome
) and off to his wee friends birthday party. Russ is watching the footie, then I'm looking forward to pepper steak for dinner - yum.
Lorraine - welcome to the "Saturdays" you need to speak to Jen B to agree which one you get to be though lol.
Julie/Jenni - well done on those losses girls - great stuff - here's to another great week
Amanda - whew good avoidance of the pizza
and well done writing it all down - the only person we kid is ourselves if we dont. Try Jen B's approach and write the number 1 on your hand - everytime you reach for a naughty snack, its there to remind you of your goal this week.
Jen - hope you had a good night?
Audrey - whats you saying to it today?
Laura - looking forward to hearing from the new positive you again, remember keep it all in proportion, eat your cx and rest that poor knee. When your strong again you can totally kick A$$
Right better get shifted, get to class and catch the end of the marathon.
Happy Sunday lovelies xx

Had a flying visit from No1 son today, with a couple of boxes to go up in the loft, he is home for good in 3 weeks time, if what he brought home today is anything to go by, thank goodness we have a loft
Been watching the London Marathon, I would love to do it, I said I would like to do it before I'm 40, then 50, perhaps before I'm 60
Had a "takeway" Chinese from Tesco last night, chicken in black bean sauce, it was very nice
just away to work out the checks
Have a good rest of Sunday

Well didnt get to my walk yesterday - was pouring down!! So I did an hours aerobics instead.
My Dad and Sister were suppose to be coming for lunch, so I made lovely prawn wraps, they turned up half an hour late and my dad said he had to leave in 40 minutes time to pick someone up at the train station

so he got an earful from me - was not amused. So he said to make up he take us out for a bar supper tonight, so will have to be sooooooo good and make really good choices as I have no cxs saved.

Evening all,
Been a busy day. Found a combat class I don't need to be a member of a gym for so I'm not long back from there. I loved the new release - it was so tough and didn't let up at all. My arms are pretty stiff now so only good things can come from it.
Sitting watching the Madonna episode of Glee - love it!!!
