Evening all
Hurrah for the weekend. Well done all the Saturdays!
Good things I have done today include going for a run and signing myself up to start Zumba classes this week as well. It looks really good fun and will be a good substitute for body combat as I've decided to let my gym membership go when it expires, I can't justify paying for it every month when I'm paying a factor fee for the gym equipment in our new flat.

Hello Peeps!
Had a great day but am over on my checks but not too bad considering it is Saturday.
Got new specs today and can't see a bloody thing! Optician said I had to keep wearing them for 2 weeks but my vision is awful! Hope this does not effect my head!
Is it my imagination or do we suffer a lot of headaches as a group?
Huge congratulations to Jaci and Laura - you two are doing great at the moment - put me to shame!
Where are the rest of the Saturdays? Come on Peppers!

Just typed big post - lost it!
Not amused
Basically said good day yest but busy - was still doing the food shop at 8pm. Got a dvd - the boat that rocked, it was quite good.
My turn up with the babe, he was kind though 7am
just about to have breakfast, then its Pump for me at 10.45, Russ will take Mack to softplay. All home for lunch and the Old Firm Match (the reason I did the food shop last night) then we are off to Edinburgh to visit Russ's grandad in hospital.
Before we know it, it will time for dinners, bath and bed again ......then its back to work for me tomorrow
There is talk of Zumba classes coming to our gym Carly, not sure its my thing though, far too co-ordinated - I cant even cope with Body Jam lol.

I don't know why but I am shattered today!
Got to do 3 miles on the treadmill today as I am not getting any better at it. This coming week is when I am going to start really upping the pace

Evening all!
Nice day today, we went for a nice walk, cancelled our gym memberships, (got a month left though) and went to see my wee niece, she was on good form. Having a rest before an early night - planning to get up at 6 to go to the gym as I haven't in done that in ages!
Jaci - I like a good dance around, I would have loved to try body jam but no one seems to do it up here! I've heard good things about Zumba though and it looks fun, I do wonder how on earth I'm going to do all the moves at once, I suspect the key is to not think about it too much! I'll let you know after Wednesday!

Morning all,
Was up early for the gym. Didn't really fill me with energy like it usually does though. Feel quite swollen and things today.
On Saturday I had a hot chocolate and a small piece of cake - straight after I got a sore head! Think my body is trying to tell me something!

Hello everyone
I joined another class (from the dark side -ie ww) on friday. Needed to do something as eating was getting alarming!
So far so good. Have also stopped drinking diet coke - started this nearly two weeks ago and have so far only had one slurp. I used to drink this everyday
Flick - do you like cream cheese? if so i have found a fab mushroom recipe for you

It is lovely here in Edinburgh today but really cold! Not that I am suffering as I have cranked the heating up in the office - much to the disgust of my office mates that are going thro the menopause!!
Another day/week has started where I have major hungry! I thought my stomach was meant to shrink - I am sure I have heard people saying that in the past - why does that not happen to me!?!?!
Not many Saturdays reporting in over the weekend? Where are you hiding? Talking of hiding ..... I feel another roll call coming on ... but I should really do some work so I will keep this short.

It's a day off for me today at work, but was still up and at the gym for Spin at 7am. PEP so far today is good and have my food planned for today so fingers crossed.

Well this is my last week of maternity leave. Back to work next monday - cant beleive where the time has gone.
Jenny - im having a hungry week as well - no idea why - i feel hungry again right after i have eaten. Been trying to drink extra water to fill me up a bit but not working.

Need to start training for this midnight walk in may - whats everyone doing? havent done anything like this before.
Alot of the girls at work go for a walk/run in their lunch hour so might start that when i go back next week. WI tomorrow - ive been pep perfect again this week so hopefully will have good results on the scales. Going to have to change a different class when i go back to work next week so my weigh in day will change to a thursday.

I need to get a grip - wasted all my saved cx on ginger nuts last night - better go and update charts.....

Good evening all hows it going for everyone today. had a good day today and so far pep perfect heres tpo the rest of the evening. I even managed 1.5 miles on the treadmill tonight too.
Not much planned for the rest of the evening , just chilling and reading a book thats after i do the tea dishes, better get that done just now, catch up later

Good Morning all how are we today, not a bad morning here today . Been up since 6am this morning and got my exercise done, i have updated the exercise thread with what i managed. I am so postive and back on track, i even turned down a chocolate swirl cake last night .
Elle - Cheer up the 3lbs will be off in no time.
Jenny - How was your day ?
Carly - you will loose that 1lb and more next week, dont be too hard on yourself as you know you have been pep perfect .

Good afternoon fellow Scottish Slimmers!
Hope this finds you all in fine fettle! Me? I am cold but happy!
I decided that I am not getting any better at this running nonsense so I have decided to attack it from a different angle. I am going to run one day and walk the next (but on an incline) and also have one day rest. I seem to have stuck at 2.5 miles - I can manage 3 miles but it kills me and it makes me grunt and squeal - not what my neighbours need to hear at 6:30am!! If anyone has any hints or tips please feel free to let me know ... all help graciously received!
Lorraine - I am proud of you - keep up the great work and you will be back at target in no time!!
Meg - Glad to see you back - you are doing so well. Hope you get a car sorted out soon and then you can get driven through to meet us all!!
Elle - NO MORE HIDING MISSY! You know where you should be when you are being naughty - you need us more than ever!! Glad you have stopped the rot now tho. x

Nice to see so many posters back, dont worry about those little gains ladies - as I'm learning our bodies dont work in 7 day cycles and sometime our good work work be rewarded further down the line.

I'm sorry i've not been around lately, I've just been so busy with working extra shifts at work, we need to save for brother in laws wedding which is in Milan in July looking forward to it but need some extra cash to afford it
Well I've not read through all the post yet but I hope you are all doing well.
I'm pleased to report another 3lbs loss this week
I've been night shift all weekend went to body pump last night then toning tonight and will go to toning tomorrow.

and didn't eat anything after my tea as i wasn't hungry, which is unusal for me as night time is my horror time. It is my boss's birthday tomorrow and was busy making him a card so didn't feel the need to eat as i was busy

Also got another 1.5miles done this morning again on the treadmill ,thats 3 days running
Jaci - Stay away from the food, you are doing so well, try frozen grapes that works for me
Shona - Well done on the loss thats brilliant
Jenny - keep up the good work on the tradmill yuor doing brilliant

i tend to find if you run /walk whilst on the treadmill your recovery time inbetween whilst walking gets quicker and you are then able to run longer. Have you tried the 'runners world' schedule . You will find it on the internet

I would also like to pass on my positive vibes to you all, I am on a roll, haven't felt so good for ages - made it back to Curves and loving it again, its really helping me stay focussed.

Am still here and trying to get back on track - having one of those days at work but so far have resisted the urge to munch
Jaci I know you are on a lower check bracket now but could you reserve 5-7 checks a day for 'munchie' food - I know its not much but if you pick carefully and add in edb/no check foods it might pad it out. Sorry I'm probably not the best one to be giving advice at the moment

Hi everyone. I'm back after a two week binge. I've been feeling stressed about my new job. I've been doing a lot of reading (and eating) for it and have hardly walked at all. I weighed myself yesterday and I've been lucky and only put on 2 pounds.
I'm finding it really hard to getting back into counting what I eat. This is the reason why I always seem to give up. I even know what started my latest binge - a little 59p packet of custard creams that my husband brought in one day.
I've not read back all your recent posts. I hope you are all doing well.

Evening All
Just finished dinner, potato and mango curry....Mmmmmmm. Been to Pump and just watching Masterchef.
Last day at work tomorrow, off on Friday, work night out on Fri and then its the weekend - yay!
Still eating like a pig so not hopeful at all about weigh in on Saturday, not going over checks but taking it really close to the wire and not always on the best choices. Wish it was summer...........maybe eating fruit and salad will be more fulfilling in the summer.....sigh!
Thanks for the support guys, I have been keeping some cx for evenings but keep munching when I'm cooking....tonight it was kettle chips and viennetta - but I was semi in control and weighed and counted it. Thought better of my stupidity and decided to forego the rice and poppadums with my curry and clawed some back.
Right still got my muller and fudge to enjoy so coffee and bed I think......take care xx

Sorry not really been about that much- very busy week at work as the inspectors are in. SO it's busy busy busy, mad and mayhem!!! Worked late tonight and back in first thing tomorrow morning for another long day.
PEPwise I have been good and exercise wise I am ok although not going to go to class tomorrow morning as I am feeling pretty knackered.
I am in bed now and going to try to get an early night.
I will catch up with you all tomorrow properly.

Zumba was fab! I think it really works the stomach muscles, there was a lot of Beyonce style wiggling and a bit of belly dancing. It wasn't really like anything else I've ever done!

Sorry was not about yesterday/last night but I was out with my Mum at the theatre seeing 'DinnerLadies' - oh I laughed and laughed!! We went out for something to eat first and I have to say I was not the best behaved! Will fill in my chart and announce the bads news!
Carly - Glad you enjoyed Zumba - it is great to find a class you enjoy and then is it not a chore!!
Laura - Well done on staying on pep and being so well planned when you are so busy. You are right giving yourself a rest - I am on a 'rest day' today and feel a bit better for it. Kicking the running up a gear tomorrow so if you get an SOS text from - DRIVE FAST!
Jaci - Don't be so hard on yourself!! See how well you have done!! You are staying within your checks so enjoy what you are having for a wee while and you know yourself that it will jump back into place. You have said so many times that this is a life change and sometimes your body just wants what it fancies. You are still in control and will still be losing/maintaining so give yourself a break!!
Lorraine - I am on a day of rest today but I wam wanting to get 3.5 miles under my sweaty belt tomorrow - much grunting will be heard from my house at 6:30am!! My poor neighbours!! How are you getting on and are you still pepping nicely?
Meg - How is Booster going today? Good for you - when is your first Boodter weigh in?
Julie - How is the cross trainer working out for you? Miss getting your daily reports!!

Last day at work this week, phew its been a busy one but its flown in too.....
Laura - hope your working week is getting better, cant be fun having the inspectors in. Hope you have enjoyed a day of rest, your body will thank you tomorrow.
Jen - dinnerladies sounds fab, is anyone from the tv show actually in it? Thanks for the ticking off, dont be sure about the not gaining though and I promise its not cos I'm being bad but my body is just being a bit mental this wee while and after 5lbs last week I'm not sure what to expect this week
Carly - glad you enjoyed zumba, no excuses now. A class you loved and a gym on site - wedding dress here you come!
Ainey - so what was your meal, where did you go? Somewhere nice?
I have just had a banana and will be going to get ready for gym class soon. Then home to make dinner, going on a work night out tomorrow so need to get the fake tan out tonight!!!

Hope you all have a great Friday.....I'm just about to sort breakfast, get dressed and take Mack to nursery then squeeze in a trip to Co-Op before a couple of gym classes then straight back to collect the babe. My nephew is coming for lunch straight from school so two boys to feed and amuse.
Then tonight I have a works night out on town (Edinburgh), so heading out about 6.00 - looking forward to it but need to be super careful with cx. How rude to plan a night out just before WI.....rude, rude, rude!!!!

Great start to friday- been to Attack and boy it was great this morning.
Off now to plan my PEP, then into work for a while this afternoon.
Heading out shortly to walk the dogs then home for lunch, as I am working tomorrow will need to get some tidying done today- I HATE HOUSEWORK

Morning all!
Think I have man flu - blasting it with medicine, I've got too much exercise to do to be sick as well!
Bought some kettlebells last night and made o/h carry them home!

He was loving me as you can imagine! I'm going to try and use them 5 times a week to help me tone up, I've read good things about them so they better be worth it!

Well went to wi yesterday - (changed classes a week early) lost 1lb so was happy with that. Been really good so would have liked more but hey ho. Its a loss. Going to give the booster plan a go. Had a look through it and looks really good. Fingers crossed - will keep you posted on how im doing.
Meg booster really seems to be working for you well done on your loss.
Jaci you will be fine tonite - just have a fab time.
Carly - let me know how the kettlebells are - was thinking of buying them myself. Hope you feel better soon x

Going to the kids school this afternoon for an open day - they have been working on a project doing different countries around the world and this is the showcase of all their work. Should be a good afternoon.

Well as you can see my ticker has moved in the right direction and i have lost 3lbs today.
Didn't feel as though i had lost any weight before i went.
Feel alot better as not stuffing my face with rubbish and still off the diet coke. Have even done a bit of exercise.
Though I am going home to have a argument with hubby

Hey ho, another weeks starts here.......REALLY tired this morning, never got in the front door until 1am and have been up with the babe since 6am - its gonna be a loooooooong day. Going to Pump at 10.00, my sis is watching Mack, I'll collect him and head home for some housework and lunch.
Tonight will be a take away, dvd and a snuggle on the couch I think
