Morning ladies

I had to cancel zumba last night as I came over all dizzy and felt sick...I was in my bed for just after 7 but was up through the night! Still feeling a bitty ropey today...think I might make an appt with the GP or FP clinic as although I don't have TOTM with the pill I'm on...I still get some symptoms and have been feeling ill with it over the last few months and I've been getting lower back pain too....

Skippy...hope you are feeling better soon How soon to the wedding now??

Marion...I've been trying to get himself to do something different on a Sunday for ages...we always end up trailing round shops and I'm not a lover of shopping at the best of times!! Sounds like you had a great day on Sunday.

Skippy...yep the date has been officially announced as I was waiting for himself to ask J to be his best man which he has now done and J accepted...whew! Just to say champagne ladies I hope you will all manage to keep 15 April 2012 free in the evening?? I'm kinda gutted as the band I would loved to have booked aren't able to play at Maryculter due to some hotel restrictions but they have provided us with other suggestions though which we'll look at...I'm not going to look at sorting anything else out after that for a wee while....well try not to anyway!

Well back to work tomorrow.
Getting through holiday washing,though my whites are all manky with suncream,tried washing up liquid as suggested by a few sites I googled,apparently white vinegar is also very good so will try that next,just need to get some as its the brown stuff we use at home.
Carly think Skippy is right you should take an energy drink to gym with you.Hope you feel better today.
Nicky ,shame about the band,hope you feel better soon,maybe a change of pill?

Marion...aye...we're getting hitched on a Sunday! So much cheaper!! We wanted the following Sunday as it's before the holiday Monday but it's already booked...boohoo!!

Di...maybe that's what I'm wondering too...I'll speak to my GP or the FP and see what they say, ta. Hope you get the suncream out of the clothes...I remember all my clothes used to smell of suncream for all and eternity after being on holiday abroad...it's been a while though...hopefully we'll get a wee trip abroad after oor wedding....

Oooh glad you've got a date sorted Nicky! Why are they being funny about the band? We technically booked our band before we booked our venue. I seem to have subscribed to all the wedding hysteria and booked things super early just in case someone else got there first! (Which reminds me, must go and email the woman I want to make our cake, I bet I've left it too long now and she's booked) My wedding countdown says 389 days to go - which is a lot more exciting than the 400 days it was the other week!

Not a big fan of drinking whilst I exercise - it seems to make me feel a bit queasy. Am going back tonight (although have stiff legs!) and that'll be me until Friday but I'll go a bit earlier tonight and hopefully that'll sort my blood sugar.

Di glad you enjoyed your holidays - suncream and swimming pools seem to ruin all my holiday clothes! It should come out eventually though.

Audrey - glad your o/h is ok that must have been really scary for you!

oooo Carly...that's just over a year now!!! Who would you like to make your cake??

I'm lucky my mum is a super ace baker and will be making our cakes and I've grovelled for royal icing as it tastes so much better than sugar paste!! I'm relieving her from decorating the cake though by buying a cake topper!

It's the photographer I want to book after the band is sorted!! That's why I'm planning on going to the wedding exhibition in the Beach Ballroom in October and the YWE in January at AECC plus to watch the fashion shows!

I didn't think I'd get carried away with wedding stuff but....I am!! I think I've waited a long time though so I'm entitled to be!!!

And..Skippy...yes we will all be at target!! I'm taking it in 7lbs targets but it would be fantastic to be nearly there by my next birthday as I'll be 40!! eeek!!!!

I would like Bev from Cakes by Design, she did my friends cake and it tasted fab! We did venue, band and photographer then we stopped and that's us started again now. I'm looking forward to the October wedding exhibition as that will be stationery day! The January exhibition was photographer day - we were exhausted just from doing that and o/h got in a right huff with all the people there in his way but it was a good way to narrow people down without having to make loads of appointments.

You think you won't get carried away with wedding stuff but I am full on Bridezilla! (I just like to call it organised!)

Hello soots! How are you missus???

My aunt knows Bev well as she has met her a few times at exhibtions and they did a wedding showcase recently at the Carmelite together If my mum couldn't make our cake, I think Bev would be our (my!!) choice! Bev has a page on FB.

My aunt makes wedding stationery so we're being given that which is brilliant...think she is winding down though. I really like Crafty Cards (Dawn), You're Invited and Kevin Lynch designs for stationery

Oooh I'll have to look into those for stationery. I saw some cards at an exhibition last year that I thought would be lovely for save the dates but don't know who it was who had them! I don't know what I'll do for invitations as I don't have a dress, so don't have a theme!

Didn't go to the gym, had a sore head and just felt it would be a waste of time as I wouldn't work very hard. So I'm here in my pjs and wondering when I can sneak in some exercise tomorrow or thursday, otherwise I won't have done any exercise before Friday!

Seems that I picked a good week to be off weather wise. Was all set to go to Fogie yesterday but cousin phoned at last minute to say hadnt had a good night and did I mind if i didnt go, lets hope they get on with her treatment soon As was a nice day
phoned and asked my Uncle if he want to go out Julie was there so the 4 of us went a lovely walk I then came home and did garden. I was at my Mums today and had a nice walk round Inverurie and got a nice top for M & Co for a 50th bday party I have tomorrow nite

Nicky - where are you?

We went to see Spamalot on Wednesday at the theatre. It was really good, we had a good laugh! My food hasn't been good. is what I've needed. I can't bring myself to go to class tomorrow so I'm going to go for a fresh start next week. I've been getting in right panic about wedding dresses (I'm about a stone behind where I wanted to be right now!) and it's made me reach for the cupcakes! So, I've come to a decision - I've made myself a mini goal and then I can make dress appointments. That should keep me right. If I get stressed then I eat so there's no point worrying myself as it's clearly having a negative effect on me!

In other weddings news, I've pulled my finger out and booked Bev so our wedding cake is safe!

Skippy a hair cut makes the world of difference. I'm just waiting to get paid so I can get mne done, think I need a fringe back in as my face is looking boring! xx

What a wind, still, fine drying day, got Number 1 son's bed stripped, and all back on, smelling lovely and fresh (he's away to Glasgow this weekend, VERY sore point with his Dad ) Mum's bed done too

Speaking of Mum, we are taking out for the day tomorrow from here to Lossie, Kinloss, Forres, over the Dava to Grantown, Tomintoul, Aberlour, (popping in past cemetery with flowers for OH's Mum and step-dad), Glen Grant for coffee, then home. Away to cook chicken just now so that we can have it cold with salad tomorrow night, nice and easy

Afternoon all,

We went out for dinner on Saturday night then went for a few drinks. I ended up spending all of Sunday either in bed or being sick At first I thought I was just hungover but I'm pretty sure it was something else now. Have taken the day off as I still feel totally wiped! Feel sorry for my o/h though, yesterday was his birthday and I couldn't even give him his card, I could barely stand!

I haven't been to the Radley shop yet, but I'll have to pop in for a look! xx
