Well, 2009 was a bit of a waste from a weight loss point of view - in fact, I am heavier now then I was this time last year but alot has happened in that time and my life has moved on dramatically - we bought house, then had to leave it to move up to Ellon but we are now very settled and loving the life up here so time to focus on myself again and get down to business - I am getting married in 113 days - I definately amn't going to be at my target or anywhere close by then, but I need to focus on losing as much a I can and setting myself in good stead for getting to target later on in the year!

In the past my resolution has always just been weight related but this year I've decided I need a total body/mind overhaul and so I am going to keep a track of how I am getting on with my resolutions on this thread - I need to keep a track and write down what Im doing otherwise I go off the rails!!

So, my new years resolutions (all in a bid to help me get ready for my wedding.....) -
  • drink at least 1.5l plain water a day
  • go out for 3 45min walks a week, no matter what the weathers like
  • get into a proper routine for my skincare and stick to it
  • do my toning exercises every day - whether im tired or busy or........any other excuse!!
  • go to class EVERY week y_whistle.gif
and finally

  • laugh more and live for the moment instead of stressing out about the small things in life butterfly.gif
I will be on every day to post no matter how busy I am - I need to focus on me for a change!! y_cloud9.gif grouphug.gif xx

This weekend has very much been about easing myself back into a PEP way of thinking but am back 100% perfect pepping as of Monday y_innocent.gif

As far as my resolutions go....
  • yesterday and today saw me drinking water (which I havent been doing at all recently shucks.gif ) but didn't mnage the full 1.5l - must make a concerted effort tomrrow
  • have devised new skincare routine and now just need to make sure I stick to it - my downfall is evening time where I have a tendency to go to bed with make up on - not good shucks.gif
  • have done toning exercises of some description the pst 2 days but really need to sit down and devise an actul plan- will get bck to you all on that one!
  • haven't been out walking - can hardly get to the end of the paath and went my length when walking out to the car earlier - am now the proud owner of bruised arm and hip y_scared.gif

You're doing well though, sometimes you need a few days to adjust don't you?xx

Weekend was really about easing myself back into a positive way of thinking - starting 100% tomorrow though so no excuses!

How have you gotten on today? I've found it ok to be honest which makes me wonder why I've been such a pie the last 2 weeks!

Well we've narrowed it down to 2 places. We're going on a 2nd visit to one on Saturday and I'll arrange a 2nd visit for the other for this week too. We're looking at August/September 2011 which a couple of weeks ago seemed ages away but now we're in 2010 it doesn't seem far away at all!

So exciting for you Carly - it'll be here before you know it! We booked ours 18months ago and it only seems like weeks ago y_shock.gif

Didn't manage on yesterday - drove back home in the morning then was working 1-11 confused.gif Pleased to say it was a good PEP day though and today has been perfect day 2 - feels great to be back in the swing of things again 2thumbs.gif

Iv had my 1.5l plain water, iv done my tonning exercises (from my new plan which il post 2moro as Im knackered!) and my new skincare regime is well under way! Not been out walking - can hardly get down my drive but will go to the gym 2moro after class. Starting back class 2moro evening - going to get a new card and fresh start butterfly.gif

Only 110 days until the wedding - AAARRRGHHH!!! Better get my skates on laugh.gif laugh.gif laugh.gif xxx

90 something days till the wedding and im getting a wee bit edgy with the weight loss, the paying for things, the invites, the guest list (what if we leave someone out) blah blah blah !!

Heelllooooo! I've not disapeared or fallen off the wagon....Iv just been really run down and ill, so choked with the cold that I haven't even mustered the energy to turn the computer on confused.gif

Pepping going well (I think!) but haven't made it back to rejoin class yet - definately rejoining on wednesday though so I know exactly where I am.

Booty, I know the feeling - I was ok with wedding stuff until January hit and now its creeping closer and closer and I still have so much to do!! We have the day guests sorted but trying to do an evening list is proving tiresome!!

I tried on my dress again at the weekend when my mum was up - its looking ok apart from about 2 inches of zip that wont do up! Need to keep up with PEP and toning exercises - am noticing a difference but I can't take any days off, there's not enough time for that!! Got my veil and lingerie delivered at the weekend aswell - it's all starting to come together 1983.gif

Booty, I went to a Bobbi Brown counter in John Lewis and got a proper skin care consultation (did one last year aswell but thought I'd better check if my skin types changed). The stuff's not cheap but it lasts forever and works a treat - I use soap and glory's hot cloth cleanser in the shower in the morning followed by BB vitamin day cream and eye cream the at night I use BB latering tube soap, followed by the skin tonic and eye make up remover and night cream (sometimes add in the skin serum as well if my skin's dry). Twice a week I add the buffing grains into the tube soap as an exfoliator. The difference in my skin since getting into a proper routine is amazing butterfly.gif I love the stuff!!


I've not been out walking much due to the weather and me feeling rubbish but am back to work today and am walking - 30 mins each way 2thumbs.gif

I've been doing well on the water front as well with at least 1.5l every day for the past week 2thumbs.gif

Walking = going fantastic, really enjoying the walk to amd from work and have walked into town and back today 2thumbs.gif

Toning exercises = fantastic! Done them every day and even packed my resistance band for staying at my mum and dads tonight!!!

Water = have drunk 2 litres yesterday and already had 1l today with my bottle refilled and ready to be drunk before bed y_innocent.gif

PEP = have stuck within checks even though I was out for dinner and drink yesterday and lunch and drink today 2thumbs.gif Feel much more in control and still able to enoy myself and live life without going mad!

Skincare = think combination of new skincare regime+ lots of water is really paying off - skin is so much brighter and clearer 2thumbs.gif

Have decided against going back to class t the moment - Im getting on fine PEPPing at home just now and can't justify paying for class when Iv got the wedding and honeymon coming very fast! Will weigh at home instead when I get new scales but am also gauging by how my clothes are fitting.
