sorry i wasn't on over the weekend - I try to stay away from PC's at that time
but the night out was good We Will Rock You was fab and would love to see it again.
the idea with the sweets worked well except that we couldn't find any pear drops so ended up with lic allosrts and strawberry lances all counted to perfection and what an idea.
the spiced beef was alright - not sure i would have it again though - possibly once just to try it again.
chicken korma went well - unlike the badminton and lost every single game
BTW - Well done Claire on not cheating yesterday evening I'm real Proud of you
so today is a new day and its day 6 for me and the plan is
B - Porridge 4 checks
L - slim a soup 2, mini oatcakes 5, yog 2, apple and orange
D - Cottage pie ( yummy) 14 checks
total so far 27 checks hmmm here we go again to add some
so peas 3 with the cottage pie and I'll have an options and a flump ( which is now only 1 check!) so that 2.5 for a slimmer version of hot choc with mini mallows
I might also have the rice pudding for dessert +7
total 39.5 - better than nothing so far. I'm off from Friday so the idea is to save a few checks to allow for nibbing and extra milk for tea (but 9.5 is too much)
I'll bolster it up I always do

So its kinda screwed up my menu for the day but i'm sure i'll get it all sorted!
B - 30g Cornflakes and milk 4
L - Gnocchi and creamy tomato sauce 10, kiwi edb, yoghurt edb
D - Not sure yet
Supposed to be back to training tonight, but not when the roads are as bad as they are!!

What a morning i've had so far, been here 3 hours and feel like i have achieved nothing so far!
But i have ignored the boxes of chocolate by the kettle! I had a hot orange instead, see, determination!
I really hope this sniow gets a shift on soon, i'm finally getting to go for my 2nd dan this spring, 6th of March, its not that far away!
See, getting back to the gym and exercise is half the battle, makes it easier in the long run!

I'm thinking that i need a challenge for next week....

Jan 13 2010, 09:39 AM
wellI didn't have the choccie biccie i wanted on Monday - I had the tic tacs in my bag ( this could be a new tactic me thinks)
but I didn't stay away from the bicc'ies yesterday

BUT i did count them and i had a wee bit of a binge on popcorn
but pep perfect as I use all my check plus those saved.
Today is WI day so despite it only being 5 days after stepping on the scales I'm lighter by 3.5lbs so quite happy about that.
My Menu today is
B - porridge with sulatans raisins cranberries - 5 checks
L - soup 2, oatcakes 4 cheese 1.5. I might be out for lunch but it's at our bistro so I could buy soup or slald to go with what i've got!
D- cauliflower and broccoli gratin 9 checks - hopefully grab a dessert somewhere to!
total 21.5
I know it sounds not a lot but I'm quiz prepping again so munchies will attack. I have flumps and prunes and fruit so Just in case.
I'll come back with a better menu. We'll see how it goes
Hugs to all

I have a wee book that i plan all the main meals in, thats for the food budget (lean times these!!) and then i have my food diary, i try not to plan the actual day today more than a week in advance, i am terrible at changing my mind!!
I think i'm going to have a look for some different lunch time recipes, its gets a little boring recycling the same ideas every 2 weeks!! I love the idea of the Bloody Mary soup, do share!!

I'll post the receipe from home as the recipe is there - From my slow cooker book - I'll post a few more titles and see what you like the sound of.
I try only to plan dinners as theya re the awkward ones as I can get pretty busy and forget to eat - sound stupid - or eat the wrong things - like a latte and cake from tinderbox on the way home from burlesque to the gym!
I'm finding that if its planned i'm sticking to it - it may change slightly but not that much

Jan 19 2010, 10:47 AM
ok confession time - i didn't have a good day yesterday 3 checks over and all the s*** under the sun so trying to be ultra good today.
I've been to the gym and know i have spent 250 cals on cardio and that was hard! and a few strength exercises. Needed to check my plan but the card has gone awol - again- and no-one about to check with so this maybe the chance to get a review and a new programme!
at least i'm doing something - I'm going to try and go again tomorrow morning but no promises.
todays plan
pre breakfast - banana 4
breakfast - special K 6
lunch - got no idea - poss soup bread fruit salad 6
dinner - maca cheese 13.
College starts tonight for millinery and I managed to get the last place for burlesque tomorrow so everything back into routine again.
I'm going to go for a shower then cook some bloody mary soup and try some gingered carrot soup ( on the hob as opposed to slow coker)
I'm sorry you ache today but I'ms ure that will ease off real soon - well I'm hoping that.
maybe if we done it every day it would never get sore
claireabelle63
Jan 19 2010, 11:01 AM
atleast you are fessing up!!
I don't think i could do that kinda exercise everyday, i swear it would be the end of me!
Well done on getting to the gym, see, its all about routine and you're doing that!
I've just gone through a pile of paperwork and i can't find what i am lookign for, i'm so bloody minded i'll not give up!

I had a lazyish night last night, i made a pan of vegetable broth and i did some stretching but that was it, roll on the longer nights, atleast i'll feel more motivated to do stuff then!!
Weigh in tomorrow so i just have to remember that and stick to my plan for the day.
So, todays menu
B - 30g cornflakes and milk 4, 100ml fresh orange 2, toast and jam 4
S - Yoghurt edb, pear edb
D - Broth and roll 10
