Didn't get the coffee and cake, Dylan was getting grumpy, so i've just had 4 small crackers and some low fat cheese, counting 7 for the lot.
so 10 for breakfast, 7 for lunch and 10 for dinner tonight, and 8 for my snack this evening, gives me a total of 35 for thday, i might jusr save the rest, i'm feeling quite grotty, about to go have a lemsip.
just got another rejection letter for a job i applied for, didn't even get as far as an interview

Pleased to report a wee half pound for me this week, if you look at it over the last 2 weeks for me, thats 4lbs off, i'm happy with that!
I have got the lurgy though, along with my sore legs still (yes, really!!) i feel quite rotten. I'm really wanting to go to training tonight to try and see if i can get my legs to work, but i'll wait and see how i feel come 3pm, i've got lemsips so i'll have a couple of them.
So the plan for today
B - 30g cornflakes 4, 100ml fresh orange 2, toast and honey 4
L - Spicy rice and beans 10, yoghurt edb, fruit edb
S - Vegetable broth 4
S - 2 oaties 6, hot chocolate 2
I know that only gives me 32 for the day but right now, food isn't on my plan for today!!
I'm on days off now, but i'll pop on later

Well done on the half pound 4lbs in two weeks is commendable my dear - your buddy is well proud!
I was meant to be going for coffee and cake tomoorow with strathclyde Fire and rescue but Tony dumped me to be in the newspaper! so thats a free day.
It only a quick post as I'm off to the gym ( again but no motivation this time) then i'm going to assess whther i can get out on my bike or not or should i stay in the warm. Can't believe that spring fever has got to me already!

Bikes - i'll be there - you can stay with us if yo want for the weekend if yuo don't get a better offer!!
Not going out looks nice but its brass monkeys when you put windchill on!
gym - easy (not) but i done it and washing is away and my stomach is telling me its lunchtime so i'm off to raid the cupboards
soup and toast and yog and crisps is appealing to me at the moment whoknows - ahh cous cous is calling from last night - sothat and monster munch me think! with fruit!

I didn't have the spicy rice and beans, i had noodles and spicy veg instead, i was a wee bit skimpy with the spices though!
I'm going to training tonight, i'll feel the benefit of it i reckon, it might help with the cold.
Not sure what we're gonna do the weekend of the bike show, not sure if we're gonna do one day and home again or stay over somewhere, i suppose it all depends on the cash flow, its later in the month this time though.
Well done on the gym, i've been tidying of sorts, cleared out the box in the cupboard with all the plastic tubs in it, i'm a terrible hoarder, it should stop that really!

My cold has reached the itchy stage,
You know, when all you want to do is sneeze or scratch the back of your throat! I hate having the cold!!
I managed to have a wee blip last, it wasn't much, but quite annoyed with myself this morning, but its a new day and i'm going to start it brand new, should have no surprises this week, no going to friends houses and having fish suppers!
Training went really well last night, well apart from the 2 stitches i got and could not get rid of, i couldn't breathe through my nose so took ages to control my breathing! The good news is that we did the same workout as we did on Monday and my legs don't hurt today, ok, so a wee bit achey, but nothing compared to Tuesday!!
Nothing much planned for today, i've just got to make a goulash for tea, thats it really, i'll chuck it all in the slow cooker around lunch time, and then do the mash to go with it, need to do the food shop tomorrow and thats it, i don't think Andrew has any overtime for the weekend either, which is a bit of a worry at the moment with me having less hours, it'll get better soon, i hope!
So, my plan for the day
B - 30g cornflakes and milk 4, 100ml fresh orange 2, toast and jam 4
L - Broth and roll 10, fruit edb, yoghurt edb

I'm still here, have a pounding decongested head headache though, i really despise having the cold.
Andrew has no overtime this weekend, trying to keep him out of mischief when he has no overtime is grand, especially when you have to do the food shop, i suspect he hates that task more than me.
So plan for today
B - Fresh fruit and yoghurt free
L - Sweet potato and lentil soup 5, 2 bread and soft cheese 7
D - Creamy chicken and rice, corn on the cob 20
Gives me a grand total of 32 for the day, so plenty to spare, i usually have a glass of wine with dinner on a Saturday night but i don't think i will tonight, i just feel grotty!!
Oh, and for those of you in the know 130 days to go.....

Moving swiftly on from the weekend....
I wasn't the best behaved i have ever been and if the scales provide a loss on Thursday morning will be utterly lucky!
I haven't been in the best of humours, spent Friday into Saturday wide awake worrying about money, to be told by Andrew yesterday morning that overtime is back on and that we will manage, ok it'll be tight, but we'll manage.
So, brand new week and training tonight.
Plan for the day
B - 30g cornflakes and milk 4, 100ml fresh orange 2, toast and honey 4
L - Gnocchi, veg and creamy tomato sauce 10, pear edb, yog edb
S - Fruit and creme fraiche 2
S - Soup and roll 12
Gives me 34 for the day, i know its under. but i've got training and the last thing i feel like doing when i get home is eating.
Now, for all my worrying about money, we went to get a couple of voile panels for 2 of the windows yesterday and ended up getting paint to do the kitchen, we got it all finished about 10pm and its really nice, i can't wait to see it in daylight, talk about doign stuff on impulse!!
I'm also concerned i'm not active enough, so last night Andrew bought me the new Davina workout dvd, which i plan on doing 3 times a week, and hopefully the improving weather will mean i can get out running again soon! Fingers crossed anyway!

To be honest, its not been the best couple of days.
Drew a line under it all this morning and it all starts brand new today, i'll still weigh myself on Thursday morning, got to take that one on the chin i guess.
I need to remember and eat all my checks everyday, it just really difficult to know what to do on a Monday before training, trying to get the right balance, i can't eat too much as i get half way through class and feel sick, not a pleasant feeling!!
Speaking of training, went really well last night, a very circuit based class, all in all i did the following -
12 minutes of skipping
3 minutes of press ups
3 minutes of sit ups
3 minutes of squat jumps
I swear i am going to have legs of steel sometime soon!
Only have two hand forms to work on properly and i need to try and refine my bo staff forms and i'm all good to go, just need to keep working on the fitness, i'll be just fine.
So, my plan for the day
B - 30g cornflakes and milk 4, 100ml fresh orange 2, toast and jam 4
L - Spicy cous cous and veg 8, yog free, apple free
D - Bacon and pasta 14, fruit edb

Hey Sweets - sorry for going AWOL its been a hetic few days. Not been good with my choices and checks have been carried becuase i've not be eating - just like you so thankfully it will all change now i'm back at work.
I too have prob's working out what to eat before college and classes so i'm going to try and tackle that on head on next week - as no college tonight and In edinburgh all day tmw so no major problems hopefully.(except the buffet)
Todays menu:
Porridge 5
Tea - 2 bics = 4
lunch - slimasoup 2 oatcakes 5 and yog 4 fruit salad EDB
Aft Te - SF jelly
dinner meatballs with wholemal pasta - 15 checks
poss yog for dessert ( bought loads) 4
Total planned 39 - allowing for a hot choc and flump (which are now only 30 cals )
Sending you hugs mrs just because you are you and we will get over these challenges that life throws at us

will someone please not I got here before Claire today - thats unusual - hope she's alright!!
So another lb off for me today well to be precise 1lb and 2.8oz. so feeling a little chuffed at that seeing as I expect a STS with being off last week and not eating properly for a few days.
so my wee treat to myself is allowing to take part in the buffet that we are going to have at our afternoon meetings and have a light dinner.
I will have my tic tac's in my bag as my rescue remedy which seem to help.
therefore I have nothing planned foodwise - tut tu for the first day!!
but feeling good I have broken the cycle of lose 2 weeks and put it all back on in the third so the light at the end of the tunnel is still lit and is not an oncoming train
anyway working from home this morning to research myspace and bebo site - i don't get access at work and they don't want to give me them yet
Have a wacky wednesday - red seams red pencil skirt red boat neck jumper and black belt - might go the whole hog and have the red lippy too

Lord knows i've been sruggling, its not be very good pep wise since about Thursday last week, i'm having an off week, but i know i can turn this around and remain the optomist i know i can be!!
I'm very proud of my buddy, she is going so well and i am proud she is carry this on for us, i will be back at it next week abby, so look out!
I know from experience that i work really well on a fresh start Thuurday, thats not to say that today i will go loopy, but tomorrow is when i all begins again!
Does that sound like a cop out? I hope not!!
Oh, and i'm going to buy myself a new book today for my journal come food diary, it helps, fresh start and all that!

JUst popping on to report a wee gain for this morning, very wee considering i've not been very good fr the past week.

The wee challenge as well starts for me today - had a bit of an off day with too much

As for C - she's done me proud in the past and I suppose its pay back time. THe meeting went well and considering the changes that will be happening it doen't seem all doom and gloom.
Back next week eh?!?! (cripes) when this girl means business I have a struggle on my hands to keep up. - So despite being tired I have packed my gym gear and intend going straight from work. - something is better than nothing.
2lb off is a big thing for me - she who loses a lb a week max so lets try my best.
My menus run out on Friday ( ran out of sheets) so need to plan the weekend before it gets here or else that 2lb will never be mine.
Plan for today - apart from staying awake
b - Porridge - 5
l - Soup 3, Oatcakes 5 yog 4 Fruit salad zilch
D - coottage pie 14
Also adding and extra 5 for milk - i'm on coffee to keep me awake so more milk than usual
gives me 36 so enough to have a wee treat after work or before th gym (like the banana i have lurking in bag!)
Going to try and eat my all my checks after last week loss to see if that helps.

so i wnet to the gym last night - just to find out that they had thrown my programme card out so I have to get a new programme sorted. Booked in for 6 next thursday with Colin and he's going to more cardio work with me and get me on the vibrating plate!!!
Food wise yesterday bad day - too many bic's too tired and cranky - no excuse i know but didn't count and couldn't care so today i start again and be sensible and get head in gear

I'm up and have a very stinky throat today. I'm sitting watching Falcon Crest, already watched Dynasty, its my wee guilty pleasures.

Pah!! I'm having to cover the showroom today, there is never anyone in on a Sunday, but its money and its only til 3.30pm - 4pm, not so bad i guess!
I've taken some work in from home to do, should keep me occupied enough i hope!
Went to another slimming club yesterday, gonna stick with the pep, but i'm hoping to discipline of being weighed every week by someone else will be the motivation i need!

Not a good few days I've lapsed on writing things down which is bad enough. but i've been sticking to my menus and stuff but adding a few thing in t hat shoudln't be there - 2 SoCo and Cranberry. A tesco tray of sushi at midnight - Chicken cha han last night ( dinner was only scrambled eggs and toast though)
Nothing that i think is too drastic and nothing that is not going to makle me focus
I have the dance music on and I've jiggin about while doing the housework.
I also have a great bud who has text me great words of advice
so although no prepped menu (rang out on Friday) I'm planning tomorrow ( got the day off)
B - flump 1, CN cornflakes 8
L- who knows see when i stop the housework ( stops me eating)
D - Spag Bol bol is 5 andthe pasta will be 10 ( 2.5 oz)
the two hours of badminton
then bath and tea and rice krispie square 5

L - Baked potato, tuna and salad 12, yog free, grapes free
D - Soup and brown roll 8, fruit and creme fraiche free
S - Beans on toast 8, hot chocolate 2
Makes 38 for the day, i'm trying to make better use of my checks, it seems to be working aswell.
That counted, non low fat piece of sticky toffee pudding i had last night with the free creme fraiche was absolutly delicious, well worth it too!
Right recipe for the pork we had last night
Serves 2
2/3 Pork chops/steaks
1 red onion finely sliced
75ml red wine
175ml hot chicken stock
1/2 tsp brown sugar or 1tsp red currant jelly
1 tbsp plain flour
3 tsp olive oil
Ok, so heat 1tsp of oil in a frying pan, add the seasoned chops and onions to the pan, cook for 4-5 mins each side and then remove from pan and keep warm
Add the other 2 tsp of oil to the pan and sprinkle over the plain flour, heat for 1 - 2 mins then add the wine, stock and sugar/jelly and stir until the sauce thickens, add the pork and the onions to the pan, cover and heat until warmed through.
We had it will mash, brocolli and steamed carrots, all very delish!!
I counted 16 checks for the pork, sauce and the mash.
And i hate using low cal oil spray, just tastes like plastic to me, and olive oil is good for you!!

Either we didn't work as hard as usual last night, or i'm getting used to the hard work outs, coz i have no aching muslces today, its grand!!
And i'm feeling really healthy, for the first time in ages, think it could be the combination of healthy food and good exercise! All raring to go for the pre test this Sunday, i feel like i can actually do this! Apparently there are only 7 of us going for the grading, could be less come Sunday, they are rough on us!!
So, a brand new day and there is MORE snow on the ground. Wow, i am sick of it!

I'm glad to say i was bang on checks last night but still feeling v v v v worried about the wi tmw. I can't help it I have the feeling according to the gym scales I've put on 3lbs - i know i've not been fabulous and tsruggling but come on think i need to
If i've lost anything i think it will be a god send but hey thats what i get for losing my way and being dragged along by the wagon as opposed to jumping in on it. 0.5lb is my own wee target as thats half a stone off but unlikely me thinks.

wednesays are screwy too at this end. Now steps would be hard for me as I'm predominately sedntary job and I have a raft of meeting next week. Sounds like a cop out doesn't it - I'm just being realistic.
Exercise - commit to my new routine three times a week! theres a challenge when i don't even know what i'll be doing
or how about trying a new receipe - will get us both planning and open up our choices a bit more- so we ain't eating the same things?

Yes, pep perfect weekend, that is a challenge in its self.
I had a really, really bad day at work yesterday, talk about depressing, but, that is me out of that place until Monday, something good has to happen soon
Ok, i've been keeping going with my new Davina fit DVD, and i love it!! I did the last bit this morning, i can really feel my muscles at work, all looking good for the grading next month.
So, my plan for today
B - cornflake and milk, oj 6
S - pear 2
L - Chickpea and spinach curry 12, yog free, fruit free
D - Soup and sandwich 12, fruit 2
S - Hot choc 2, jaffas 3
Makes a grand total of 39 for the day and i have training tonight.
I just feel blah, its everything and nothing!!
Well done on getting your flights, thats not a bad price at all!

I've just had a jam do-nut i was scrummy so that an extra 8 checks to add to my total - all good -as i fear that dinner will be a bowl of cereals!!

I fully expected to wake up this morning with very sore legs, not so, woohoo!!
Maybe not quite as optimistic about Sunday as i was at the beginning of the week, if i can empty my mind before i go into the pre test on Sunday morning i'll be fine, if i can't then i'll be screwed. I really, really want to do this, so badly.
I can't really talk about work on here as its a public forum, but i need to find a new job, asap.
Plan for today, we bit scetchy so far, but i'll wing it

Well its Monday and I've been at the mercy of the hormones so it been a bad week
However I have had my new gym programme and done that saturday am and going back this afternoon!
I'm doing day one today to try and salvage something but I'm not going to worry too much this week

oh well - two pounds on thought it was one but sorted it all out. Better than my dream where i put on 5lb!!

planning on doing a shop once i've left work and then hedaing to the gym so I might have a ready meal - nasty I know but quite easy.
though looking at the total so far (15) and I can have 49 - I might have a packet of fresh pasta which are normal about 450 (18)
still give me a total of 33 so maybe that is the way to go.
Sending cyber hugs to my bud who is still forging on and i'm sure she'll be back on here soon!

i'm here, i'm just not pepping, food seems to be the crutch i am looking for at the moment,
i've just this minute finished my lunch, home made macaroni (very tasty) along with a bag of golden wonder spring onion crisps and a tube of smarties, omg, how tasty are smarties!
i'd really like to get back to normal pepping sometime soon!!

I'm neglecting the post and my blog at the moment and I'm sorry but the stress is getting the better of me and every day so far is a battle
I managed a good day yesterday and I did manage a lb off so happy at that and trying to make it more for next week
I've still not planned anything and that is my downfall. I've got class tonight than I'm going home for some down time as I'm needing it at the mo just to keep me sane. so I promise the gym will be tomorrow instead

yoghurt and fruit free
soup and 2 rolls 12
2 jaffas and hot chocolate 6
It gives me a grand total of 32 for the day, Wednesdays are difficult because i finish at 2pm and its really hard to know what to eat, thats why i had the extra slice of toast!
can't promise i'll be this bright and cheerful all the time, but i can try!!

i was under too but by too many approx 15 as i got caught on facebook and didn't have my pancakes so i may use some of those checks tonight for them
feeling not too bad ( tho i did stand on the scales this morning to give me and extra boost)

All i can think about is bloody food!!
Yesterday went the wrong way and today i want to be so much better, but can't get that positive frame of mind back in place.
That the ferry all paid, so i'm definately going on holiday this year, i'm really, really happy about that, despite everything atleast i have that too look forward to.
Training didn't go too well last night, was ill and left after an hour!

well thats another lb in the right direction - BIG surprise seeing the weekend that i had. so i have set my own wee challenge - 2lb off foie next wednesday and before i head down to the girls. I've done it before and I'm sure i can do it again i need to focus.
GOt the photoshoot on Sunday and tryiing to find out if I can get a spray tan in before then.

Its been snowing all night, thick and heavy, so i don't suspect i'll be going anywhere today, supposed to have training tonight but i really think the best idea is to stay put!! I suspect there is a good 9ins of the white stuff, lovely!
I've got plenty to do so i'll not get bored, i'm going to do some baking today and tomorrow, i'm going to make bread tomorrow, was supposed to be a joint venture, but it has turned into Claire making it!!
I'm going to start swotting for my interview today and i need to try and get my final draft of my eassy done aswell, heard about another job that i can apply for, so i'm going to work on a speculative letter and my CV for that today..
I'm feeling a little more positive this morning, last 2 days haven't been good, the bosses comments in the local paper (p***k) said more to the people living in this town than he has said to us in 2 years, then yesterday i got my letter confirming my redundancy, not so much as a thank you for all the hard work for the past 7 years, its like its all our fault....
