Well tomorrow's the start of a new week and hopefully we can look foward to seeing the sun more and to lighter afternoons.
The mission for this week is to have an afternoon walk if you can.
Good luck with weigh ins this week! Let's make it a good one.

Well, after not doing well over the last two weeks I've put on 3lbs. I know where every single pound has come from and openly admit I deserve that.
However, I have had a good talk with family over the last week and really thought about why I've not kept the weight off and have realised I never overcame my emotional eating. When all the stuff happened with my sister what did I do? Turned to food. So that is my mission, to overcome my emotional eating once and for all so that I can get back to the weight I want to be at and stay there.
So, my focus is turning to exercise. I'm starting a body pump class tomorrow night with my sister and we're going to either go for a bike ride or a big walk once a week. Plus we've changed furniture round in the living room so I can use the Wii for exercising more easily.
This time I am determined to conquer my demons
Good luck to everyone else and congrats everyone for the losses

Lost 1lb this week. This is over a stone so I am happy Had a bad few days but am back on track now.
I was the same as nik chick as soon as my mum was in hospital I started to eat, but I am trying to be inspired by her weight loss and the fact that it is so much easier for operations etc now because she has lost so much weight.
Last time she had an op she was told she would probably not survive the anesthestic (sp) . This time is wasn't even an issue.

diana, that cake sounds lovely! Well done on your sts.
Nikki, exercise is great for releasing endorphins. I find it much harder when I can't exercise. Have you got Wii Fit plus? The new games are great fun. Good luck for this week.
Yvonne, that's fabulous! Congratulations!
Jemima, what a shame. I'm sure you'll more than make up for it with next week's loss.
carly, hope thing go better for you this week.
I have lost 1.5 lbs which I am very pleased about as I had another migraine on Monday. I staved it off for a while with chocolate (what a waste of 9 of my saved checks) and some full sugar apple tango (lemonade works better but it was all they had in the machine). I even managed a little dinner when I got home. I'm now prepared - I'm going to carry Sprite and some treatsize galaxy which will hopefully do the trick if it happens again.

Hello everyone a wee loss of half a pound for me this week. X

That's excellent, Flufters.
I am wavering a little today. Now I have just 1 saved check from yesterday and I really wish I'd not had the bag of mini chocolate digestives after my post-work snack. On the plus side, I ate one piece of chocolate at break time which is a major step forward - normally I'd either have all of it or not be able to pack it in my lunch bag. After tea I made some decaff coffee to keep me occupied - I know I'm not hungry.
What is everyone planning for the weekend. I have refused overtime again and I want to go to the gym or play on the Wii Fit depending on how I'm feeling (the snow combined with people spraying clouds of perfume is not helping my asthma).

Hi Bookhunter that is an excellent thing to about the coffee I think I will try that lots. I am trying not to eat chocolate and sweet things as I cannot stop at just one!! I am just on horrible cleaning duties this weekend (I'll just keep thinking about the calories I'll burn!)
Hope you have a lovely weekend

Bad weigh in this morning. Following a night out last night (bad day to go out, my fault entirely ) I have gained 2lbs. Definately not what I was expecting but it was a late night so hopefully this will show next week.

I agree, Woody. It's probably not a true gain so don't worry about it.
Flufters, I love hot drinks especially now I have have them without biscuits or with just one chocolate after dinner. I use the pink sweetener (I think it's Silver Spoon) and it's lovely.
Today we had a power cut at work so I finished early. I worked up to WH Smith's to get Runner's World and then went to Costa. I tried the Flat White which was lovely. I just checked the nutritional info and I am convinced it is wrong - how can it be 9 checks when it is double expresso and the latte has more milk and is 3? I am going with 2 or 1 portion of EDB.

Well, after a bad couple of weeks with family stuff getting to me, I tried to get back on track last week and it's worked...
I've lost 1lb, yay!!!
The worst of the family stuff will be over by teatime on Saturday so life will slowly get back to normal after that and I'm hoping I'll find everything a lot easier
Thanks for everyone's support while I've been finding it tough

Sorry I've not been on. Things have been particularly bad at work - very busy and loads of staff off. Today I went in in a better mood and I was more prepared to face it. I am over today but I've written everything down in a new notebook. I put on a pound this week which wasn't too bad.
elle, good luck!
Nikki, that's fantastic.
Jemima, well done.
I will start a new post.
