I got a letter last week from Race for Life which said "what was your most amazing Race for Life moment in Bradford in 2006?" That moment was when I had finished and was wearing my medal. Now my medal hangs next to the computer and I still feel good when I look at the photo.
Sometimes when the finish line (or target) seems far away, it helps to remember the amazing moments along the way. What are yours?
Good luck for this week.

I have ran the "Race for Life" for the past 4 years. My special moment is in the brief couple of minutes before every race when everyone stands and remembers why they are there. Very touching moments full of sadness and inspiration.
I have lost 2lbs this week and am very happy with that.

Excellent, woody.
Well done, Carly.
I am back in control now. I have been thinking about last time I was stressed at work and how eating well helped. I could go a little over and still lose but I needed to eat things that were good for me to give me energy. I've focused on that during the day which has meant I feel better by the end of the day and can relax and even claw back a few checks.
I've been looking at the hotel where my cousin's wedding is being held. It's amazing! As well as the golf course (my cousins, uncle and brother love golf), there is a leisure centre with a fantastic pool and a running track which will be great for my Race for Life preparation.

You're not wrong Bookhunter (she says with tail between legs!) So sorry I've been out of the loop these last few weeks - time just seems to run away - so much to do, so little time (although I still have plenty time to eat ?????) Anyway, just dropped by to say - I've fallen off the wagon but still going to class - let's see what tonight brings!

diana, our thoughts are with you.
My advice would be to pick a day when you're ready to start again and get weighed at the end of that week.
elle, well done!
Judenbob, it's good to see you back.
