I didn't follow my diet as well as I should have this week. It's not that I ate too much, in fact it is the opposite. On a number of days this week I have fallen spectacularly below the level of checks (a check is equivalent to 25 calories) that I should be having.
It is one of the key principles of the diet. Linda (my mother-in-law) told me this message was consistently drummed into them. The logic is that a consistent calorie intake helps your metabolism.
So I know what I need to do. I need to plan out my eating day better.
That said I have managed to lose a further 2 pounds this week, taking my weight loss to 13 pounds in 3 weeks.
So whatever happens I want to have one week where I eat exactly 60 checks (1,500 calories) a day.
It will be interesting to see how it goes.
