My wee "talk" today will be the importance of eating our fruit and veg. As well as being full of nutrients and being good for us, they can fill us up and make our portions bigger without putting on any weight in the process, if we include it in our EDB or count checks for any extra fruit we have.
What have you got in at the moment? I've got apples, mandarins, bananas, carrots and peppers. If you are going shopping soon, why not try putting something a little different into your basket/trolley and tell us if its nice or not? Not so long ago I tried a fresh pineapple in a Szechaun chicken recipe given by Rosie and it was delicious!
Well, now to the important bit. Who's the STAR of the week.
Well actually several people today deserve a special mention today and they are:
nic 27874 lost an incredible 6lbs! and Wabeywoo lost 5lbs - amazing! And Woody and dying angel both lost 3lbs each - well done girls, keep it up!
Altogether we all lost a fantastic 25 and a half pounds!
There was 2 STS and one wee gain of half a pound.
