Good morning everyone and I hope you have all had a good weekend and been behaving yourselves (well PEP wise anyway!).  rolleyes.gif  If you haven't then its never too late to start.

My wee "talk" today will be the importance of eating our fruit and veg. As well as being full of nutrients and being good for us, they can fill us up and make our portions bigger without putting on any weight in the process, if we include it in our EDB or count checks for any extra fruit we have.


What have you got in at the moment? I've got apples, mandarins, bananas, carrots and peppers. If you are going shopping soon, why not try putting something a little different into your basket/trolley and tell us if its nice or not? Not so long ago I tried a fresh pineapple in a Szechaun chicken recipe given by Rosie and it was delicious!  lipsmacking.gif

Well actually several people today deserve a special mention today and they are:


nic 27874 lost an incredible 6lbs! and Wabeywoo lost 5lbs - amazing! And Woody and dying angel both lost 3lbs each - well done girls, keep it up!  biggrin.gif

Altogether we all lost a fantastic 25 and a half pounds!  2thumbs.gif

There was 2 STS and one wee gain of half a pound.

I don't weigh until wednesday but just having a nosy. I only lost 1lb last week so can't take the credit for that I'm afraid! The other person who lost 6lb in one week is amazing! I did comment that we'd both had 3 babies and maybe my post wasn't clear. I definately don't deserve that kind of praise!

Hi Shirls, I wouldn't mind it either, the way my weight loss (or not) has been going lately! Hee,hee.  laugh.gif

4lb loss this week,i am sure my scales must be broken as i seem to loose every week

was 21st 1lb now 17st 6lb since Jan 12th

I'm happy to report 1lb lost this week. Finaly my weight is getting down but slow and steady.
That is what i wanted, managed to get down to under 90kg already, next target: 85;)

Ps. Great post about fruit and veg! I can have only veg now, but soon will add fruits:)

1.5 off this week.

I need to save checks for having a night out this coming weekend, meal and alcohol rolleyes.gif How many checks should I save each day? I saved 8 yesterday, just because I was busy through the day, so didn't have much at lunch time, or time for through the day snacks.

I stocked up on fruit and veg last night Catrina - pineapple, nectarines, pears, satsumas, apples and veg for salad plus my every day veg.

I think I'm a stay the same this week. My scales read something different every time even without moving them, and if nudged a bit it's different again. Hmm. So last week I was 12 st 9, this morning I was either 12st 8, 8 1/4. 8 1/2, 8 3/4 or 9lb. So I'm going for 12st 9 and hoping for better news next week!

Good luck on going back to class Shirls and I'm sure you'll get on ok. Remember everyone in the room is "in the same boat as you". We're all trying to lose weight, no matter how small or large.

No bother singing mum. Thanks for letting me know. My scales can "play up" from time to time also and I think the STS is probably the safest bet.

By my scales i've lost 0.5lb this week.

Weigh in his morning, and another STS y_whistle.gif At least I'm not gaining, but staying the same at 20st 4lbs is not good, it should be losses I am getting, but then again, not PEPing properly is resulting in no losses rolleyes.gif Simples!!!!!

Never mind Audrey, at least you know where you are going "wrong". Now the weather is getting better perhaps you could go for more walks and that would get the old metabolism "ticking" over. x  hug.gif

smile.gif  As I forgot to weigh in on Thursday, I weighed in this morning and I've lost 2lbs! Well chuffed with this. Just got a couple of pounds to lose now till I get to my target weight. I think I might start weighing myself every Saturday now. x

P.S. Well done to everyone who have put in their weight losses/sts/gains so far, you're all doing so well. Keep the motivation up, we can all do it! x  1983.gif .
