Hi all, I have random items of stuff in my freezer and cupords and wanted any low check ideas of what i can do with them.

Baked beans (dont normally like but need using)
kidney beans (ditto)
chips
breaded chicken
thin pork steaks
spinach
sweetcorn
tinned tomatoes
fish in sauce
prawns (very small amount)

I'm sure there are other bits and pieces but these are what i remember. anyway i always buy nice things for meals and stuff then get distracted and dont use them so i build up a store of things in my cupboards and find that they only make up parts of meals, or they were only a good idea when i bought them but havent fancied them since. And if i want to use them i tend to use one thing and buy a whole load of other things to go with it....not so good for my purse! anyway this are the main things i have and i have flavourings and curry pastes and herbs and spices and the normal stuff too.

So i was wondering if anyone has any fabulous suggestions for low check tasty quick and easy foods to make that go past the normal pasta, (all i seem to be eating resently) or curry, dont mind recipies for these anyway just would like something different

....I think i might have a sweet potatoe too.

also moving house at the end of the month so would prefere to get through as much stuff as poss rather than buying new stuff.

Thanks in advance

Breaded chicken is nice served with stewed veg - just put the veg in some stock and cook for an hour or more and then you can use the stock as gravy over the chicken.

Fish in sauce is nice as fish pie - just cook and put in the oven with some mash (instant is fine) and some low fat cheese. You can also add a tin of carrots to the fish so you don't need to cook the veg separately.

Pork is nice grilled with apple juice gravy (use the apple juice instead of water when you are thinning the gravy).
