Hello again folks. How are you all today on this bright morning here in the Moray Firth? 

How are you all getting on? Did you all enjoy eating more fruit and veg last week? I'm needing to stock up again soon, as nearly all mine has been eaten.


What I want to talk about today is just a reminder really that SS is not a diet as we all know, but a lifetime change. And if we don't see the results quickly, we shouldn't become despondent but stick with it and it'll come right in the end. See the "bigger picture" as I think someone has already said before on this site. 

Try and do a bit more exercise now the weather is improving, keep a positive attitude, eat plenty of fruit and veg, drink plenty water (good for skin, as well as body) and try and keep within your checks and we'll all see the benefits. 


Remember if you're feeling down, it won't last forever. Maybe buy yourself a new pair of trainers and do some walking or go to the gymn. Whatever - enjoy!


Now onto the important bit who's the STAR this week???

Well the trophy, has to go to PETE who lost a commendable 4lbs last week and an incredible 3 and a half stone since the middle of January!

Altogether we lost a total of 13 and a half pounds, had one wee gain of half a pound and a few STS. So pretty damn good I'd say.  2thumbs.gif

Right ladies and gents. You know the score. It's now over to you. So come on lets do even better than last week. Lets show everyone what we're made of...

Where is everyone this week? Well been a tough week and it has shown +1lb for me, no one to blame but myself, it is deserved really piggy.gif . Now in a more possitive frame of mind tho and been good last two days. Embarrassed for letting the online class down, by showing a gain, so will try harder from now on rolleyes.gif

don't be embarrassed, I'm feeling ashamed as I've put on 1 +1/2 lbs this week/. Sorry everyone! by the way, Pete that's amazing.

Hi folks, don't mean to hijack the ongoing thread but can't find my way back to the beginning of the 'online class'....can anyone join in - or are you guys working on something special together (and no worries if you are, I'm just curious).

2lb loss this week, quite disappointed as i had a sts last week so thought i may have managed a bit more, never mind though there is always next week!!!! Good luck to everyone and I hope you are all enjoying the sunshine.

So not up to going to class again weighed myself and i've stayed the same.
My heart just hasn't been init but i've give myself a good talking to and i'm back on track and so far so good i'm having a good and well planned week.

1lb loss for me this week,not bad considering i ain't done much exercise due to shifts

Kicked it off yesterday tho with the gym then 7 hours polishing a friends car

Finding the reduced check count (65) harder to stick to if i have a decent lunch and tea

dread to think what the next step down would be like

My 3 year old niece is eating more than me lol

Reporting a sts this week which I am okay with, I have had a good 4/5 weeks of 2lb of every week, so I can't expect that all the time. Have also only exercised twice this week - my plan for the week just didn't happen, but I will make it up next week!!

smile.gif  Thoroughly enjoying this weather Nikki and thats a great loss! I had a barbecue yesterday and enjoyed a sausage and bacon roll with a few small glasses of wine. x

Good on you Rosie for the positive attitude!  smile.gif . Yip, you have been doing rather brilliantly haven't you? A week where you haven't lost anything is nothing to worry about on the whole scope of things.

Hi Pete, 1lbs still a loss! Well done you! I know what you mean about it being harder to adjust to less checks when you begin to lose more weight, but you'll get used to it, it just takes time.


Try and think of plenty of fruit and veg and maybe even having a nice salad, this is the time of year for them. I'm going to be having a nice one tonight for my tea.

Maybe you're building up muscle Audrey. Muscle weighs more than fat. Keep up with the exercise if you can, it will help tone your body in the long run and are you keeping to your checks? This is a great time of year to enjoy salads and try out new and different fruits. Take care and good luck for next week. x  hug.gif

But your body will be toning well,keep it up and the pounds will soon drop
