Today I am going to talk about taking care of ourselves and how important this is. We need to look after ourselves well. Like a car we function better when we are well maintained and fuel ourselves properly.
Of course we should have the occasional treat, as we know nothing is forbidden with the SS plan, but remember to have as much fruit and veg as possible. We can have 2 pieces of fruit (or 1 if having something like a banana) within our checks and count any more than this onto our checks. We can eat most veg freely. Just check your PEP complete book for what veggies we have to count.
The recommended amount of fruit and veg we eat is as you probably know is 5 a day, but realistically we may not always achieve this, but this is what we should aim for.
Are we all getting enough exercise? Today I cycled back from Buckie (my local town) and felt invigorated by doing it. Exercise can be FREE and FUN to do, so come on get all these limbs working again.
If you are going away on your holidays - ENJOY!!! But remember not to totally go over your checks or you'll regret it when you come back and go on the scales. Conversely, you should be happy with a STS when you return if you try and fit in as much exercise as you can while you are away, even if it is just walking and seeing the sights.

Tracy you are!!! - You lost a couple of pounds and are now within reach of your target weight again. Well done you!
Well done to everyone else too, we all managed to lose half a stone between us, had NO gains and 4 STS.
