Welcome to the all new Team Challenge thread. Everyone is welcome to join. The rules are below.

The Rules


· New team members should take a starting weight the week they join so they can report the difference the following week. If they choose they can post this weight.

· Each week starts on a Monday. Results must be posted by Sunday at 7pm.

· If a team member doesn't report in, the team will have a penalty which means the loss of 50 points. However, team members can take a holiday or break at any time as long as they let their team captain know in advance.

· No penalties will be awarded if a team member does not report their first result.

· Points will be awarded as follows:

Weight loss / gain

STS 10

0.5 lb / 0.2 kilos loss 20

1 lb / 0.5 kilo loss 30

1.5 lb / 0.7 kilo loss 40

2 lb + / 0.9 kilo loss 50

Gain - 30

5 points will be awarded for each exercise session lasting 30 min or longer. A maximum of 25 points can be awarded for Exercise per week. Exercise can be any type from gentle walking or gardening to Body Pump or spinning.

Challenges

Completing one or more of the weekly challenges can earn up to 25 points.

Mini goals and special awards

Losing a total of 7 pounds during the challenge including losses and gains will earn 50 bonus points.

Other awards will be made for special achievements.

Reporting your results

You can report your results on this thread or on your team thread. If you complete a weekly challenge you can post on that thread.

Update - getting started results

Team 1 have scored 115 points but Team 2 have taken the lead with 160 points.

Well done everyone.

Edit - amended result one the formulas missed a column.

Bookhunter, are the results and threads etc ok the way ive layed them out? Ive got a thread for exercise and a general chat thread and then Im guessing the results need to be posted on the main team thread!?

Im getting confused!! haha but theres heaps of stuff going on on the forums which is brilliant!!

The results can be posted anywhere and I will find them. It's up to you how you organise your threads. We're just having one to make it easier.

I was hoping the thread challenge would make the forum busy again and it's been great today.

I get weighed on a Monday - lost 1 lb today - but will I post that result on Sunday night?

Good news team-mates. My weigh-in this morning showed a loss of 0.9 kg. The measuring tape showed great results too. Good luck to everyone in both teams with their weigh-ins this week too. 2thumbs.gif

You know I've just been thinking, theres a few people struggling just now and I think one of the problems when following the plan is eating the same things all the time.
Maybe we should post one thread for both teams to write down what they have eaten each day or to plan each days menu! Giving people a chance to look at various menus and maybe pinch ideas. Also allows others to check up on what you have eaten!! So no cheating

Just a suggestion, see what you all think!!

Another successful week on the scales and with the tape measure. I have lost 1.4kg in weight amd 1in off my bust and 2 ins off my waist. I celebrated by buying a smaller size skirt. Pencil cut and size 16 and it fits perfectly.
Come on everyone, if I can do we can all do it. This is a fun way of being part of a team and being able to contact each other when it suits us and our lifestyles.

Team 1 have scored a fabulous 735 points. Team 2 are close behind with 620.

This week Katie Roseanne was the first person to earn 50 bonus points for losing 7 pounds during the challenge.

sts for me this week - totm as usual!! So fustrating

You must be close to target now tho and it gets harder, you've been working hard, stick with it - and i'll listen to my own advice also hahaha
