Sorry for gatecrashing your thread but I've tried callanetics and found it fantastic, it's all about little controlled movements and breathing etc and it does really work for toning your body

I had the rosemary connely one which used to be my
mums which was prob from the 80s so I'm sure if that works then anything will!

Hehe hope you give it a go xx

I love Callanetics! Lent my books and never got back though. Still do stomach exercises and hamstring / leg stretches after treadmill. The stomach ones are great - have to do more though.

First Zumba 1hr class complete next one tomorrow night, 2thumbs.gif Feel I am doing well again this week am managing to get closer to my checks and have added one extra excercise class. Also trying new recipies which so far have been YUMMY !!! lipsmacking.gif

Thanks Sue and Bookhunter! 2thumbs.gif Sounds like callanetics might be a good way to tone up. I'll have another read through my book and make a start on Saturday.

Only managed a walk yesterday as I ended up doing the last of the wedding invites last night. So glad they are all done and they will be in the post box at lunchtime - one thing less to worry about!

Reading through the thread and wow, everyone seems to be doing really well! 2thumbs.gif

Hey how is team two doing?

I went to Gym after jogging on Thursday night and I went to bodypump yesterday. Today I went to Edinburgh Zoo and climbed lots of hills pushing a wheelchair!!

Hey guys all good here too, fri night I did my 2nd Zumba class of the week so hope it helps towards our points for the week. aswell as that have also been walking over ,y 10,000 steps a day mellow.gif

Taking it to the wire this week but I'm recording a STS this week - starting with renewed vigour. But I did however, complete 2 sessions at the gym!!

I went to bodypump yesterday, looking forward to weigh in tomorrow as I have been very good at pepping this week and done a lot of exercise!!!

How is everyone doing? I'm still a bit miffed at my sts but I'll just have to keep plodding on... Have my meals planned, exercise planned and hopefully it will mean a wee loss on Saturday!

I already said it on the challenge thread but Katie well done for going swimming! I don't think I could manage it at the moment!! 2thumbs.gif 2thumbs.gif

Right off to wash my soup bowl from lunch before I grow something grotty y_whistle.gif

Crazy, it's up to you. Whichever you do it helps if I have the day - I've got a column for each day so I don't lose track. Anything not added in when I do the results, I add onto Monday.

I managed 20 minutes resistance band exercises with my left arm, climbing up and down stairs with washing and walking around the garden. Not enough for points but it's a step forward (and it made me realise I should be off work - was starting to feel guilty).

I have done this weeks challenge well i think i have and it was a challenge

The thing is i really dont like fruit, love veg but not fruit but felt as a healthy snack i would try, so it just happens that my mum was having a fruit salad and i asked her could she give me one piece of each fuit and i had it with EDB yoghurt it wa ok still felt some of it was mush but gave it a go

Also today and yesterday both going to work and coming home i got off the bus one stop before the one i should have the one goingt o work isnt that much difference but the one coming home is agood 15 minuites walk each way

Thank you ladies for giving me a great boast of confidence re swimming, it was difficult getting into a swimsuit again and trying swimming again, the pool was busy on saturday i thought i cant do this but i did and went back again on the Sunday

Bookhunter I think you should get pints for even trying to exrecise with your poor arm.

I went jogging this evening for 45 mins and I lost 2lb at weigh in todaypee!! Yi

Well done Crazy!

I lost 0.6 kg. No idea how although I've been doing quite well until after tea. It takes me to a new lowest weight which is great and hopefully will motivate me for next week. Also helps that I'm reducing the painkillers (I hate the side effects) and I'm able to read again which will keep me occupied.

I didn't manage any other exercise other than my lunchtime walk yesterday as I was in too late. Going to walk into town from the office today to make up for it and then go on the wii fit while my OH is making dinner.

How is everyone else doing today? Any WIs?

Am off on holiday next week so plan to do as much excercise as possible because my hubby and I go to london on the fri for our first wedding anniversary which is on the sun 29th, really looking forward to it but not the following mon weigh in confused.gif

I am doing much better today. I now need to eat something so I don't save more than 5 checks! I do need to save them though as I going to sleep at my brother's on Sunday night so I'm there in the morning. He's going to work briefly and then is taking my niece and her friend out for the day. Mum is joining me later to look after the other 2 so I won't need to do anything but it means different foods (e.g. sandwiches).

Just back from my walk and it is roasting out there 2thumbs.gif Actually a bit too warm - never happy are we? rolleyes.gif

Well pep perfect day 3 for me (Monday was a bit of an off day as we had steak pie for dinner and I might have had a bit much pastry y_whistle.gif ) and have done exercise everyday except Monday (fell yuck after the pie - when will I learn?! I am hoping for a loss this week - a wee tiny 0.5lb would do, just something to show for 3 weeks near pep perfectness y_innocent.gif

How is everyone else doing?

Bookhunter, Avy is right, why don't you try a salad, some of the pre-bagged ones are great and just add some chicken or something for when you are at your brothers?

Elle walking is just as good for you, to be honest I do what I like to call a gentle jog. I will get quicker at some point!!! ha ha

Sorry not been around over the weekend, went shopping yesterday and got two new pairs of shoe boots in the sale. Couldn't decided what colour so got both!!!! 2thumbs.gif and bowling last night, I wasn't very good but got a lot better as the night wore on. Possibly due to a few Bacardis!!!!

Elle I think I'll be the same as I got my totm today, I get weighed on Tuesday!!!

I went jogging yesterday before my shopping trip and went to bodypump this morning!!

I've been to the gym and scot slim class today lost 2lb which I am well chuffed at as it's totm!!!

Avy, that's fantastic!

I have gained (will post exact figure tomorrow - card is downstairs. I am not concerned as it can be explained by the weekend and the effects of the extra painkillers over the last few days. It should even out soon.

Work was bad but I was too busy to think about my arm which I think helped. Only 3 days until the bank holiday and 2 1/2 weeks until my week off.

I've ordered myself Style Boutique for DS. I rented it and it's fantastic for losing track of time and forgetting about snacking.
