WIll keep you posted, I'm going to try the jeans on once a week. I can get them on but would never walk out the door with them scard they may split up my bum!!!!!! That wouldn't be a bonny site!!! y_woot.gif

I have much the same problem - except I'm worried that the button may pop off, go flying and give someone a concussion! y_woot.gif y_woot.gif

Tried my cropped trousers on yesterday. They are about the same. Wish I could do some stomach exercises.

Ha ha ha, i too can get mine on and fasten them, which is good as I couldnt do them up in May - HOWEVER! the muffin top is not a good look for me y_woot.gif

My size 12 BHS cropped trousers are really loose so I need to fit into the new ones soon.

I need a further 2.5lbs off now - but just realised that my weigh-in, in 2wks time is actually the 1st of sept......that's the weigh-in i meant to lose it by...........is that ok???? (might not even make it, but trying hard to!!!) x

Shirls, the fourth week is the week beginning 6th September so that's fine.

Although anyone who reaches their minigoal after that will still get 5 bonus points.

My size 14 jeans are still a little tight!!


I did buy a pair of size 14 jeggings today for going to benidorm, but to be fair they do stretch!!!

Have learned never to set mini goals, it's too destructive for me in the long run, so will opt out of this one, sorry girls

Have had a think today and seeing as how I almost got into my size 20 red jeans, that is my mini goal, it may work when not a weight related one.

Woot woot woot!!!!! i've done it!!!1 got the 16's on and left the house in them YEY!

Im so freakin happy *dances a little* and not a muffin top in sight! In fact my stomach looks reasonably flat, the waistband is ever so slightly loose and they arnt clinging to my thighs! result.

Cant remeber if ive posted this elsewheer - 1lb off for me this week - takes me to losing 7.5 lbs whilst on this challenge - more points for team 2 wahey!

WELL DONE ON EVERYONE WHO HAS REACH THEIR MINI GOAL

I REACH MINE TODAY- 17 STONE OR UNDER BY MY BIRTHDAY WHICH IS THE 7TH OF SEPTEMBER LOSS 3LBS TO MAKE ME 16ST 12LBS HAVEN'T BEEN THIS WEIGHT PROPERLY FOR 11 YEARS

I WAS 14 AND HALF STONE 8 YEARS AGO BUT THAT'S BECAUSE I WAS ILL AND SO SICK I COULDN'T EAT FOR 6 MONTHS SO I DON'T COUNT THAT'S A SOON AS MY GALL BLADDER WAS OUT AND I COULD EAT I PUT IT ALL BACK ON AND SO MUCH MORE IN LESS THAN 6 MONTHS

NEED TO THINK NOW OF MY NEXT MINI GOAL MAYBE 14 AND HALF STONE BUT DOING IT THE RIGHT WAY, REALLY NEED TO THINK ABOUT THIS ONE

Hello Ladies, I am just joining you now – Team 1. Bit of background: I’m 36, live in Spain (left Scotland 2 years ago) married with two toddlers aged 15m & 2 ½ yrs they keep me busy but not slim! I am a SAHM at the mo. I need to get some control back and lose the stone and a half I have accumulated over the last few years. I first joined Scottish Slimmers in 1997 and have been at Target twice but like a lot of us I yo-yo back and forth and that’s why I am back again. Looking forward to getting to know you all well!

My mini goal will be writing everything down every day until the end of the challenge – I only re-started on the PEP on Weds1st.

Found a pair of jeans in next today - size 12 - which i love!

Also bought new boots (which i couldnt get my calfs into last year!) and a couple of really nice dresses for winter and parties!

Spent a fortune but its so nice to be able to shop again and things fit!!

Not sure if this is right or not but i want to set my self another mini Goal

over 8 years ago i mange to get form 18stone to 14.9 stone in 8 months but that was due to me being very ill with my gall bladder and getting married to my soon to be cheating exhusband, anyway enough of that

I want to set a mini goal of 14.5 stone and obviously doing it the SS way, no time limt this weigt i would be less than i have been for a long time and less weight than i was when i was with Paul and it would be such an achievent, i am 16.12 just now which is lowest i ave been for a long time

I didn't make mine in time - gained the last two weeks confused.gif

SO, my new mini goal is to lose the 2.5lbs i've gained in last 2 WI's by my hol in 3wks time......

After my hol, i will want to set a new mini-goal of some sort....... butterfly.gif x

My cropped trousers still don't fit but it's the lack of exercise and the bloating from the tablets more than anything. I'll probably fit into them and then not be able to wear them because of the weather.

I tried on my jeans this morning and while I still have a 'muffin top' I can actually breath wearing them 2thumbs.gif 2thumbs.gif

I also tried on a few dress that were in my wardrobe but too small and they all zip up and fit fine apart from one which is still a little bit on the tight side 2thumbs.gif

Bookhunter - I'd say it was definitely the medication that is causing you problems. I was on antibiotics and painkiller for 6 months and I sts or lost a lb and then gained it again. Once you are feeling better I bet those lbs will start coming off easily again!
