1. To feel healthier and fitter
2. To increase chances of having kids in the future
3. To prove to myself I can do it

1. Still to fit into my size 12 next jeans - not long now!
2. Dug out an old winter coat this morning which I can now fasten!
3. Got my old size 12 work trousers back last week after them being in the basement for a year!!



3 milestones on your journey so far
1. Getting under 12 stone for the first time in a year!
2. Being able to complete all my gym classes and still want to do more
3. Compliements from various ppl and my bf being proud and calling me skinny!!

2. Being organised when it comes to food (not grabbing lunch in canteen and takeaway for dinner)

1. 40th Birthday (refuse to be fat n forty)

3. Leather jacket from Oasis (my favourite, but its a wee bit tight just now)

1. Re-joining class last Monday
2. Joining Zumba classes

1) Planning evening meals for the week, and write a shopping list.
2) Started jogging (kills me, but I'll get there)
3) Trying new recipes from the PEP book ( Recently made Thai Curry)

1) Chocolate (as long as it's counted)

3 reasons to motivate me

1) Feel fitter and healtheir
2) Wear trendy clothes
3) Hopefully get married and have kids, To be a slim bride and have energy to play with my kids.

1) Size 14 jeans comfortably (still tight)
2) White trousers
3) All the clothes I have bought as incentives in various sizes!!!


3 milestones

1) only 1lb to go for a stone lost
2) Being able to jog without stopping for 3.5miles and including hills. At the start I couldn't even jog to the end of the road without stopping!!
3) Realising that I can lose weight, it just takes time.

  1. 23 stone plus is not a fun place to be! I want to be healthy and fit
  2. My fiance and I would like to have children sometime soon
  3. The forum definitely keeps me motivated 2thumbs.gif

  1. My next jeans - I want to fit into these!
  2. My work trousers - have too pairs lurking in the wardrobe that a wore a few time before I grew back out of them
  3. I'd like to buy a really nice little-black-dress that makes me feel great and the few I've seen don't fit me yet


3 milestones on your journey so far
  1. Being able to shop in the 'normal' section in shops not just the plus size bit
  2. Being able to exercise (and get up the stairs to my top floor flat) without feeling I am going to pass out
  3. Having the confidence to ask my now fiance out on a first date 1983.gif

1. my 'fat' picture

3. To fit into a gorgeous skirt (that I hope will actually be too big for me when i have got where i want to be)

1. Getting my BMI under 30
2. Losing almost 2 stone (half of my target)
3. Compliments from friends, family & colleagues - my favourite being 'Holy S**t - thats some dedication!' biggrin.gif

  1. Orange juice for breakfast (and no more kitkats)

  1. Chopped tomatoes
  2. Yoghurt fruit flakes (can't think what I ever did without them)
  3. Tinned apples and pears



3 reasons that motivated you to start or keep you going
  1. Wanted to run. I've now completed a 5K and a 10K and want to go further.
  2. Want to help my asthma
  3. My nieces - now I can not only run around with them but our new favourite activity when I spend the day with them is Wii Fit
3 items of clothing you can fit into now or want to fit into soon

  1. Per Una size 12 skirt. Took me a year to fit into. I loved it when I saw it but they only had a 12 and it took me starting running again to get there.
  2. Per Una turquoise trousers - would be great to fit into them before winter.
  3. My size 10 running trousers - they make me feel like a real runner and fitting into them the second time around was amazing.
3 milestones on your journey so far

  1. Completing the Abbey Dash 10 K and reaching 84kg the first time
  2. Getting back down to 84kg and under it
  3. Starting half marathon training (this may be paused but I'm not going to let it stop me making progress)

  1. clothes were getting too tight and I refuse to buy bigger
  2. health
  3. feel good hormones are keeping me going (exercise is helping smile.gif )

3 reasons that motivated you to start or keep you going

1. After my husband left me for someone else it was time to llok after myself for a change, its my time now
2. How much better i feel already and looking fowred to beingmore health and nice clothes
3. Thinking of my beloved first husband and how proud of me he would be

3 items of clothing you can fit into now or want to fit into soon

1. want to fit into a pair of black jeans i bought a few year ago which have a big red rose on the pocket
2. A purple winter jacket which i could never button even when i bought it for a weeding i can button it no problem and fits me
3. My swimsuit although i dont look great i wore it twice to the swimming the first in 5 years


3 milestones on your journey so far

1. first mining target of 18st 7 i am now 17st 2 my next mini tagret is under 17st so not long to go
3. Going swimming for the first time in 5 years
3. being able to play with my 2 nephews and niece with out to much puffing and panting( believe it or not i was playing football with them last week)
