Today I decided to try two recipes from the Let's Eat section.

For lunch, I made the Creamy Vegetable Soup for me and my family. My SO said it was very 'morale boosting' and everybody enjoyed tucking into it.

For dinner, I made the Quorn Spicy Noodles. I love making food like this: it takes minutes to cook in the wok, kinda Asian, spicy and veerrrry tasty. Delicious lipsmacking.gif

I recommend both recipes.

Has anybody else made recipes from the Let's Eat section of the website? What did you make? Would you recommend it to others?

Yeah it's yummy!

Also the goats cheese and spinich stuffed mushrooms
mmmm

I think in general the recipies are all good

With the exeption of a few I won't make again - the morrocan fish stew but that just wasn't my thing
and the baked bean burgers from the low check no check I think I just can't make cos they've got cottage cheese in them and it just sounds awful I've not tried but I know ppl who have and didn't like them hehe

Hmmm, that baked bean burger thing sounds almost like a WW recipe from days gone past laugh.gif Some of them were pretty vile.

Had a look at the spinach and mushroom dish. Yeah, that sounds good. My daughter loves the big mushroom starters!

I tried the Quick Coq au Vin recipe last night. I had to double it to feed my family but I'm not so sure about this recipe. There seemed to be a helluva amount of liquid for just two teaspoons of flour to thicken it. Still, it was warming and felt very nourishing going down my sore throat. It filled up everybody who ate it and only Miss Fussy Eater (aka my daughter) would not try it. laugh.gif

This lunchtime I made the Chickpea Fritters. 10 out of 10 for them. They were easy to make and came out lovely. Great stuffed inside a pitta bread and dipped in the yoghurt dip. lipsmacking.gif Miss Fussy Eater gave her approval, too. 2thumbs.gif

The boursin chicken is lovley lipsmacking.gif so is the boursin pasta - i mix the 2 together and do 45g pasta for me - 1 x chicken breast between the 2 of us and - 2 chx worth smoked ham for each portion and brocolli and boursin its delish! - one wee tip if you do the boursin pasta i have found it is better to mix your cheese and milk in a small pan and warm gently before pouring over the pasta - it doesnt need to be really hot the pasta will do the rest of the job - makes it much mre saucey doing it that way rather than just mixing it all in with the pasta cold

Good luck with the pepping, remember you can have anything you want, just balance it out biggrin.gif
