Hi Everyone

Im posting this early as I am at my book group straight from work tomorrow. Thanks for last weeks great motivational talk Sue biggrin.gif – lets see how I fair this week smile.gif

This week’s topic is planning and preparation...

You know what it's like - we've all done it - when you've had a really rubbish day and you walk in the house and mine sweep the fridge - except, horror of horrors, you didn't shop this week and there is nothing in there to eat but a tub of ice cream and some chocolate and what do you do?....Well you eat it of course, along with whatever else you can find. Moral of the story is - 'when you fail to plan you are planning to fail' so be prepared and have contingency plans in place.

This can be as simple as batch cooking & freezing portions when you do have the time. Try making things like chilli, bolognaise or low check/no check soup or you could make an extra portion of whatever you are having for tea that night & pop it in the freezer for another day. It’s also good to have things like pasta rice and cous cous & cook from frozen healthy items like chicken & fish in the house to make a quick healthy meal & also think about having things like sugar free jelly, frozen yoghurt or small bars of good quality dark chocolate in stock for those ‘sweet fix’ moments. We all have them and its no good to deny yourself constantly or you will likely break and binge on these sweet things till you feel sick. By doing simple things such as these you will be able to stay on track much easier.


Now on to this weeks special mentions:

RebelSue for losing 2lbs and bringing her total weight loss to 2 stone!! That’s absolutely fantastic – well done Sue – you are on the home straight now. I know how motivated you are and know you will keep up the great work! Mini_Maz – for losing 1lb and not going crazy on an unplanned night out – well done! Tray – For losing 2lb and being one step closer to target – only 1lb to go. That is so exciting! Well done Tray biggrin.gif 2thumbs.gif

Between us this week we have lost 12.5lbs, gained a wee 6.5 and have no sts. Well done! If you have gained this week please remember it is not the end of the world, you just need to put it behind you and start again.

Well, I can report a weight loss this morning of 3 pounds!!! I had a feeling that I'd lost an interesting amount because I'm really beginning to get back into my clothes now and I feel relatively smaller. laugh.gif

This also means that I have reached my second mini target so altogether I have lost a stone!!

Fanbloodytastic Suzanne, I'm hoping for a loss too, got up this morning, thought something wrong with my legs then I realised I could see a bone in my calfs laugh.gif laugh.gif

Im upping my exercise this week but feeling like im having a fat week so who knows! Bit worried about weigh in as I want to try get a good loss before october (my hols!)

fell off pep wagon yesterday big time.....got up this morn and thought...do i go 2nite or not??/ well on holiday 2day so decided damage limitation.... so walked 2 town very fast (3 miles) then went swimming, water aerobics, sauna n turkish and went 2 wi and lost wee half pound!!!! soooo over themoon!!!

I'm not making my weigh-in tomorrow either, my neices 2nd birthday. Could possibly just go by my scales tho, they're pretty much on par with the class.....

Oh dear - sad to report a gain of 1.5lb! I did have an 'incident' with a bag of chocolate over the weekend though - so at least I know it was well and truely deserved!!

ROFL! Well, I've been called many things but 'mini target queen' has got to be a first. laugh.gif laugh.gif And, yeah, it's a great feeling but, of course, part of my mind is nagging at me telling me I still have so much to lose and I still look fat and frumpy. Oh well...I'll get there in the end.

No, I did not go to Zumba last night, however, I did a lot of walking yesterday. That's the most I have walked since my appendix operation so I think I deserved a rest last night. And I still would like to go to Zumba next week.

Yeah my scales are same as class too - apart from a scary incident this week where i thought id put on 3.5lbs! but turns out the batteries were dying! phew!!

Think I've lost 3lb. Not confirmed yet but thats what my scales at home tell me will see on the "official" scales when I get to work rolleyes.gif 3lb is good though smile.gif fingers crossed!!!

Hi everyone hope your all well went to class last night and i've stayed the same which i am happy 2thumbs.gif with as i've been out for 3 meals over the weekend so thought it might have been a gain piggy.gif so going to step it up this week with a few recipes from the no check low check and fingers crossed for next week.

Summer sun 2
2lbs on for me this week, totally deserved but feeling more positive and just getting on with it. I was really bloated this week and had some stomach pain but everything back to normal now so hopefully will see a loss next week y_innocent.gif
