Carbohydrates are an important fuel source for our bodies and shouldn't be avoided. On FeelGood, you can have 3 carbohydrate foods such as 2 small slices of wholemeal or multigrain bread, 1 portion of unsweetened porridge oats and 1 medium sweet potato per day without using up any Flexichecks.
The first 3 Good Carbs that you add to your diary will be zero Checks. Carbohydrate foods after the first 3 will start to use up your Flexichecks allowance.
Good Carbs are marked in your diary with a small Orange label with the letters GC.
If you are on Classic Checks, all carbohydrate foods will have a check value. You may still see the Good Carbs label in your diary against some of these foods and that is our way of letting you know that this is what we refer to as a Good Carbs.
