Healthy berry breakfast bars:

We are bringing you this deliciously healthy breakfast treat in partnership with Hamlyns Of Scotland using the best quality Scottish oats. 

Servings 12 bars


  • 200 g Hamlyns Scottish porridge oats
  • 100 g chopped dates
  • 30 g pumpkin seeds
  • 2 bananas
  • 4 tbsp honey
  • ½ tsp cinnamon
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 100 g frozen blueberries


  1. Preheat oven to 180⁰C/ 160⁰C fan.
  2. Heat the honey and vanilla extract over a low heat until melted.
  3. Mash the bananas then add in oats, dates, pumpkin seeds, honey, cinnamon, vanilla extract and blueberries.
  4. Pour mixture into a lined baking tray. Bake for 15-18 minutes until golden around the edges.
  5. Remove and leave to cool for at least an hour.
  6. Once cooled, cut into 12 bars.
