Healthy berry breakfast bars:
We are bringing you this deliciously healthy breakfast treat in partnership with Hamlyns Of Scotland using the best quality Scottish oats.
- 200 g Hamlyns Scottish porridge oats
- 100 g chopped dates
- 30 g pumpkin seeds
- 2 bananas
- 4 tbsp honey
- ½ tsp cinnamon
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 100 g frozen blueberries
Preheat oven to 180⁰C/ 160⁰C fan.
Heat the honey and vanilla extract over a low heat until melted.
Mash the bananas then add in oats, dates, pumpkin seeds, honey, cinnamon, vanilla extract and blueberries.
Pour mixture into a lined baking tray. Bake for 15-18 minutes until golden around the edges.
Remove and leave to cool for at least an hour.
Once cooled, cut into 12 bars.
